They state they offer online ordering, delivery, and take-out orders. They don't actually offer any of these options and should not be advertising them. The fact that they don't have these options makes them out-dated in my opinion. Sounds like they think COVID is over. I bet COVID precautions are non-existent. read more

Good food, Service was good but could have been excellent with proper staff. Waitress was nice and attentive, but was overworked due to staffing. She was smiling, but trying to care for too many tables at one time. Waitress gets 5 stars, The greeting staff and response time for sitting with empty booths and tables due to short staff gets a 1 star. read more

A very nice eclectic menu with gulf flare. Andouille sausage offered with most offerings, shrimp, crawfish, lobster & salmon in scramblers and salads, plus home made sausage, city grits, shrimp & grits, beignets w/ honey molasses and pitchers of mimosas and bloody Mary's. Wonderful food! Great service! The only thing really annoying was a guy who thought his "sailing company...Wild Hearts" ...the restaurant appeared to double as his office. Phone calls ...putting calls on speaker...rude and annoying. We thought it was just one day, but loved the food and service so much went back 3 times and there he sat making phone calls and hustling people at other tables. Not the restaurant's problem, but we asked to be seated as far away from him as we could. We were on vacation trying to get away from constant conversations and phones ringing. Have him rent a room in the back! Loved the food and service!! read more

Been waiting almost an hour for our food. We were told the computer systems were down and our waitress openly admitted to forgetting to put tickets in. She spilled water on us (which was a true accident). The vanilla cold brew was definitely more rum Chata than coffee. It seemed like we were unimportant and were just left alone. Regular coffee cup sat empty for about 30 minutes while our waitress disappeared. The food was delicious if you have the time to wait. It seemed the kitchen staff were to blame since the restaurant was half empty and people were just waiting for food. We kept overhearing other waitresses apologizing for the long wait. Probably won't be back. Other locations are much better. read more

Great Breakfast Joint One of the few really good breakfast restaurants in Foley. The service is really good with a very attentive wait staff. Large breakfast menu with lots to chose from. The pancakes are really good, fluffy, moist and full of flavor. Their omelets are cooked to perfections and the potatoes are nice and crisp. They have a homemade sausage that no one at our table liked, a very different flavor. Have been their many times and will go back but will stick with the bacon that is really good. A must for breakfast you will not be disapointed read more

I am so glad the Waffle House next to our hotel was packed and we drove an extra 10 minutes to get breakfast here! We were greeted warmly at the door at sat immediately (it was about 8am, on Saturday). Our server was friendly, she checked in regularly and got us everything we needed. The coffee was piping hot and delicious. Our food was hot and so good! My 12yo and 3yo shared a kids pancake meal, husband got a traditional with the grits and a biscuit, I had the eggs Benedict with the potatoes. My favorite thing was the grits , but everything was great!! I am mainly posting this review to remember to come here when we're in town again. read more

Egg-cellent Omelet Mmmmm. Yes, we had a fabulous breakfast at Another Broken Egg on our recent trip to Gulf Shores. Actually, we first discovered ABE on our trip to Gulf Shores a couple of years ago. My wife and I recently visited Gulf Shores, so of course, you go to the beach - you gotta eat, right? Well, one day we decided to eat out for breakfast. What a wonderful breakfast we had. My wife enjoyed her Eggs Benedict; they were just "runny" enough. Oh, and the coffee was great too. I decided to go with the Bacquezo Omelet. I have found my new favorite ABE Breakfast Favorite. First, the Queso was spicy enough without being overpowering. They sprinkled it on top of the omelet - and inside the omelet. Then you hit the bacon and cream cheese on the inside. Mmmm. Each bite was a wonderful sensation. In case you missed it, we liked our breakfast. In fact, chances are very good that we will return to ABE next year for some very good food. Hey, when you're there, you should check them out yourself. You'll be glad you did. We were. read more

Cherish a good breakfast spot and enjoy it while the Snowbirds aren't here. Another Broken Egg is another success in my book. There able to capture the big three. GREAT SERVICE GREAT PRICES REALLY GOOD FOOD There are about a billion ways to make Huevos Rancheros, and albeit it was different from what I expected, my Huevos Rancheros was very good. Have them put chorizo on it and it amps it up. Service was stellar, no complaints there. I was getting coffee so fast I'm going to have the jitters all day. Orange Beach over the years has suffered from that same ole fried green tomato restaurant. Not that they're bad, but change is necessary and Another Broken Egg is a good change. read more

