I'll be honest, I was expecting some Restaurant Depot crust and weak sauce...when it was put in front of us we were both like "Wow, this ain't no pre-made crust". Then we bit into it. The crust had a perfect crisp and the ingredients were all fresh. My wife had two slices it was so good, and she almost never has two in one sitting. This has been the best Margarita pie we have had in a long time. We didn't finish it and what was left was brought home and re-heated in the oven...just as good the next day. Another Broken Egg is an absolute gem of a spot! My boyfriend and I decided to make a day trip from St. Pete and stumbled upon this charming breakfast place. From the moment we walked in, we knew it was going to be good--the bustling crowd was a sure sign! Our server was a delight, offering us numerous recommendations and making us feel right at home. Although I missed out on the cinnamon French toast (apparently a must-try!), my lobster and brie omelette was a delightful surprise, packed with flavor and uniqueness. My boyfriend enjoyed his power bowl as well. To complement our meal, we indulged in a pitcher of mimosas that were absolutely divine. Overall, Another Broken Egg exceeded our expectations with its fun and cute ambiance, friendly service, and delicious breakfast offerings. Today, 2/4/22 was my last day in Sarasota until next February, my family left the breakfast decision up to me and without hesitation I said Another Broken Egg Cafe. All the staff is amazing, very attentive to your needs and truly care about you having a great experience. Today I had the Lobster and Brie omelette, City grits and a Screwdriver. My mom had the Floridian omelette, we split them in half and shared. Both were amazing. No pictures to share, but the portions are very generous, and you will not leave hungry. Another Broken Egg is worth the time and money for exceptional food and service. We have been going there for years and the food and service is consistently good. We usually order an egg scrambler with spinach and roasted red peppers. It comes with potatoes and muffin. For dessert, a waffle with strawberries. Waffle is the best tasting in town -- crispy and light. They,also, make a great blood Mary. I prefer coffee and a mango ice tea. Price is very reasonable for what you get. terrible service. they were out of 2 menu items that i tried to order and the server had no idea each time she had to come back and tell me instead of knowing. Not only were they out of 2 items i wanted they continued to rush me to order my food after they told me. food was subpar i could make a better omelette at my house. drinks were watered down. only got 1 napkin and it was soaking wet because they cleaned the table right before we sat down and didn't bother to dry it off. Fortunately for visitors this another excellent option for breakfast or a snack in Siesta Key. The staff are pleasant and the service is swift. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals and were in and out of there quite quickly. I like to eat good food but don't like to take too much time away from outdoor activities and this place is perfect for that. For food, we ordered the French onion soup and the classic fish & chips. Both were delicious and their fries are perfection. They have really mastered the French onion soup. My reason for giving 4 stars is that they seem to have a fly problem inside, which made the experience much less enjoyable. We were being swarmed by tons of flies throughout our entire meal, constantly swatting them away. They kept landing on my husband & son's heads. We were seated at the table nearest to the kitchen. All the doors & windows were closed, so it was a bit concerning that there were so many. Hopefully they get that issue sorted out.
