The place was clean and comfortable, and staff were polite and professional. Coffee was delicious. We ordered a latte and a cappuccino to go, along with a blueberry muffin. However, this is definitely not a fast food place or a fast coffee place. We had to wait an unusually long 23 minutes for our drinks, which is the longest I've ever waited for simple beverages. Despite this minor inconvenience, we still had a great overall experience at 2 Birds Coffee shop.

Their unique drinks were a hit with the kids, and even included Popsicles that were made with fresh fruit. They had tons of gluten-free options for the people in our party that needed gluten-free. The flavors and the fresh fruit were perfect complement for all the dishes. The chicken and waffles were crispy and moist. The sauce for the chicken had a mild smokey with a little spice at the end. The pancake berry melt was also amazing. The fresh fruit compote was nicely sweet and the sweet white cream complemented the pancakes. I'm so glad I found this place! It was really easy to find and had plenty of parking. The coffee shop is on the second floor, and you can either take the elevator or go up the spiral staircase. Inside, it's beautiful, spacious, and just has a really relaxing atmosphere. There's also a wraparound porch with outdoor seating. It doesn't necessarily overlook anything exciting, but it was still such a peaceful place to sit, and I could definitely see myself bringing my laptop and working here for a few hours. The staff was SO friendly every time I went. On Thursday morning there was a pretty long line, but they had several people working behind the counter and moved through it incredibly fast. Our drinks came out quickly too. I ordered iced lattes and really enjoyed them, but THE CROISSANT. I am a croissant person, and this was genuinely one of the best croissants I've ever had. Thick, buttery, soft, delicious bread and not even remotely dry. My kids loved them too, and I appreciated that each one came packaged in its own little container instead of just being thrown into a bag. They were also playing worship music every time I was there -- Abbie Gamboa and SEU and several artists I already love which made me enjoy the atmosphere even more. I also noticed when ordering at the tablet that they give you an option to donate to a local family in need, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. Great coffee, ridiculously good croissants, kind staff, quick service, lots of space and a really welcoming atmosphere. Causeway was easily one of my favorite finds of the trip, and I will absolutely be back when I am in the area this November!

Rather than order on the app, I made the mistake of walking in and trying to ask a few questions, like how many shot of espresso are in the different sizes. Ok, there are 4 in a large. She insists it's the same price in person or on the app. I had to literally show her on the app the same drink she was overcharging me for. Rather than be apologetic or at least FRIENDLY, she says well it's the same. How she can't see it's close to 2 dollars difference I don't understand. Bottom line, the attitude and blatant disregard of any customer service skills plus a very mid tier drink equals a big hard no for ever returning. As expected, the doughnuts were delicious. They were fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we've come to love from Parlor. The coffee was decent, although not quite as good as we've had at other locations. We were also a little disappointed that this location had a more limited breakfast menu than Jacksonville. The shop itself was clean and had the same fun, modern atmosphere that makes Parlor such a unique place to visit. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. The staff didn't seem very welcoming, and the interactions felt rushed. Since not all of the doughnut flavors were visible, we asked if a specific one was available, and it felt like our question was more of an inconvenience than anything else. We also noticed similar interactions with other customers while we were there. Our coffee order wasn't prepared quite right either, and the overall experience just didn't have the friendly, upbeat atmosphere we've come to expect from Parlor. We'll definitely continue visiting Parlor Doughnuts because the food is consistently excellent, but this particular location didn't leave the same impression that Jacksonville has. We're hoping we just caught them on an off day.
