I went to my cousins graduation party the service I experienced at this restaurant left me utterly unsatisfied. We were crammed shoulder to shoulder and had to pull up two seats since I had a table for 12 people and they offered us seating for 10. We explained our situation to the server and requested a different table. She continued by telling us that the manger would soon arrive. She returned to the table after a 45-minute delay. My mom called but was blatantly disregarded when she asked her to call the manager. The manager was eventually brought when we asked a different waitress to do so. The manager informed us that she was reluctant to intervene. The reservation was for 10, so she had her back to the wall. Because the reservation was for 10, even though my aunt had constantly assured them it was for 12, she had her back to the wall. We got up and left; I'm not coming back! However today was the worst...server was borderline rude and didn't respond to normal pleasantries (I.e. thank you/ you're welcome). I'm pretty sure she forgot to put our order in and then lied to cover it up. We waited 45 minutes with a hungry toddler, when food came out she had forgot something from each of our dishes. We had to ask repeatedly for things that were supposed to be on our dish. By the time we got it all food was cold. Server never apologized or offered to comp our food. I purchased a gift card because I wanted to celebrate my son's thirty-first birthday at a nice restaurant. We ended up going somewhere else because the wait time was too long. I have made numerous attempts to order online from them and the card does not work. I have called their corporate office and you can't get anyone on the phone. I've reached out to the local restaurant and left a comment a week ago on their Facebook page. They have not even responded to my comment. Very disappointed. read more

This is one of those places that you REALLY want to like. Great menu and great charm. I was ready for an awesome breakfast with family and friends, but I just have to be honest. This wasn't impressive. Everyone's eggs were cold and dry when they got to the table (which for omelettes, makes a huge difference). The coffee was good - I'll give them that, but when our friend ordered a half-caf, the waitress brought out a regular coffee and told her she would bring a half full cup of decaf for her to mix herself... wtf? The mugs were not easily poured at all so she was making a mess at the table trying to mix it up. That was really odd. The potatoes were cold and hard. Service was forgetful and a little slow. I'm leaving two stars instead of one, just because i think that if the right management reads these reviews and fixes things, this could be a really great place. The main thing that pisses me off to no end, however, is the constant, and I mean CONSTANT barrage of the same groups of people that get there, get seated, and just stay for hours on end as though they own the place!! It's pretty damned rude!! Now, the food is really good and the wait staff is always on point and very courteous. We thought we would try this place out again after having a bad experience before. Nothing has changed. The chef there still does not know how to cook an egg or omelette and the food came out cold again. The omelettes are not fluffy. They come out flat and with everything scrambled in the egg instead of placed inside like an omelette should be. I ordered the crab cake Benedict and the inside of the crab cake was cold. Nice atmosphere and really good service. For an appetizer I ordered the BlackBerry Grits. Just grits with blackberries thrown on top. Sounded a lot better then it tasted, it was just bland.I then ordered the Southern Crab Stack. (Seasoned grit cake & jumbo lump crab cake topped with red bell peppers, green onions & a shrimp & Andouille sausage sauté). This was a beautiful looking dish. As for the taste it was nothing to write home about. I only ate a small portion of this. The butter sauce and toast were good. Despite all of the ingredients from the veggies to the crab it was just bland. I'm willing to try this place again in the future, just not anytime soon. read more

We got there and they said a 30 minute wait. After 35 minutes we asked how much longer. They said another 30 minutes at least. There were several empty tables. We were a party of 4. They said they wouldn't sit us at a larger table in case a larger party came in. We were with my husbands elderly parents, dad walks with a cane. It's ridiculous when restaurants won't seat you because you don't fit the table and you stand there hungry, possibly very uncomfortable (I mean if you need a cane to walk) while they seat others or just wait for someone else to come in after you've been waiting for 30 minutes.
