Visiting a friend in the area, we were starving and decided to stop. Party of 3, we were seated immediately and the waitress was promptly taking our drink order. The decor was very nicely done, pleasing to the eye and appropriately beachy! The menu was filled with very pleasing varieties of breakfast/brunch choices, new and surprising combinations along with traditional favorites. We all happily filled our bellies and enjoyed our meal choices...the English muffin was a little heavy/chewy and I prefer mine a little lighter, but very good! read more

Visited this location twice on the same week. 1st time our food took hour and twenty minutes to be served. 2nd time we didn't even got our food. We waited two hours and our food was not ready. By the way we were just a party of 4. Their excuse was that a party of 25 got in before us, yet the table right next to us got there 20 minutes after we did and guess what? They got their food first. Kept hearing about this place but never got around to stopping in. Rectified that mistake and will definitely be back! So many great sounding dishes make decisions hard but I am not sure you can really mess it up since everything we ordered was so good. The city grits with Brie and Bacon would have made me happy just by itself but it was just part of this wonderful brunch. Omg! Where to begin. My spouse and I come here every Saturday. I highly recommend requesting Laura as your server or sitting at the bar if that's where Laura is working when you visit. Laura always leads us to the best possible decision for our meal and she is extremely knowledgeable not to mention easy to speak with. Excellent Breakfast! Monster cinnamon bun with steak and eggs super! Potatoes were great too, poached perfect eggs. Update: Ate here 3 breakfasts while vacationing, each time loved the food. Love this place! Offers both healthier options (a rare thing down south ;) and regular delishesness options. Amazon service, had a very small confusion on an order and immediately had both our waitress and the manager that was roaming right on top of it and got it fixed literally in 3 minutes. I ordered pickup while waiting for my tire to get fixed. The location closest to me was off legendary drive and located this off of Google maps. Once I selected to order pick up it transferred to the grand location. (I'm nosure how this happened) I order $48.76 worth of food. Once I arrived to pick up the food I noticed the order was placed at the wrong location with the help of the staff. The employees at the legend location were nice but couldn't help me. I called the other location and was yelled at and talked down to. The two ladies advised me they wouldn't help me I should have paid attention to where I was ordering. I attempted to tell them I was visiting and the area I was staying and got nowhere. No sympathy or care in the world. I was told to dispute the charges with my bank cause they wouldn't give me my money back. No food or services were received. Worst experience in my whole week long trip to Destin. Give your money to a place where they care about their customers. read more

Can't find fault with this place. I've eaten at other Broken Eggs in Florida and not sure if this one is just better, or I just hit on a good day, but the food was really solid. Not amazing or anything, but just really good. Eggs Benedict was prepared quite well, eggs were perfectly poached, hollandaise was good and the seared slabs of Canadian bacon were a welcome change from the little discs of ham that usually sit underneath the eggs you find on most eggs bennies. My only gripe was that in places the hollandaise seemed to be replaced by, or gained the taste and consistency of, mayo. And that was a little off-putting. I also got the potatoes done Mediterranean style, with grilled onions and feta, and those are how all breakfast potatoes should be prepared. read more

Start off, had gone to the one in Destin previously in the week and had a good experience so decided to go back. Well the one in Destin was closed due to inadequate staffing, however, we saw this location was only 20min down the road decided to go there. Put name on waitlist before we left Destin after calling to see what the wait time was (1hour for 2 people) it took 25ish min to get there. The host here had no idea what she was doing. She would seat tables then have to make multiple trips back to tables because she didn't take menus the first time. At multiple times there were 5-12 open tables with no one being sat. So finally we got sat an hour and a half after we put our name on wait list for a one hour wait. Not only did host again not bring us our menus and me personally asking before we left the host stand to get menus, she said "i'll bring em right to you honey" and then just pointed at the table and said you can take that one while she remained at the host stand. We sat at table for about 5 minutes as she took 3 other tables with menus to their seats, finally we had to get up and once again ask to get our own menus and silverware. So now we are at the table, the server comes up no smile or welcome just "what can I get you to drink?" We told order for drinks then sat there another 15 minutes and had yet to get drinks or our food order taken or even a come back to the table. We saw multiple other tables already with drinks and food ordered before we decided to just leave. Having worked in service industry for 7years I rarely just leave a restaurant or even write reviews, but this was absolutely ridiculous. After leaving we called back to speak to a manager and was told they were unable to come because they were on the floor, so asked for a corporate number to which the host put us on hold then said she couldn't get it because they had moved offices?? She said she could google it to which I replied No thank you I can do that myself. Maybe if you close one location offer staff from that one to help cover the other, especially since you're so close to each other. And how about making sure your staff is trained and your servers can at least smile, it goes a long way to a shitty start and can often times change the whole previous events. read more

I came in today with a large party of 8 without reservations. We were seated in a reasonable amount of time. The hostess, the waiter Devonate, and his mother were very pleasant. Devonate was the best. All the orders were correct and brought to us hot. Excellent service, a job well done. read more

We ordered the special brisket benedict which he thought was very well executed. I had gf bananas foster pancakes with scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. All around enjoyed it. The service was very lacking though. They missed my orange juice, did not pick up the empty plates and the server put out her hands so I could hand her the plates! I'm usually pretty good about stacking the plates and handing it over but with two kids in tow, sometimes I can't get to it fast enough but it's a bit rude to have their hands out expecting me to do their job! read more

Was down here in Florida for a small getaway for my breakfast and I love breakfast foods and trying new places. This was hands down my absolute favorite breakfast out of like 5 other places I tried down here! I recommend the hey Lucy omelette and the bananas foster pancakes! Absolutely delicious. Our waitress did not wear her mask properly the entire time we were there. It was either under her nose or under her chin. There were also a few people wearing the gator masks which have proven to not be safe. I just hope the cooks were wearing masks while preparing the food. The name catched my attention while I was on a work trip, but the breakfast blew mind. The staff was so wonderful, and offered us souvenir cups. It was incredible and what made it even more incredible is the fact that their I was able to have that incredible breakfast off of their GLUTEN FREE MENU!!! What!! Yes you heard right, delicious fluffy homemade pancakes, tasty toast, and the best Gouda grits I've ever had!! Their main menu has so many amazing dishes but what I loved is their gluten free menu had almost just as many options!! (The mimosas and bloody Mary's were super tasty too!) Our waitress Carrie, was super sweet, and so helpful in making our first time here awesome!
