Food menu has all the basic stuff you would expect at a bar/ brewery. We got 2 flights (total of 8 beers / ciders), fries and a hot honey pepperoni pizza. It is really awesome to be able to try so many varieties to find what you like! Pizza is decent (wish it was cooked just a bit longer) and fries are delicious. Pesto Chango Chicken Pizza - the cheese to pesto and chicken ratio was a bit off on this one and it could have probably used a little pesto drizzle on top and a bit more chicken on the pizza. The taste was there but it was so overwhelmingly cheesy that it could have been a cheese pizza. I'd be willing to come back and try it again, maybe it was just an off day! Haven't been to Bottlenose in a while. I was surprised at how delicious the food was. Their menu has grown. The bevarian pretzel with hot mustard and beer cheese was amazing. Rich chocolate flavor with mint backdrop. GRAPEFRUIT IPA - I would drink this all the time if I lived in Jacksonville. Perfect balance of flavors and refreshing. It is also a good food pairing beer. PINA COLADA GOLDEN ALE - Coconut explosion I'm your mouth. I like the first few sips but then bece overwhelmed with coconut. I think it could be better balanced. Food menu isn't large but more extensive than some pubs and certainly more amped up. SWAP FRIES - OMG, don't miss out on the swamp fries. Fries topped with roasted pork, bacon, beer cheese, BBQ sauce and bottlenose sauce. You can upgrade normal fries that come with your entree to these, which is what we did. Bottlenose Brewing is a nice local brewery that offers several of their own brews and local beers on tap. They're usually pretty empty here so service is pretty quick. They serve some small bar bites during specific hours and when they aren't serving food, they encourage you to bring in your own food which is convenient since Mellow Mushroom is nearby. We always enjoy their seasonal brews and like to come here for a quick flight. They have a variety of games and recently added some pinball machines. This isn't my favorite brewery in town but I still really like it here. They always have a good selection and variety of beers on tap so there's a little bit of something for everyone. I have a diverse group of beer drinking friends and everyone can find something they like here. They have a good amount of IPAs, stouts, sours, and some easy to drink beers. If you're a fan of coffee beers like me, make sure you try their current coffee flavored brew on tap because they rotate it frequently but have never disappointed me. They're suddenly carrying quite a few non-alcoholic brews on tap too so if you're looking for something like that this is a good place. I would definitely suggest getting a flight (they are reasonably priced too) to start if you're not sure of what to drink. It's a nice place to just go and chill with friends. Perfect for catching up and having a pseudo-early night. They have board games available and a pinball machine. Service is pretty good. The staff is friendly but they usually don't have many bartenders staffed (even on weekends) and they can sometimes get pretty slammed so bring your patience. A nice touch is that you're allowed to bring in outside food the hours that their kitchen is closed. So, during that time, you can grab some Mellow or even something from the fast food restaurants nearby to enjoy with your beer! Overall, a nice quiet brewery. I came here last night for an American Outlaws World Cup watch party and I really liked the vibe of the place when I first walked in. There's a real comfortable feeling and the staff were super friendly to me and to everyone else too. I liked how many regulars there were coming around and saying hi to everyone all night, the sense of community was really refreshing and relaxed. Now let me say that I'm not a beer guy, so I was afraid that I'd be stuck drinking Coca Colas all night, but the bartender directed me toward the Triple Jam cider and man, it hit the spot! So much so that I ended up having three of them! That may not be a lot for many people, but that represents the amount of cider/beer I drink in a year. As for the food, I got the Jalapeño Crunch burger. I ordered it with no jalapeños because they are pickled (not my thing, I prefer fresh) and my burger cooked rare. It came out with no jalapeños, but well done (no pink at all!) I decided to be a sport and try it, and surprisingly it wasn't dry or like shoe leather, so I didn't raise a stink. In fact I ate the whole darned thing and enjoyed it. Was it the best burger in my life? No. But I have a sneaking suspicion that this place has a pretty limited kitchen and probably isn't using fresh beef either. But with the sauces and toppings I enjoyed it just the same. The fries were also good and I