Nice, eclectic place for breakfast or lunch outside the norm. Make sure you make reservations well ahead of your arrival, as there is ALWAYS a line. read more

One of my favorite breakfast places in town. Usually a wait so go early or there is an app you can use to get a spot on the list. If you go make sure you get the biscuit beignets. Every thing I have tried has been good but my favorite is the lobster and brie omelet. read more

The wait is crazy, there are a ton of people waiting every time we go, I just was there once because we had made plans with some friends. The food was good but a bit overpriced for my taste. Lots of parking space. read more

This is my favorite breakfast spot in town! The food is always so amazing and the service of the hosts and servers is always pleasant! Would recommend to anyone visiting the area, you can't go wrong at this place! read more

Let's start this off with if you join the waitlist in person you get skipped until anyone who joined the waitlist through yelp gets sat first, was too 30-45 min to wait ended up waiting about an hour. Then it took about 8-10 min to get drinks. Then when I was tired of waiting for my food to show up I asked to get it in a Togo box because I had to get to work. I did not get it in Togo box had to go inside to get the Togo boxes myself. And then the grits I got was over cooked and my French toast was legit just a thick piece of bread with a small layer of egg on the outside no flavor or anything to it. This was a horrible experience. read more

The service was absolutely awful we checked in and waited 40 minutes to be seated in which we had to go remind them since they forgot about us. They sat us outside in the pouring rain and didn't take our order and refused to move us inside. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Staff was terrible and disorganized and I'll not go here again. read more

I wish that I could of given more than five stars. It's hard to get excited about a breakfast and brunch place, but this place in JAX Beach was over the top. Very, very clean. Well trained and very friendly wait staff. Great food and generous portions at a fair price point. Definitely will return and not keep this place a secret. read more

As a mom hoping to celebrate Mother's Day, I asked to get on the waitlist and the hostess was not friendly at all. She said the wait was an hour to two hours which I understand, but at least make eye contact and treat a customer with respect. So, thumbs down on customer service. read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe is Awesome! We were visiting family for the weekend and staying at the Indigo Hotel (which is about 300 yards for ABEC. We used the no wait Yelp option and were seated fairly quickly considering it was a Saturday morning. This place is really busy and it is a good idea to plan ahead and make a reservation or be prepared to wait an hour. Whatever your wait, it is worth it. The portions are more than generous, the service is fast and friendly, and the food is amazing! We will be back! read more

Best breakfast spot in Jacksonville! Try to go on a week day though so you can actually get a table! Their eggs Benedict is one of the best I've ever tried! read more

I sat at the counter, otherwise the wait would be impossible. Food was imaginative and good, there's full bar service and interesting cocktails, but the crowds! Knocking my purse everytime people walk by is annoying...makes me think twice about returning. read more

This place is happening! I've been keeping an eye on it for a while and finally convinced my partner to get out and have brunch on a Saturday morning. First and foremost, take advantage of their waitlist app - it's key, especially considering there's no good wait area at the restaurant. We arrived and checked in with the front hostess. She told us it'd be just a few more minutes. About 10 minutes later we got to "skip ahead" of everyone who didn't use the app. We were seated on their covered patio - it was overcast so tolerable but I could see if getting extremely hot and stagnant (the fans don't do much). Our server Randall greeted us and We ordered a couple cold brew coffees to start. After looking over the menu I went with the cinnamon role French toast with eggs and bacon. You definitely need the eggs and bacon to breakup the overwhelming sweetness of the French toast! It has a bananas foster caramel-esq sauce all over which is delicious but makes it TOO sweet in addition to the whipped cream and fruit. My partner got the fried chicken and waffles with the honey chipotle sauce on the side. He wasn't overly impressed as the chicken wasn't seasoned very well (compared to other places) and the sauce wasn't what he was hoping for - he opted for regular syrup. Overall, we both left stuffed and we'd go back just to be served by Randall- she was one of the best servers we've ever had! Will definitely try and omelet or the blueberry lemon pancakes next time - they looked awesome! read more

This breakfast place is not your ordinary breakfast place. First, food is fantastic!!!! Beignets- get them! They are on the messier side but worth the mess especially with the orange marmalade! I had the Bacquezo Omelet with City Grits. I'd give a pic. But I ate everything clean off my plate! The omelet had cream cheese and chorizo in it and the grits had smoked Gouda folded in and topped with bacon crumbles and fresh tomatoes. I went on a Sunday at 9am and they were already on a wait. They have innovative breakfast/brunch libations. The coffee is a darker roast and fantastic! Definitely made me a regular! read more

