Had a great meal at Bridges inside the Embassy Suites in Sarasota! I ordered the fried chicken burger and a cold beer--crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. My wife went with the poke bowl, and it was absolutely delicious--fresh ingredients, well-balanced flavors, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is upscale but relaxed, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Whether you're staying at the hotel or just in the area, Bridges is definitely worth a visit for a solid meal and a chill vibe.

The view is amazing and so was the food, service and ambiance. The dessert also was a an extra surprise that did not disappointment. The warm fruit crumble and ice cream was a perfect way to end the night.

Food was delicious and had good portions for hotel food. The service was good as well. We were happy with the breakfast options they provided as well. The fish on the sandwich was superb! Totally worth it! Great easy spot to eat with good quality!

Had dinner with my son here tonight. We order the Matzo Ball soup ,Reuben and a Pastrami on rye. The soup was delicious. Both sandwiches were big and pretty flavorful. The Reuben was the better of the two. Nice eating area on the 8th floor of the Embassy Suite

I came in here on a Saturday afternoon and Ashley and David Garcia at the upstairs bar (with a great view, air conditioned perfectly) were great to me. I had a few beers and met some travelers. If you're looking to get out of the heat and still be able to view the great vistas Sarasota has to offer, I'd reccommend popping over. There are sports TV's & more over the windows if you're into that and a cool design aesthetic reminiscent of a sort of deco 80,90's up top the bar with a very high ceiling so you don't feel claustrophobic. A great experience!

Went to the bar for happy hour drinks, and planned on getting dinner, but instead had a slice of the key lime pie. It was tart and very tasty. Service was a tad slow, but then again it was New Years Eve. Will definitely back and will have the pie again!!

I love the view from this restaurant & the food is delicious! The menu has so many great options - my favorite dish that I tried was the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich.

As many of you may have heard, the Embassy Suites Hotel and Bridges Restaurant will be changing ownership on April 20th. I am so grateful to have worked for Innisfree Hotels and Mr. & Mrs. Bridges for several years. I have had the opportunity to offer my Sol's NYC Cheesecake and Deli Corner at both the Hotel Indigo and for the last couple of years at Bridges Restaurant. It has been my pleasure to serve everyone that has made the trip to the eighth floor to enjoy great views and great dining. Effective April 17th, Sol's Deli Corner and SOL's NYC Cheesecake will no longer be available. On April 20th, I will be taking much-needed time to relax and do some projects that have been put on the back burner while working many hours over the last couple of years. I can assure you that I will be back, and when I do, I will let you all know where. My SOl's NYC Cheesecake is available at a few local restaurants at this time, and more to follow. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support over the years!

Tonight we had the Fra Diablo which had good taste. The main problem was the shrimp and some of the other seafood was overcooked. The dish seemed to be overcooked and was maybe was microwaved to heat it up. I should have probably ordered a sandwich. This is a Nice small restaurant though.

The only two things that didn't quite work for me were the vegetable paella and the mushroom toast, but everything else was solid to excellent. They also did a great job accommodating us with kids. We had a nice semi-private table upstairs, which made the whole dinner feel comfortable and easy for a group. Overall, it's a great place for both groups and date nights, and I'd happily return.

Previous Review: 5 Stars for the best cocktails on AMI, and a craft cocktail bar vibe you wouldn't necessarily expect here. (Plus, the service is AMAZING) We walked in (no reservation) after dinner one weekend evening and we were greeted by Matt, who found us a spot at the bar. He gave us menus and a "wellness shot" -- delicious little concoction to wet your palate! Right away I was blown away by the interior and the menu. This looked like it belonged somewhere in Denver or Chicago, but I was thrilled to find it on the island! Matt helped guide us to drinks we'd like on the menu. I ordered the Purgatory, made up of Bourbon, chocolate bitters, agave and premium mezcal. It was divine!! We also ordered some warmed olives, and they were hot and so fragrant. Definitely something I'd order again at the bar. I was stoked to see they have a veggie-specific section on the food menu and can't wait to go back for dinner. I'll definitely make a reservation though, as it was pretty full. Next time, in terms of drinks, I have my eyes on the espresso martini (off menu, but saw a pic on Yelp), and the kiss kiss bang bang. Thanks to Matt and Emily who helped us with our drinks along the way. Sometimes these fabulous craft bars can be pretentious, but the service here was a huge standout. Can't wait to return!
