We ate here based on reviews, and we were pleased. Started with a cinnamon bun since it was highly recommended. It was one of the best we have had - light, fluffy, and warm with just the right amount of cinnamon and icing. For breakfast my husband had an omelette with chorizo, onions, cheese and more with the city grits. His omelette was good and the city grits were out of this world. Loved our first visit so much, that we came back the next morning to eat again! Jason took awesome care of us. We tried the french toast, eggs, sausage (which is incredible!), biscuits and gravy and the huevos rancheros - all were spectacular. The food was great. The prices were as expected. The server wasn't on her game today. People that were sat after us, were served in less time and they had a larger group. Very unpleasant experience. On vacation and staying in Sandestin Resort, came here for breakfast on our last day. For starters, sat down to a sticky table. Even though the restaurant was not full, we waited over 50 minutes for our food. In that time, the waitress never came over to check on us, or refill any of our drinks. When she finally came to check in, she informed us the kitchen was running behind. We expressed frustration and she brought out one cinnamon roll, for a table of 5, for appeasement. When our food finally came, it made matters worse. Kids meal pancakes were cold and hard, French toast was cold and hard, and everyone's potatoes were so dry salt wouldn't even stick to them. Hats off to the MAGNIFICENT staff...Tyler (managing and setting it up for a group of 21 for breakfast!), Paula and Christina for the SUPERB job and focus they had as servers for the Sandestin Water Aerobic Gals! From the moment we were seated (4 more than anticipated)....from orders taken....from orders served...EVERYTHING was SPOT ON!! They are to be applauded for their outstanding efforts. The sad sum of our experience is we are just sitting and waiting for it to be over as we see more and more accumulating people to get in. It was so sad to see so many people waiting to be disappointed! The wait to get our food was ridiculous and there was not a special order! We waited so long for a coffee refill that we went to the waitstaff station to get our own coffee. Then we finally were able to flagged down a waitstaff person (not our waitress because even the table beside us began to believe like us that she was not coming back) to check on our kids food because it has been over 45 minutes. She offered us a refill of their OJ's like she was giving us a huge favor! What!?! Then the food arrives which was not worth the wait...at all! read more

First let me start by saying the food was great and I'll eat at Another Broken Egg again but it won't be the one in the Publix shopping center at Miramar Beach. We ordered and would recommend the French toast. Amazing!!! We had a 20 minute wait with 5 clean prepped and ready to dine tables sitting empty right in front of us. We waited 40 minutes from the time we ordered until the food arrived at our table. We had 1 refill brought by a bus boy who could tell I couldn't find my waitress. But what really chaps my hide is the fact that Another Broken Egg put a surcharge from the landlord at the bottom of my ticket. I asked my waitress what in the world this was for and she told me that it was a fee that the company is charged by the landlord so he can provide fun summer activities and parties in the parking lot for customers to enjoy. If it's for the customers and the community to enjoy then pay for it from the profits you are making. I also shopped at the Publix next door and they haven't charged me on either of my visits this week. Another Broken Egg is great just go to the one in Destin or Blue Mountain Beach. Came here on vacation. We were told there would be a 10 minute wait, which was fine. We were offered a table outside multiple times to be seated faster, but we did not want to sit outside. About 25 minutes later we were seated... outside. Our server seemed to be very overwhelmed and was MIA for most of our time there. Ordered two appetizers and they never showed up. Food took about 35 minutes, which would have been okay had we gotten the appetizers we ordered or some refills. 5 of the 6 in our party really enjoyed their meal, so overall we were happy enough. I have never had such terrible service like this anywhere else in my life before. We sat at the outside bar. The restaurant was busy but not crazy. We sat down, it took quite while before Lorain the bartender even acknowledged us. When she did we gave her our drink order. We watched make a least 5 other orders which the she had to ask us again what we wanted to drink. We told her again she made two more orders before bringing ours. We had to call her back over to tell her we were ready to order. She put our order in asking me questions across the bar for it. When ore oder came we were thinking, oh the rest is still coming. My sister and I ordered lemon blueberry pancakes and a skinny omelet, or so we thought. We were half way through but the time Lorain came to check on us. We asked about the omelet and she said she didn't order one. My sister placed the complete order for both of us. She offered to order it, but they then we were done. If we lived here, we would NEVER be back. After a long wait for our food, and I mean long, the French toast and eggs were cold. I told our server, who was just okay, and he took the plate, along with the silverware, to remake it. The server once stopped by our table and mumbled that they would have the manager over. Well, he never came. After another long wait, and everyone was long finished with their food, my French toast arrived. It was not really that hot, it was sort of dry inside and tough, and the eggs were nothing special. It was also returned without silverware. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! read more

Overall it was a plain good experience. After an hour waiting a Sunday morning, our 4 guest table was ready. We had a latte each one of us and right away we ordered so that we could minimize waiting time. Coffee arrived cold and 20 minutes after ordering, water has a disgusting plastic taste. This place seemed fine we were told it would take 30-45 minutes before we would be seated ended up being an hour wait and then after we told them we wanted to be seated inside they put us outside mind you it's 90 degrees and humid. Will never come back. Their so called "program" that's supposed to help with seating is complete bull wouldn't recommend this place if you want to get the go around in order to be seated!!! read more

Underwhelming. As a rule of thumb chain restaurants tend to set the bar pretty low for quality food but the reviews in the Destin, Bay Wharf, and this location drove us to try it (oh, and Mama Clemenza's was closed for the holidays!). Food quality and taste=pretty standard/average, not awful but for the price it needs to be stepped up accordingly. Coffee was certainly average though I am picky, particularly when paying $2.79 (granted, getting a great cup of coffee around here is...difficult). Very soggy bagel on the "lobster Benedict" special. this one is pretty easy to NOT mess up... The one redeeming factor...pretty nice wait staff, hostess, and manager. When asked how the lobster Benedict was my wife said it was "ok but not the best" and the waitress promptly spoke with the manager who provided a small discount. Btw, we never expect a discount unless the food has foreign objects in it! read more

Manager seated us and took drink order. But our waiter was nowhere to be seen. Drinks came 15 minutes later and food arrives after 40 minutes. you can't go wrong here. seriously, I have never ordered anything that was terrible. the lattes are amazeballs and everyone loses their ish over the mugs that are like pottery...the Sunday brunch is redonk and the drinks are stupid good. kids love it here because they have pancakes and everything kids like and adults like it because they literally have something for everyone. the menu is huge. the southwest chopped salad is one of the most notable salads of my entire existence. The breakfast potatoes are sinful and the crab eggs Benedict is spot on...with andouille and hollandaise, yum yum and then some! The Bloody Mary always hits the spot when I need some hair of the dog and the regular coffee is, I'm told, very good too. If you are here in the off season, this place is even better because it's relatively dead...my fave...also, outside seating is awesome and they close at 2:00, so get up get out and get you some! read more
