It's eclectic, creative, and full of personality, the kind of place where you want to look around, take it all in, and stay awhile. What we got: Pistachio Latte: Smooth, nutty, and lightly sweet. It tastes like pistachio without being overpowering, and it's easily one of the most interesting lattes I've had. Ube Latte: Beautiful, creamy, and unique. The ube gives it a mellow, almost vanilla-like sweetness with a flavor you don't find at most coffee shops. It's as photogenic as it is delicious. Both drinks were well balanced and full of flavor. If you're tired of the same old coffee orders, this is the place to try something different. It's perfect for a coffee date, a creative break, or anyone who appreciates a spot with character. Dr. Drips is now on my must-visit list whenever I'm in Orlando. If you love unique drinks and cool atmospheres, you'll love it here too. The new space is more open and thoughtfully laid out, no longer narrow or cramped, while still maintaining the character that made Austin's special. There's a beautiful interior paired with an outdoor area to hang out, which gives the space room to breathe without losing intimacy. We went for the first Sunday open mic at the new location, and the place was packed. The crowd was colorful, the energy was high, and it truly felt like the community showing up to support something they love. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Winter Park, and I must say, it was an unforgettable brunch experience that left my taste buds dancing with delight. The highlight of my visit was the Hash Brown Benedict paired with a Salted Caramel Cold Brew mixed with Kahlua, a combination that proved to be a match made in culinary heaven. Let's start with the Hash Brown Benedict. This dish was a masterpiece of flavors and textures. The perfectly crispy hash browns served as a base for the poached eggs and creamy hollandaise sauce, creating a harmonious contrast between the crunchiness of the hash browns and the silkiness of the sauce. The eggs were poached to perfection, with velvety yolks that oozed deliciously when cut into. The addition of crispy bacon and fresh chives added a delightful savory element to each bite. It was a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. To complement this fantastic dish, I decided to try the Salted Caramel Cold Brew mixed with Kahlua. This cold brew concoction was a revelation. The rich and bold coffee flavor was beautifully balanced by the sweet and slightly salty notes of salted caramel. The addition of Kahlua provided a subtle yet indulgent coffee liqueur kick that elevated the drink to a whole new level of deliciousness. It was the perfect companion to my meal, offering a refreshing and caffeinated counterpoint to the savory Hash Brown Benedict. The ambiance of Another Broken Egg Cafe was also a pleasant surprise. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with friendly and attentive staff, made for a truly enjoyable dining experience. Whether you're looking for a relaxing brunch spot or a place to catch up with friends, this cafe ticks all the boxes. In conclusion, my visit to Another Broken Egg Cafe in Winter Park was nothing short of extraordinary. The Hash Brown Benedict was a culinary masterpiece, and the Salted Caramel Cold Brew mixed with Kahlua was the perfect beverage pairing. If you're in the Winter Park area and seeking a brunch experience that's both delicious and memorable, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this cafe a try. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! read more

My recent visit to Another Broken Egg left me thoroughly impressed, especially with their Salmon Benedict. The dish was a true delight for the taste buds! The poached eggs were expertly cooked, with the velvety yolk adding a luscious texture to every bite. The smoked salmon, a highlight of the dish, brought a delightful smokiness that complemented the overall flavor profile. What truly stood out was Samos and the English muffin combination which served as a sturdy base, providing a satisfying contrast in texture. The presentation was awesome, showcasing the chef's dedication to both aesthetic appeal and culinary excellence. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall positive experience, making it a breakfast spot I'll be returning to. If you're a fan of Benedicts, the Salmon Benedict at Another Broken Egg is a must-try! read more

Today I had a great experience with an early lunch. Our server Rayna did everything she could do to make my lunch perfect. My salad arrived with onions, which I asked not to be included, she noticed and then insisted that I have a new salad. That new salad was delivered within minutes so that I was still able to lunch along with my friend. I was totally impressed. The food was delicious and I would definitely order the salad again, though my friends Eggs Benedict looked amazing and my friend said, were delicious. We sat in one of their outside tables, safely distanced from the other outdoor tables. Hello my new breakfast restaurant, sadly I haven't eaten breakfast out since Covid since I never felt safe. This is my favorite ABE location being in the winter park area. So much stuff around to do after brunch & their food is always prepared so well. Even their fruit is nice with no filler fruit, you know? I've never had a bad experience with their service. They are always so welcoming and nice. Sometimes the staff at breakfast places, when they are busy, treat you like another table. I love breakfast and I love their breakfast. Besides White Wolf Cafe, this is where I want to go for a hearty, delicious breakfast. My favorite items are the biscuits and gravy and the Hey Lucy omelet. I only order the Hey Lucy now when I go, cause I just can't believe another item would top that. Wish they did a special price on Sat/Sun for mimosa's but if I'm more in the mood for that I'll probably go to White Wolf. I'd give it a 5 if the service was better. I have to admit, it has never been good. I usually sit at the bar now, to avoid a wait (there is usually a wait on Sat/Sun mornings) and since the bartender/server is right in front of me should i need anything. read more

I met up with a friend for breakfast at Another Broken Cafe, which had been on my radar for a while. Sadly, the experience fell short of expectations. Service was a letdown right from the start--the server took 10+ minutes to even swing by our table for drink orders, didn't even bring water. The cold brew was overpriced and tasted terrible, and I'm usually not fussy about coffee. My omelette was just average, lacking flavor and that special touch. On the bright side, my friend enjoyed their Hash Brown Benedict. However, with plenty of other breakfast spots to choose from, I will not be back. read more

And here's something restaurant owners should probably frame on the wall because it's becoming weirdly rare these days: the food was cooked correctly and served hot. Hot. As in actually warm when it hit the table and not sitting under a heat lamp long enough to qualify for Social Security. I ordered the omelette, and it absolutely hit the spot. Comfort food done properly. Fluffy, flavorful, filling, and exactly what I wanted breakfast to be. My daughter ordered the steak and egg hash, and visually... let's just say this isn't a dish entering any beauty pageants. It kind of arrives looking like breakfast got into a small argument with itself. But one bite in and none of that mattered. It was rich, hearty, luscious, and cooked just right. The kind of dish where every bite feels indulgent enough that you briefly stop caring about cholesterol or responsibility. This location honestly felt dialed in. The kitchen was on point, the service was strong, and the overall experience reminded me that consistency is what separates a good restaurant visit from a forgettable one. Because of my mixed history with First Watch overall, I can't quite bring myself to throw five stars into the air like confetti... but this particular location absolutely earned four stars and deserves credit for getting it right.

I have been eating at the Briarpatch Restaurant for over 40 years and have totally enjoyed the chunky chicken salad. But this time, the salad was not chunky it was a typical shredded chicken salad with too much pepper - not the traditional chicken salad I have had over the past 40 years. Ownership needs to do something about this.

Briarpatch doesn't take reservations for brunch, but don't worry. I truly have never seen a walk-in line move so quickly! With a line out the door, and even sometimes around the corner, I have never waited more than 20 minutes for a table. Their staff is quick and efficient. Inside, it truly feels like a diner in NYC! There is plenty of patio seating as well, so I know I will be taking advantage of that when the weather cools down here in Florida! Looking for something savory? The short rib benedict is PHENOMENAL!!! Such a creative take on a classic eggs benedict; and packed with flavor. Sweet? The raspberry & brie french toast is my favorite thing on the menu. It is thick cut brioche bread stuffed with raspberry jam & brie cheese. I usually come with a friend, we get one of each of those entrees, and split it! I can never decide!! Keep in mind that the potions are HUGE. You can easily share with a friend!
