Took a weekend getaway to Siesta Key and stopped here for breakfast. Location has a big outdoor area and some indoor seating. We chose to sit indoors because it was a hot morning. Menu was inventive, with a lot of options for both savory and sweet. We didn't drink, by the brunch cocktails looked delicious. My friend went for one of the sensible breakfast, and I went full south- crab cakes and fried green tomatoes with the city grits. Both were very tasty! A must try in Siesta Key! Recommend go early though because it can get crowded. Everything was really good. If you walk down the road it's located on, pretty sure it goes to the beach. I ordered eggs scrambled with cheese, bacon, hashbrowns and toast it was very large portions and cooked perfectly. It is a busy place, I would try to arrive at opening. There is outdoor seating, I advise sit outdoors as inside is nice, but can get crowded. I had the cinnamon roll French toast and there is nothing to say but DONT MISS OUT ON THIS!! This was the most delicious French toast I've ever pleasured my palate with! Delicious! My husband and I loved this spot! Nothing special about the location or atmosphere but the food was excellent! I had the lemon blueberry and goat cheese pancakes (so good!) and my husband had the hash brown Benedict which did not disappoint! Also had a really well made Bloody Mary. Drove through Siesta Key for a good brunch place on a Friday morning and stumbled across this with great reviews! Yelp didn't lie - service and food was tasty here! As a plus, you can add yourself to a waitlist which is really nice. My boyfriend and I added ourselves to the waitlist about 15 minutes away and we had a table waiting for us when we showed up. Sit outside if you can, since the inside isn't sunny/seems a bit cramped IMO. The menu was vast and there were a lot of good breakfast drink options. I opted for the cranberry mimosa, and boyfriend got the lemon blueberry mimosa. We were happy with both, although I wish the drinks were a bit bigger for the prices. They offer cold brew which was good as well. I could've sworn I ordered a fried green tomato and ham benedict, but my benedict came out with a normal tomato. I was tired though so maybe I misread it. Surprising considering I hate tomato in my breakfast, but hey, it was good anyway! Hollandaise was great and poached eggs were perfect, but my ham was salty as hell! I actually couldn't eat it and ended up pushing it to the side. It hurt my mouth it was so salty. My boyfriend got the fresh salmon benedict and devoured it, so I think it's safe to say he was happy. My family of 4 came on a Wednesday morning around 9am while vacationing in the area. We were seated right away and everyone we encountered was very friendly. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure to give us advice while ordering. For instance, when I went to order the sausage patties he made sure to give me the heads up that they can be an acquired taste and that they have a strong sage flavor. I appreciated this as I am not a huge fan of sage. We ordered several items from the menu as so many things sounded tasty and we had a hard time deciding. We ended up ordering the Hey Lucy! omelette, which my husband thought was slightly overcooked and dry. I got the pumpkin waffle with pecans and spiced butter. While I liked it, the pumpkin flavor was a little too subtle for me. We also ordered the limited time offering, pound cake waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. This was delicious but not something I could make a meal of as it's pretty sweet. Luckily, we ordered this to share between us. My favorite part had to be the beignets with the orange marmalade dipping sauce. We got a free order since it was our first time. Our only other experience with beignets has been at Disney and these were much better. Partly because of the orange marmalade and partly because they didn't have a strong fried taste. Our waitress was attentive and they offered complimentary beignets to the table since it was our first visit. We come here every time we are in siesta key which is often. Food is always good. The staff all seemed happy, helpful, and the hosts were so sweet. When it came time to check out we waited for a bit which was fine. My dad came back from the bathrooms and our server came to our table and grabbed the bills and said "I have more than one table you aren't my only table." I was a little surprised. I get being busy and overwhelmed but I'd never say something to my table like that. I asked if he went and found her or something and he said she was just walking out when he was walking out and he said he was ready to cash out whenever she was. Busy and for good reason. Plenty of choices and everything is super fresh. If you have never been here and you are visiting Siesta Key, put it on your bucket list. If you eat food and you don't stop in this place, before you leave, then your dumb. If I recall, I believe this place might have had a 3 star rating. I'd likely try a different place other than this wen we return. The food was mostly pretty good. Service could have been better to be honest. Waitress didn't come to the table much and we could have used refills. I had to ask to get our forks after the breakfast arrived. This is probably one of the best places to have breakfast if you are visiting Siesta Key Beach. The place is located just a few minutes walking distance from the beach and hotels. We were offered inside/outside sitting but the day was blazing hot so we decided to wait for the indoor sitting. The initial waiting time was 25 minutes for a party of two but it took longer than that; 40 minutes to be exact. Our waitress was friendly and courteous. I had the original waffle with scrambled eggs, homemade sausage patties and a mimosa. Everything was made to perfection. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because we were sitting next to the bathrooms and while we ate our breakfast we had people standing in line right next to our table waiting to go the bathroom. This location is only 5 minutes walk to the beach and has shaded outdoor seating. I visited on Sunday around 10 am and had a short 20 minute wait that let us enjoy the walk to the beach. 10-12 years ago this was the first stop for a beach day on siesta key. The last 2-3 visits have been very disappointing. This will be my last visit. I ordered the cold coffee pancakes, and they were very underwhelming. No coffee taste, and just a few traces of chocolate chips. The coffee is below average. The poached eggs came out as a debacle.
