    Fried oysters

The place is inviting and quaint. The service was friendly and fast! The fried oysters were cooked perfectly, and the grilled shrimp wrap was absolutely delicious! The french fries are crispy. Yes, I recommend this place.

The Beignets * soooo flaky! Delicious!

Quickly seated on a busy Sunday at Brunch time. Excellent beignets! Flavorful potatoes with my delicious classic eggs benedict. My kiddo loved his kids pancakes that were really fluffy and smelled yummy! I'll definitely be back!

This is the fabulous crook, Madame with a side of bacon so very over the top

Drake was our server and he was on top of his game the whole team pitches in to make sure you have excellent service and the food is beyond fabulous. We drive from Texas to come out and eat.

Acadiana Breakfast Sandwich with Cheesy Grits

My family and I had a nice breakfast at this French Press Location. Upon walking in, it was busy but we still got seated immediately. I got the Acadiana Breakfast Sandwich which had boudin in the middle alongside a bowl of cheesy grits. It was tasty and filling. My husband got their shrimp and grits and it came with several larger sized shrimps. The service was very quick and attentive, and we'd love to come back to try other items.

The food here is always top notch. Delicious. Scrumptious. Fabulous. The truffle fries are to die for. The Cajun Benedict (mygo to every time) is definitely something to try as it is like 100 tiny h**kers dancing on your tongue good. The service is always on point. I remember PJ at the downtown location always giving excellent service. Both locations have a wonderful vive. Do not miss Justin's creations AAAAA++++++

This was our first time eating here. We drove in from Alexandria LA. We started off with 2 appetizers the truffle fries and the praline bacon. They both were delicious. My friend and I ordered the Cajun Benedict. Toasted French bread, boudin patty, American cheese, 2 poached-medium eggs topped with our chicken & andouille gumbo. We both enjoyed our meal. It was quite delicious. Our other friend ordered the chicken and waffles. Fried chicken strips tossed in LeBlancs Cane Jelly on top of a cheddar waffle. She enjoyed her meal as well. I had a POINSETTA mimosa and the had the french press mimosa. Both drinks were great. Our server was very nice and pleasant. We didn't want for anything. She made us feel cared about. The atmosphere was calming very peaceful to eat here. I would recommend coming here to eat again.

We had to wait a little bit due to the restaurant being packed around 9:30 ish but it was definitely worth the wait for the food. The staff were super attentive and very welcoming . It was every nice clean environment.

Great breakfast! I got the andouille & shrimp omlette with grueyere cheese. It was so delicious, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The beignets were awesome too!

    Breakfast egg Benedict

Yummy!!!! I went in at almost noon on a Sunday brunch and there was a busy crowd but no wait time.; solo do sat at the bar. Ordered the egg Benedict and it was fabulous although I paid for it later with heartburn. But next time I know to bring a "TUMS". Wish I lived closer to try everything on the menu bc the food coming out the kitchen looked wonderful.

    Chicken and waffles

Went for brunch during a weekend trip to Lafayette on the recommendation of my Airbnb host. The food was phenomenal, I'm a connoisseur of chicken and waffles and this was probably the best ones I've ever had. The chicken was fried to perfection, so juicy and tender and the pepper jelly it's tossed in was the perfect combo of spicy and sweet. I was a little apprehensive of the cheddar cheese on the waffle but wow that put it over the top, more places should jump on that train. My friend had the crab cake eggs Benedict with potatoes and she said it was delicious and ate the entire portion. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts was because it took a very very long time to order, get our food, and get our check. We were there an hour and a half. However, our server was doing his best, he was running the bar completely alone while also serving tables so it's not his fault. It seemed like they were short staffed. Normally a long wait time wouldn't bother us but we had somewhere to be and didn't anticipate that we'd be there so long. It's okay though the food was worth it all!

    Eggs Benedict with cheddar grits!

Met by friendly service, the atmosphere somewhat modern. I ordered the eggs Benedict with cheddar grits which I'd consider pretty good with a nice presentation. Nothing over the top impressive, but recommended if in the area.

My friend and I both loved the grits, as it was hot, buttery, and laced with pieces of corn kernels. We also really enjoyed the fluffy biscuits, warm beignets, and sticky cinnamon rolls. Usually cinnamon rolls tend to be too dry but the one at Parish was super moist and smothered in that ooey gooey cream cheese icing. I also appreciate the option to customize and swipe out sausage meats and veggies. Case in point, I was able to get the eggs benedict with turkey sausage instead of ham. Even though there is a bit of a line at the door, the meals come out fast and hot once your order does get placed. The drinks were pretty standard but my friend really enjoyed his espresso martini and my Paloma mimosa was sweet and packed with flavor. All in all, I really enjoyed every dish and I can't wait to come back and try more things!

Once we finally found it, we were very happy both because - yay we found it - and it smelled so yummy inside. I love a breakfast place with a full bar too. Drinks before 10am, yes, please! So, we get in line to order our yummer biscuits. I like places that have counter type service where you pay for your food and sit. It can make it easier when you have a big group or in a hurry. I ordered the fried chicken hot honey biscuit, the Cameron! ahh hot honey! I would have ordered the crawfish one, because I so those coming out of the kitchen, and holy hell! It just wasn't crawfish season when I went, so noseys to ordering crawfish out of season. I also ordered alcohol, because why not. I got the most amazing Irish coffee! It the predecessor before all these martini espresso followers. I took a very messy and sticky bite of my hot honey chicken biscuit - which was huge by the way - and I was in bliss! I really liked everything about this place. And it was all so clean and the staff were friendly too. I will be back next time I am in town to try more of those biscuits and maybe another Irish coffee? :-)

There's no host stand or clear seating system, so the entrance felt chaotic. We weren't sure what to do until a nice local told us to just grab a table. After sitting down, it took about 5 mins for a waitress to stop by with the menus. The menu includes both breakfast and lunch items, but the ordering process is confusing. We were told breakfast orders would be taken at the table and lunch needs to be ordered separately at the cafeteria style counter. My husband went to the counter to order lunch while I stayed behind, waiting for the server to return with drinks and take our breakfast order, she never did. The smothered pork dish looked worse than school cafeteria, and unfortunately tasted like it too. It was overly salty and the pork had a weird taste to it. Since we had already paid for the lunch item upfront and still hadn't been able to place breakfast order, we decided to cut our losses and went to another restaurant. Overall, wasted 35 mins and left frustrated and disappointed, definitely won't come back!

The main issue here is the overall service experience and the food quality. The interior is old school but immediately chaos; there is a Luby's style ready serve food line and tables as well for dine in. We didn't know but apparently you just find a table and sit down, we were standing around waiting to be seated for a bit. Apparently you order lunch plates at this hot food line and then order breakfast via your server at the table. This makes no sense. We waited 35 minutes for staff to take our breakfast order and beverages unsuccessfully, so I went up and ordered a lunch plate of smothered pork and just paid up front. The guy working the ready made food line was also pretty rude and didn't want to be there; great! It was definitely below Treebeard's level and was very salty and not very flavorful. The sauce that they poured on the rice was extremely salty as well. Meh food quality and the absolute chaos of the brunch dining experience made the brunch meal very unenjoyable for our group. We left afterwards and went to another restaurant to eat.
