She took care of our needs quickly and made some good suggestions. The food was top notch. I had the biscuits and gravy based on another Yelp review and loved every bite. This place is the best breakfast I've had in...well maybe ever! Yes, it's that good! Great vibe, wonderful service. We got there around 10, there was a 15-25 min wait, but were seated way quicker. I loved that they text you when ur table is ready so we were able to walk around the shops till then. The food, well, incredible. My husband had the Lucy which looked super yummy, and I had the peach pancake combo that came with sausage and eggs. All great, but the sausage, I would come back just for that! OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! Stumbled on this place while on vacation. Through the diet out the window and treat yourself to incredible food!!! Had Beignets for the first time in my life!!! Slice of heaven on this side. Louisiana Crawfish Bowl is delicious. Added a little hot sauce and loved every bite. Wife had the Skinny Omelet. She said "it was to die for"! Hands down best breakfast in siesta key! The first time I had regular eggs over easy with their homemade sausage and pancakes and it was excellent. Everything was cooked perfect and came out timely and hot. Great coffee as well. Our server Brooke was awesome and made our morning. The only thing I would say negative is I felt the seating was a little tight. Second day back I had the huevos rancheros with chorizo which was out of this world. The place is reasonably priced and it turns over fairly quickly. Next time I'm in Siesta Key I'm definitely coming back! Highly recommended this place for breakfast if you're in the area! read more

We were happily surprised to find that we could hop over to the bar without waiting for 45 minutes for a regular table, however we got a bit balled out by the bartender for sitting down without permission I guess. She must have been preoccupied since she neglected to give us waters and refill our coffee's. I assumed she was still miffed at us. Our food was pretty good, the prices were a bit steep however for the portions that were presented to us and we had to ask several times for more coffee and more refills of water. I ordered an omelet with a side of potatoes, only problem was I got about 3 potatoes, think they must have been running low. You can get on the waitlist from their website. I ordered a special, Lobster Benedict for $17.99, expecting at least a few chunks of lobster. What came was a scramble of little pieces, that while tasty, was not at all what I expected. It looked what was left on the chopping block. My wife and I decided to try this place out for breakfast on our honeymoon. There was a short wait but we got in fairly quickly. I'll keep this one simple. Pros: Food was awesome. Everything was fresh and you get a decent amount for your dollar there. Cons: Only con we had was service. While no one was rude or impolite by any means, we were only checked on maybe twice the entire time. We didn't have any silverware until we got our food making it a pain to stir coffee and it seemed the staff was really overwhelmed that day. All in all, give it a shot. This place is a gem! We went here twice while staying in Siesta Key for a friend's wedding I was a part of. The first time I went, I had crab cake eggs Benedict. The second, chicken and waffles. The first time I had the strawberry mimosa (split the carafe) and the second I had the coffee (the second time was after the wedding, we didn't need more alcohol!). The food is absolutely delicious, I tried many of my friend's meals as well and we didn't have anything that wasn't top notch and highly recommended. One thing that's for sure, get the city grits. They hype this stuff up and it's WORTH IT! They're cheesy and bacon-y and geez they're amazing. When we told the waiter it was our first time and my friend's wedding weekend, they brought out beignets for the table for us for free! I very highly recommend their coffee, they have an amazing signature blend. The only downside to this place is the wait, which is a testimony of how good the quality is. My overall experience at this restaurant was not the best. My eggs tasted like something I could have whipped up at home, the potato's were very cold, and the waffle was very dry. However, after trying the food my parents ordered I was disgusted. Their eggs were very watered down and they stated it was a chore finishing it. Both of them had stomach aches after eating here and the service was horrible as well. For the price we payed for the food and our experience we had it's safe to say I won't be coming back here nor recommending this to anybody. read more

We were running out of breakfast spots in Siesta Key Village and this one was towards the bottom of the list and now I can see why. This location is awkwardly located on the side of a building with a huge patio area that actually serves as the main entrance. The patio is large and can accommodate numerous people. They have jammed tables everywhere and it makes dining outside a little uncomfortable. We were seated outside and a lady came over immediately to take our drink order. Our actual server came over a few moments later and asked us what our drinks were since she didn't take the order, wrote it down and took our food order. We ordered French toast and pancakes. Both of which came with two eggs and a side of our choice. She put in our order and brought me out a refill of my soft drink. Even after she wrote it down she brought me out a diet soda instead of a regular one. Our food was brought out 20 minutes later by a food runner, which took kind of a long time for French toast and pancakes. The French toast was served on a large plate while my two eggs and sausage patties were on a six inch side plate that is meant for bread. When you order two over easy eggs it really made a mess and got all over the sausage. Not a big deal but a little inconvenient. The eggs were cooked right and the sausage definitely had a nice cajun flavor to it and was very tasty. My French toast wasn't very hot when it arrived and our maple syrup was terrible. It had a very thin consistency to it and tasted very watered down. I would have preferred Aunt Jemima's over their syrup. At one point, I opened a pack of sweet n low to add it to the syrup just to give it some more flavor. Pathetic. Our server never came by once our meal was delivered and never even asked us how it was. By the time she came around we were done with our food and I ended up asking for a drink to go. There aren't many breakfast places in Siesta Key Village so if you're there and running out of places to try, just go to another place that you have already attended. We were staying at the Tropical Breezes Resort therefore this was a block away from our place. WOW! Starting with a small order of the beignets is a must. The orange marmalade syrup that they are served with is fabulous. I just went with a traditional breakfast but my boyfriend had the bacon and cream cheese omelet. He said it was a winner.