We have been here (Orange Beech) a few days and enjoyed breakfast here more than any other place we have eaten. The dining room is nice and the wait staff person had just the right approach; friendly & attentive. We had eggs ( which were cooked perfectly) and sausage which appeared to be fresh ground and hand formed. The sausage actually had spices in it and was delicious. My grits were perfect & my husband liked his potatoes. The coffee was a cut above the usual restaurant fair. We will eat here again read more

Party of one for breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning. Promptly greeted by a very friendly hostess and manager. It was not crowded and the manager gave me my choice of seats. My server, Gina introduced herself and took my drink order. Being my first time here it took me a few minutes to decide and Gina's knowledge of the menu made my choice easier. While waiting on my order Gina kept my cup topped off with coffee. One thing I noticed was every server was smiling and interacting with their tables on a personal level. My server was no different. Very personable, nice smile, menu knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient! My food arrived and it was hot and very good. I had the BLT with avocado and country fries. All in all I'm giving 5 stars based on the overall execution of an awesome dining experience. Clearly the management knows the secret of success begins with great and uniform service. Managers were making the rounds to make sure guests were happy with their meals. Someone at this place UNDERSTANDS the recipe for a successful business! Great job! read more

We've eaten here before at another location two years ago and it was wonderful. However, today was a disappointment. The drink glasses had a bad smell - like dirty dishwater. My husband's Bloody Mary was 15+ minutes to get. Our wait for our food exceeded thirty minutes. Once the food arrived, it was not well prepared. My daughter even complained. Our waitress was kind but really busy. I'm guessing some of this is staffing issues but we won't be back. read more

This place for breakfast does not disappoint!! I have only had one better breakfast ever and that was for being alcohol infused! When being seated our hostess told us to mention that we are first timers to our server and she brought over there version of Beignets our first time having them and they tasted so good paired with the orange marmalade! We also ordered Mimosa's she got a lemon blueberry and I had a apple pie. For not being a champagne fan I liked the taste of these. These two only are tip of the ice burg when it comes to there drink options. Our breakfast selections were lobster and Brie omelette served with grits (my wife's favorite part), and a blackberry cream cheese stuffed French toast with homemade sausage patties! The stuffed French toast was the bomb and don't miss out on not having the the sausage it is one of the best patties I've had period. The choices seemed fun and up to date! read more

The first thing that impressed me was the ample parking. The restaurant also has a small private beach area for customers, along with a great bar area overlooking the water. The property is handicap accessible with both ramps and stairs, making it easy for everyone to enjoy. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Assistant Manager Taylor. He made me feel extremely welcome and even recommended a lunch item from the menu. I took his advice and ordered the Pork Ribeye Sandwich, and it was absolutely amazing. On the side, I had a salad with their homemade ranch dressing. Without a doubt, this is some of the best ranch dressing I have ever had. The bartender, Cody, was outstanding as well. I tried the Lime Margarita, Blackberry Mojito, and the Strawberry Basil drink. Every one of them was fantastic. You can tell this is a place that people genuinely enjoy working at. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the customers all seemed happy to be there. It's rare to find a restaurant that gets everything right, but Avenue Pub comes very close. My advice, find a seat, have someone order at the order window, then head to the bar to order drinks. The wait to order food took about a half hour. It was very quick to get our drinks. We were able to snag a couch area on a platform. It was so comfy and we loved the views. A heads up- if you snag a couch like this, kids will get up on the platform and jump off of it. People will step up on the platform and walk extremely close to you. I had to ask a kid to stop throwing sand by us because we were eating our dinner. It was a little chaotic. We were extremely patient and understand, but I could see some people being very upset and annoyed. After ordering, our food came out pretty quick. I started with the coconut grouper bites and they were phenomenal. Light breading, lightly sweat, and flaky. I had the Gulf Grilled Cobia and it was phenomenal. The fish was tender, flaky, and light. No fishiness at all. The sauce on the fish was also delightful. My husband and son had the fajita skewers and both enjoyed them. My husband also had the peel and eat shrimp and said they were amazing at The Gulf. Our drinks were okay. We had better drinks at other places during the week, but they weren't bad. We would return, but try to come on an off-time that wasn't so busy.

