But we did not let that deter us and we went in and used the electronic device to get us on a waiting list. We were told 15 minutes, but we waited no more than 10. I am going to take into consideration the massive crowd, and say that our food and drink came in very reasonable time considering. We were not in a hurry, and kind of enjoy the bustle and the people. Our waitress was exceedingly friendly, very helpful and very accommodating. My friend and I each got a fancy Sunday brunch cocktail. Mine was strawberry, and it was delicious. She loved hers as well, she got the grapefruit one. They were lovely to look at and delicious and refreshing. A very fun way to start our Sunday morning. We both ordered the California club sandwich and I asked for gluten-free bread. The sandwich was delicious and the gluten-free bread was good. If you know about gluten-free bread and the heartache of searching for a decent slice, then you'll appreciate this bread on your sandwich. I got french fries which seems I have to order every single time even as I contemplate the healthier side choices. They were great, hot, fresh, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My friend got a side salad which she was happy with, obviously far more willpower than I have. She was not happy with the dressing she had chosen and the waitress happily brought her a different one. While we were there, I noticed everybody was working so hard and the customers all around us seem to be very much enjoying themselves. I don't know if this should really be relevant in my review but there was a group of four people who were sat down in a table nearby who upon being seated asked the waitress immediately if they could get their food quickly and she told them that it probably would not be as fast as they would like it. At which point they got up and left. The waitress seemed to feel bad about that, but when the manager came over to investigate, he simply took it in stride and then started to clean the table off for the next group. My friend and I had to wonder who would come into such a bustling and packed restaurant and think that they were going to get served especially fast. Another thing about we noticed about the manager is that he seemed very much hands-on and all over the place in the restaurant. He was very friendly when we looked at the check-in device and wondered what we were doing ~ he made jokes that made us feel less Luddite like. He bussed tables and sat people, and checked on things, and generally looked like the kind of manager of that Gordon Ramsay would appreciate. The menu has something for everybody! And some very exciting options that we have to go back and experience. Lots of add-ons for everything, a huge variety of choices. My sister-in-law had recommended the avocado toast, and I was tempted. I was also tempted by the biscuit and gravy and the eggs Benedict, which are hard for me to resist at brunch. but I reasonably only ordered one meal for me. It's been a long review, but I have to say the meal really was that good and the whole experience was very enjoyable. Not only will I be going back but, I will be recommending it, wholeheartedly, to everybody. Thanks for a great meal!

This place was fantastic!!! We came in on a Monday morning and there was a little bit of a wait and man are we glad we waited! Our server was extremely friendly and helpful and fast. My husband ordered a cream cheese and chorizo omelette with home fries and I ordered the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were wonderful and savory. We were not disappointed, and ate until we were about to bust! I only regret that we were traveling and could not take what we couldn't eat with us. The owner himself came to check on us twice. He was extremely courteous and friendly. We thanked him for an excellent experience and told him what a great place he had. We will definitely be back hungry for more!! Meal total was around $40 and we loved our server so much that we left a $25 tip. Can't wait till our next stop in to Another Broken Egg Café in Pooler Ga!! read more

STOP SCROLLING AND GO EAT HERE!! Our experience today can be summed up with one word PHENOMENAL!! We came in frustrated and starving with a toddler, Savannah was a disaster. We walked in and from the first moment to the last every employee we came in contact with was simply amazing. They sat us quickly and even offered an appetizer on the house because they knew how frustrated and hungry we were (especially our toddler). While we were waiting on that they even brought us a yogurt for her! Our coffees and food came quickly and our family of 3 was delighted, and the food was FANTASTIC! As my weekend getaway ended, I treated myself to a leisurely breakfast. I stumbled upon Another Broken Egg, conveniently located near my Hilton hotel. Although the brunch crowd was bustling, my wait time surprisingly dropped from an estimated 30 minutes to a mere 10. I kept it classic with a traditional breakfast and paired it with a refreshing Greyhound cocktail. The atmosphere was delightful, and the staff, especially Joxelin, were genuinely engaging, making my experience even more special. This is the place to go for brunch. Melanie was phenomenal. She treated us with true southern hospitality. The food was delicious. Nautica was only responsible for seating us, but she went above and beyond. She suggested the shrimp and grits and I am glad she did! The pitcher of strawberry mimosa hit the spot. I would suggest the pitcher for 3 people. I don't drink much so 3 glasses was more than enough. It's my birthday so they gave me a birthday card that the staff signed with a card for free beignets. Our favorite go to breakfast/brunch spot. The food is delicious with new seasonal offerings available. The French Toast is a favorite. My all time favorite is the blueberry lemon goat cheese pancakes with whipped topping. No need for syrup! Taste like lemon blueberry cheesecake. So delicious the service is amazing too! Best breakfast we've found in the Savannah area. I wasn't expecting a lot based on the location, but it's awesome. I had a trio of pancakes, one was blueberry lemon goat cheese, one was peach cobbler, and one was bananas foster. All we're amazing, but especially the blueberry one. I did a wait list and it said 15 minutes to my time . I Ck in and they said kitchen is backed up 40 minutes to an hour. After I drove 30 minutes to get here. When I opened the front door, I was immediately greeted by the hostess/server, Cheryl, who told me to sit anywhere I'd like. I made myself comfortable in a booth and began perusing the menu, which was already on the table. Cheryl came over right away, said good morning, and asked if I'd like anything to drink as I read the menu. I asked for coffee ($2.94) and water, which was brought over straight away. I then ordered the Veggie Hash Brown Deluxe. According to the menu, all of the iterations of the Hash Brown Deluxe came with "hashbrowns smothered in onions, mushrooms, broccoli, and a choice of grilled chicken ($9.94), beef ($9.94), grilled shrimp ($12.94), ham ($9.94), or Veggies ($9.94). The menu further described the veggie option as including additional zucchini and tomato. However, when my dish arrived, there was only one almost microscopic piece of tomato in the entire serving. When I pointed this out to Cheryl, she picked up my dish, examined it closely, and stated that, yes, there was tomato in there. I suppose that technically she was correct. The issue with my hashbrown entrée was my main complaint regarding my visit. Well, that and my feeling that it was overpriced for a plate of hashbrowns with a few veggies thrown in. Other than that, everything was fine. I especially appreciated the fact that Cheryl was quick to provide refills for my coffee without me having to ask. I hate having to hunt down a server to get a second or third cup of coffee. As I said at the beginning of this review, this is a typical old school diner. My experience had both good and bad aspects to it, so I think three stars is a fair rating.