liked the skin on potatoes for that extra earthy flavor. This is my first visit to Bottlenose. I stopped in not realizing they were having a private event. The owner, Matt, welcomed me in anyway and talked beer with me for a bit. Though a pretty small batch type brewery, Matt has at least (20) of his brews on tap. Pretty amazing for a smaller brewery. I went out of order and started with a No Moon At Midnight which can be described as a coffee stout. I was pleasantly surprised! This is a stout i would keep in my fridge. Anyone that knows me knows that i am not into sours...however, Matt gave me a sample of a orange creamsicle sour....I cant believe i am saying this but i would keep it in my fridge!! Casual damage, a NEIPA has the perfect balance of fruit up front and bitter on the back. Hazy (as it should be) this is a solid New England!! There is nothing better than a small batch brewery with the passion Matt has. This is a hidden treasure and DEFINITLY worth stopping in. read more

This is a really small, clean, and friendly Brewery. They have a lot of selections from light to Hoppy to malty to belgian to sour. They also offer a few Taps from their sister Tap Room called Green Room. They are very friendly and will let you try multiple beers. I tried the Pina Colada golden ale, the Belgian tripel, and their sister beer fruit on the bottom mango. I also tried their pumpkin ale. Even though the fruit on the bottom mango sour is very popular, I did not like it so much. But that could be because I had it after I tasted the triple. My standouts are the Pina Colada golden ale and the Belgian tripel which comes in at a whopping 10.3%. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and the patio is covered which is great for trying to social distance. It's a great Vibe, very low-key and friendly for all ages. Bottlenose has been open for about two years. They have a large selection of beer, both their own and other local & national taps. I had a flight if their house brews: Driftwood Brown, Robust Porter, General Porpoise First Coast IPA, and Pina Colada Golden Ale. All drink smooth and easy. The Pina Colada was a surprise; I don't like "fruity" beers but it was a great hot weather refreshing brew. Bottlenose has a good menu as well of flatbread pizzas, appetizers, and sandwiches. We had the kielbasa & cheese pierogis and the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. The kielbasa was well cooked and very tasty. The burger was perfectly done. The BBQ sauce was tangy and came with cole slaw (not a fan of any slaw). Burger was cooked at medium perfectly, juicy and tasty with thick cut bacon. Fries were slightly seasoned and crispy while still soft inside. Wednesdays are Ladies Nights, 1/2 off house drafts and house wine 7pm-10pm. Its Saturday evening and this place is humming with energy. People laughing..Sound offs for the football games and people doing cheers to their friendships. With lots of seating offered almost all were taken, we were fortunate and located one of the last seats at the bar. It is Oktoberfest season so they we offering a special for a Oktoberfest mug for $10 filled and in Oct refills half priced so we took 3. With mugs in hand filled up with our beers and ciders we decided to order some items from their in house menu. I chose the swamp fries which offered pork.. bacon and beer cheese. We looked at the menu briefly, went up to the bar to order, paid at the counter, and took a seat outside. We both got chicken but mine had the hot sauce on the side. It was served with corn cakes and pickles. For $8, the portion size was decent. The four chicken strips were fried to a nice brown and they were crispy. There was a hint of a burnt flavor to them that was a little off putting but not enough so that I couldn't eat them. The corn cakes were a great idea to absorb the sauce and grease from the chicken. These were surprisingly tasty. Our soft pretzel sticks were really good warm with the beer cheese and mustard. If you're looking for a nice spot for a few bites and drinks, this place may do the trick. Just don't expect much in terms of ambiance or service. read more

I really enjoyed the happy hour experience here. Monday thru Friday 3-7pm, it's $1 off drafts and wine. Very casual and laid back with a large selection of taps and well done bar food. The hot chicken bites - as well as all their food - are made from scratch and this was evident since none of the chicken chunks came in "processed" sizes or shapes. I REALLY liked these a lot and would come back just for a couple of batches of these with some beers. We also had some pretzel sticks and onion rings which were all done very well. They do offer burgers, dogs, and other sandwiches which I will definitely have to try on future visits.