This joint is an all outdoor patio seating all the time joint covered with a tent so be prepared if you can't handle it to go somewhere else. The also have a beach area on the Ole River which has some picnic tables. If there is space you can pull your boat up and dock right next to the restaurant. The service here is far better at Flora-Bama Yacht Club than next door at Flora-Bama Ole River Grill. This place is really popular so there is often a wait to get seated at a table while bar seating is open but that can also fill up fast during high season. They have a concise menu here that focuses on seafood and sandwiches along with a few out of the ordinary surprises that you usually don't find in most of the other area restaurants. I've had the Mahi-Mahi Reuben which was alright but I think I would've preferred one of the fish entrees much more. The fried seafood ranges from some of the spiciest and best tasting I've ever had to more bland so that is inconsistent. Of late the fried seafood options have really DECLINED with zero spice and they have stopped offering oysters on the menu. The fried chicken tenders have declined to the point they are simply awful now and have zero flavor. My favorite things on the menu here would be the Triple-Tail on top of a bed of green beans and then they have the BEST chocolate cake in the area with their Double-Decker Tuxedo Cake (don't bother with the cake next door at Flora-Bama Ole River Grill as it doesn't compare to this one). The burger here could stand some improvement as I like a New Orleans style big and thick patty that is full of juicy delicious beef flavor. They also have a gift shop here that carries some merchandise that they don't have across the street in the original Flora-Bama gift shop and some of the Yacht Club merch is also not listed on the main Flora-Bama online website while some of it is so you really have to visit the Yacht Club gift shop to see the full selection. Some Flora-Bama shirts have "Flora-Bama" in a large print then have a smaller different logo underneath for the three main spots of the original Flora-Bama, Yacht Club and Ole River Grill. None of the shops in the area carry the little round batteries you need if your car remote dies... don't ask me how I know as it was a painful experience. Overall Flora-Bama Yacht Club has been one of my favorite spots to grab a meal in the area and its a perfect location to eat before heading over for the live music at the original Flora-Bama. The recent decline in the food this season is concerning to me. Flora-Bama continues on its conquest of Perdido Key and the rest of the Redneck Riviera so I fully expect them to take over the region soon and then we can have Flora-Bama World... well somebody should probably write a song about that at least.

I'd never had grits in fried patties like that but man oh man, scoop you up some of that creamy sauce with it & Lord have mercy it was amazing! Unfortunately I also got a small salad before my meal & didn't have room to finish my entree but I definitely brought it home with me. The salad bar was probably the best I've had - those croutons! Yum! The ranch was good too - if like ranch then you know how different they can be - this was the good ranch! My husband got the pork chop & he said it was really good! My son got the creole linguini pasta & said it was great. It looked to be well seasoned & packed full of flavor! I forgot to get a picture of his. While I don't have any little kids, they did have a neat little play area for them with sand. Outside bar (the drinks were a little pricey in my opinion, my husband's small margarita was like $15 - I stuck to tea lol. They have a nice long dock that you can walk out on, the sunset was pretty. The waitstaff was nice, the only thing I'd suggest is for the host staff to be a little more welcoming & friendly. I know they probably get tired of the lines of people & having to repeat the same thing over & over but I'm sure most everyone they encounter is experiencing that establishment for the first time. First impressions are so important & your staff can make or break you. Luckily, the food is so good that I could overlook that in this case. I'd definitely recommend this place!

We had an amazing breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Orange Beach! From the moment we walked in, everything was excellent. Our server, Tristan, was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. He made sure we had everything we needed and really made the experience even better. The drinks were all fantastic. The coffee was fresh and flavorful, the hot chocolate was rich and delicious, and the orange juice tasted fresh and was the perfect way to start the morning. One thing I really appreciated was their gluten-free menu. It's great to see a restaurant offering so many options for people with dietary restrictions. The gluten-free pancakes were surprisingly fluffy, full of flavor, and honestly some of the best gluten-free pancakes I've ever had. The chicken and waffles were absolutely incredible. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. It was easily one of the best things we ordered and one of the best chicken dishes I've had at a breakfast restaurant. The restaurant was clean, had a welcoming atmosphere, and the food came out quickly even though it was busy. Every part of the meal exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for an amazing breakfast or brunch in Orange Beach, this is the place to go. Great food, excellent service from Tristan, and plenty of options for everyone. We'll definitely be coming back the next time we're in town! read more

Zero stars for this place. The food was either burnt or cold, my mimosa tasted watered down and it seemed like the staff couldn't get along. I could hear yelling from the kitchen. I asked to see the manager but she never came by. There was also a lot of discussion of drugs between the staff. There was one person, she wore a bright green shirt and a hat, she was trying to advertise her "side business". I don't know what kind of business these people are running but I would never go back. read more
