Food: for a hotel restaurant, and actually for any restaurant, the dinner fare was delicious - breakfast was hit or miss, however, with potatoes, great fruit, but lousy pancakes, nasty sausage, etc. Service: breakfast is buffet; the dinner was waitress service, very polite and friendly. Ambiance: none, really, as you are basically in a hotel lobby, semi separated by a water-feature wall. Cost for quality: expensive hotel pricing and they automatically charge you a 20% gratuity, even for the buffet. Beers: nothing worth buying unless you really need a Guinness.

The best Burgers in town period!! One of the best ones I ever tried. The happy hour is from 3pm to 6pm and their small plates are 50% off. They have big screen TV´s to watch sports. Their staff was always very helpful. Very well recommended!!

Ok... this hotel is wonderful but the restaurant/bar - plus the awesome service and food makes me come back every time I'm in Bradenton or Sarasota. I don't have to fight the traffic of Anna Marie island or Sarasota to have a culinary treat!! Here for savor Sarasota menu - a preview to their menu coming - but on any day this is a must visit in Bradenton!! Ate my lobster kiwi carpaccio so fast forgot to take a pic. Melon salad pic and gulf seafood lasagna attached. Local and in season food with a real chef staff - I'm a foodie and this is just delightful. So easy and comfortable too. Enjoy. It's a hidden gem and you'll love it!!

Great Great Service!!!…read more My co worker and I decided to stop and have some boil tonight, the service was excellent! My order was a pound of shrimp, pound of mussels and some sausage, in a mild Garlic Butter Seasoning, it was excellent! Fresh Rice! Refills on drinks came thru, he was very nice! Something you don't see often is places packing to go leftovers at your table, he even put gloves on to touch the bag it was a plus to service!

I was seated right away and intrigued by the menu, a combination for all seafood lovers is there, and since I moved here from the Washington, DC area, when I saw blue crabs as a choice, I jumped on adding that to my order. I ordered the "Feeling Crabby" boil, and figured I would be waiting a while, but that was not the case, my food arrived in less than 5 minutes, and it was HUGE. I dove right in, adhering to my long lost dad's rule of "Eat the expensive stuff first"- he would tell me and my 5 siblings that on the rare occasion that we ate out- so I went right for the blue crab. This was the only disappointing part of my whole visit. The blue crabs are tiny, like half the size of the palm of your hand, and I had never seen any that small. Back in Northern VA and MD, these would be illegal to keep, and there was literally no meat to be taken from them, so that was a letdown, so I moved on to the shrimp, which, with the Mr. & Mrs. Crab Special seasoning, was fantastic. I had no plans to eat the other stuff if I got full, but I love food and this was too good to stop now, so I forged on, trooper that I am. The sausage was quite possibly the best part of the show, it was so good that I couldn't get enough of it. The potatoes were soaked in seasoning and awesome, the corn was great, too. Man, this had me licking my lips the entire meal. Now I've been back a few more times and I prefer to make my own boil- shrimp, scallops, clams, and of course, sausage. It's a great dish and I eat every bit of it. The service is always good, and I've seen them handle difficult customers a couple of times- some customers are never pleased no matter what you do, but the staff handles them well. My only wish is that they had something besides chicken tenders to offer the non-seafood lovers. I want this because my wife doesn't like seafood and there is nothing else for her to eat there, heck, a fried chicken sandwich would do, so I can't go to this place unless my wife has other plans, which is a bummer.

She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, gave us great recommendations, got every single thing right, and was attentive without ever being overbearing. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. The food?! We had lobster, crab legs, shrimp and pasta, swordfish, and grouper -- basically, we worked our way through the seafood menu and everything was absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, generous portions, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality. Great food + great service + great prices = a definite win. We will absolutely be back!

Four of us entered the restaurant at 7:25 whereupon the first four employees we encountered (not our server or the hostess, just random employees) curtly informed us that the kitchen closes at 8:00. OK, so should we leave? We were starving but should have! Four crappy meals later, all previously frozen seafood that was poorly prepared, and lighter by $200, we regretted ever walking through the door. Let our lesson be yours and save yourself the trouble and expense. By way of comparison and not because we have any stake in it, we spent ten dollars less two nights later and had four great meals at O'Bricks downtown. Oh, and an extra round of drinks for the ladies.

When we walked in, nothing looked updated in our opinion, but please keep in mind we haven't been there before. I'm merely saying that nothing looked new or fancy or upgraded material or workmanship. It just looks like a normal diner or a restaurant that had been open for years. We asked for bar seating and were promptly greeted by the bartender and ordered our drinks all which came out nice and quick. Y'all sitting at the bar, we had a wide open view to the kitchen. Those prepping the food were prepping and plating quickly and immediately getting it under the lights for servers to take to their tables. That's where the ick factor started to kick in for me. We watched orders sit up there in excess of 10 to 15 minutes. Servers were walking by constantly and several didn't pay any attention to the prepared orders. Personally, if I'm out to eat, I'm usually hangry at that point so seeing the food up there waiting that long to be served kind of had me peeved. We continue to watch as the kitchen staff in the prepping area had to keep sliding and moving the orders around to fit up new orders. And for that reason, we didn't order food and will not return. Serving the meals when they're freshly prepared didn't seem to be a priority and order after your order sat for an extended period of time. Now for the bathrooms. There aren't any. There is not a single restroom inside. Now, how can you say you're newly renovated and updated and you don't even have bathrooms inside your establishment. Instead, you have to walk outside and across the parking lot to Mobile restrooms that were definitely unkept. There was no tent or anything or umbrellas available for the raining that obviously occurs in Florida. I just don't understand how you close to update and remodel things and you still don't have indoor bathrooms? Very peculiar to me.

Once seated, the waiter was very attentive throughout the entire meal. To start our meal, we ordered a a plate of the calamari, which were ok, maybe a bit more rubbery than I like. Side salads were brought out after, which were ok, nothing great, very basic. They also brought some tasty, warm garlic rolls/knotts with the salads. For my entree, I had a tough time deciding, there were a lot of good options on the menu, but I was really interested by the Cacio E Pepe, but it is only available as a meal for (2) which seemed a bit excessive. My brother and I decided to get it together, along with a side of sausage to add some protein to the meal. I've seen videos of pasta made with in a cheese wheel online several times, and have wanted to try it, but this has been my first opportunity. They bring out the cooked pasta, and prepare it in the cheese wheel at the table, which was an added bit of fun for the dining experience. overall it was a fun and tasty meal. Got to try something I've been wanting to for a while. One warning, the restaurant is basically just one large room, so it can get a bit loud, depending on the crowd and how busy it is. But I'd go back, and would recommend this spot to other as well.