Clearly a popular, new breakfast desitination but definitely worth the wait. The outdoor patio looked like a great place to sit, but with a morning rain shower we opted to sit indoors which was beautiful too though a little too cold. We were so impressed with the menu selections, it was almost too difficult to choose. We settled on some breakfast appetizers of fried green tomatoes and city grits. Both were amazing. The city grits are really the star of the show, simply delectible, Creamy, smoked gouda grits, loaded with garlic (we had a few full cloves in ours), bacon, diced tomatoes, and green onions. The fried green tomatoes included a genrous portion of small, tangy, perfectly breaded and drizzled with a delightful sauce with goat cheese on a bed of fresh spinach and a crab cake centerpiece. The Floridian omlette was so good, filled with cream cheese and topped with a nice portion real crab meat, flavor sort of like a crab rangoon. The omeltte was so fluffy and perfectly cooked. We also tried the sweet potato pancake, which was so delicious with the pecans on top. We liked the local hot pepper sauce on the table and the really cute, locally handcrafted coffee cups. Sadly we did not get a coffee refill which was the only service point that was lost. The coffee was so good, we would have liked more. The only part of our meal that was not perfect and kept me from going the full five stars was the Mediterranian potatoes. For an upcharge these were really not any better from the regular potatoes. They were overcooked with onions that were burnt to a char and huge lumps of feta cheese that was really too overpowering. This was the only dish that we did not devour. We will definitely be back, but if we are going to sub a side, it will be for the delicious city grits. If I could have give partial stars for this review it would have been 4.75. Maybe next time. read more

Amazing food the Stan's Mardi Gras omelette is so good. I couldn't waste a bite of it. Seasoned potatoes went very well with the dish. Biscuits and gravy are so good as well. I will be back here again. I hope this place stays the same. If you're on SS this is a must try place for breakfast I don't know about lunch. If I try lunch I'll update my review. read more

I'm pretty big fan of this place. You must get the pancakes. Last time I get the steak Benedict and a pancake they were both on point. The service can be slow at times but it's a small restaurant and the staff is really nice. I recommend trying it out on Saturday or Sunday but be patient wait times can be long. read more

This place is the jam. The mimosas are basically straight champagne, the bloody mary is better than most, and the food is consistently good. The only bad thing I can say about it is that I wish there wasn't always a wait. It often deters us from making it our Sunday brunch spot even though it's literally across the street. read more

Down for the weekend from Pennsylvania. Stumbled on this place for Sunday brunch. Great food, really nice staff. Worth the 40 minute wait to get seated. Owner came over and actually cared about his customers. A gem! read more

I ate here twice this past weekend and really enjoyed their omelets. The service quick and the waitress was attentive and friendly.

Just had a wonderful breakfast with my favorite 1 year old. I've been multiple times and can honestly say it is only a great experience when Sara is my waitress. She is simply the best. She brought him a yogurt before I even ordered his meal. She obviously knows kids need instant satisfaction. Thank you Sara for a wonderful experience :). Oh and the breakfast was yummy too :) read more

Everything I've gotten here has been delicious, good on the eye and good on the stomach. I love their omelettes and their potatoes are divine. I love gathering all my girlfriends together and doing brunch. I would definitely try their beignets, mostly for the incredible orange marmalade that I dream about. read more

I've been here a few times.. service is great, but the food comes out very slow. Also they left off the avocados on two of our meals. Food is pretty good when it eventually makes it out to you, just make sure to leave extra time. Our server brought us these fried things because it was taking so long.. that was probably the highlight. read more

Just got back from brunch here with my wife. Excellent service and food, we were seated right away and our waitress was excellent. Better than what I expected for a brand new restaurant, and way better than the crappy service at nearby Corner Bistro. Inside seating is limited, so we sat outside on their spacious patio and enjoyed a Hey Lucy omelette and Benedict biscuits with some biscuit beignets. Highly recommend, we will be back soon! read more

Although the food is good, some of the staff are really rude and disrespectful!!!!! The girl on the front (I been told that her name is Rihama) is really rude, biased and unprofessional, We used to be a frequent customer for this place but we will never visit again, take your money to a place where employees are trained and respectful!!!!!!! read more

This restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, and the coffee cups are adorable. However, the Lakeshore scramble i had was dry with overcooked eggs, and the home fries tastes and looked like "simply potatoes". The food just wasn't up to par, and despite the great atmosphere and service, cute cups just can't save that bland coffee. read more
