Bottlenose Brewery - IPA Heaven + A Brewmaster Who Belongs on a Stage Bottlenose Brewery absolutely crushes the craft beer game. Their IPAs are insane -- fresh, hoppy, smooth -- and my personal obsession is the Highway 1 IPA. It hits that perfect citrus-hop balance every single time. Pure liquid joy. And then you've got Garrett, the brewmaster. This man is a hop-slinging legend. A full-blown superstar in brewer form. There's honestly nothing better than getting a little drunk with the dude who actually makes the beer. Garrett's got the talent, the energy, and the attitude -- Bottlenose's very own brewery rockstar. And his baby? Buffalo Soldier. Holy. Lord. Above. Not my usual style, but this thing will Rasta your ass straight to bed. Heavy, flavorful, wild -- an absolute experience in a glass. Respect to the craft on that one. If you haven't hit Bottlenose Brewery yet, go. Great people, killer beer, and a brewmaster who deserves a world tour.

Pesto Chango Chicken Pizza - the cheese to pesto and chicken ratio was a bit off on this one and it could have probably used a little pesto drizzle on top and a bit more chicken on the pizza. The taste was there but it was so overwhelmingly cheesy that it could have been a cheese pizza. I'd be willing to come back and try it again, maybe it was just an off day! Bavarian Pretzel - Perfect!!! This really hit the spot for me. It was fluffy and delicious. I loved the beer cheese. The spicy mustard was sour/strong (too much for me personally) Came here on music trivia night and it was pretty fun! The host was very interactive and the others there were obviously into it!

Typical bar food with good quality for the cost. The real star here is the beer selection. 30+ taps and a wide variety of. The bar staff was outstanding.

Not sure if there are new owners or just new managers but the place looks much nicer now! The food was so much better now than it was last year! The chicken bites didn't taste unhealthy or make me feel gross! The fries were good! The side of fries is enough fries for 2 people! Beer options were also much better now and really great! I had 2 sours and loved both. The Jacksonville Clemson club enjoyed our time! Despite there being 35+ of us after I RSVPed for 20 we were treated with much kindness and service was still very fast

It's been a while since I've been to bottlenose, and honestly it was rather sad today. Such a limited amount of beers, tiny amount of drinks in the cooler, small crowd, and 1/3 of the tvs were turned off. The vibe was either its now a dive bar, or we're barely hanging on. It was clean and my beer was cold, so it wasnt all bad.

Kevin, Nicole and Anthony provided excellent service for us! We were able to host our annual Pumpkin Carving and Costume Contest for Halloween. This is our 4th year in a row havinh our event at Bottlenose and they always take care of us. Great appetizers and great variety of selections on brews! Always a blast when we come here!

Good beers and drinks, but the pizza is mediocre...could have more flavor. Looks better than it tastes.

Grilled cheese and flight

The flight was good, I enjoyed 3 out of 4 of the beers I selected. The Grilled cheese was dry and hard unfortunately

Look at all the taps!

This place NOSE their beer! HUGE selection of beers in tap that were brewed on premise! Food menu is decent, with some delicious amped-up pub food items. Amazing beer selection with creative recipes and its hard to believe they brew most all of it themselves. CHOCOLATE MINT STOUT - this was on point. Its a higher ABV so be careful. Rich chocolate flavor with mint backdrop. GRAPEFRUIT IPA - I would drink this all the time if I lived in Jacksonville. Perfect balance of flavors and refreshing. It is also a good food pairing beer. PINA COLADA GOLDEN ALE - Coconut explosion I'm your mouth. I like the first few sips but then bece overwhelmed with coconut. I think it could be better balanced. Food menu isn't large but more extensive than some pubs and certainly more amped up. SWAP FRIES - OMG, don't miss out on the swamp fries. Fries topped with roasted pork, bacon, beer cheese, BBQ sauce and bottlenose sauce. You can upgrade normal fries that come with your entree to these, which is what we did. Just don't tell your doctor about what you ate. FRIED GREEN. BEANS - Table next to us ordered them and theyoomed really good. I'd try them next time. JALAPENO CRUNCH BURGER - Good burgers. Jalapeno crunch was superb. I loved the fried onion texture. The jalapenos are hot! BAD MOTHER CLUCKER - Buffalo chicken sandwich. Wife ordered this and loved it (She is a buffalo chicken fanatic),

Super nice brewery in a great location! We loved this place and the atmosphere. Their staff were incredible and the beers were damn good! Would definitely go back to this place for sure!

My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.

Good food. Couple of gotchas but nothing much. Definitely will be back....

WELL, we found a great place that ticked most of those boxes, just a different view than sun and sand but that was OK! The drinks were very tasty, a mango slushy and a citrusy sour. Our "snack" was a great wood fired oven pizza called Burrata Diavola. Great vibes, great music. Fun time!!

The brewery has a really cool vibe to it, and they also have plenty of TVs where they were playing sports. I know they are a brewery and probably really good at it, but I came here for the pizza. Their selection is small but mighty. When we asked the staff what he recommended, he said all of them (not making it easy buddy). Since they are on the smaller size, we decided to get three and planning to take home some leftovers. My favorite by far was the Pancetta Garlic pizza. At the beginning I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of garlic, but damn was I wrong. The garlic was cooked to perfection and literally melted in your mouth. I don't think I've ever seen a similar pizza anywhere else, and made it even more surprising. Frankly the other two we had were also very delicious, but I truly give it the top spot to the prosciutto garlic. Last but not least, I like that they had THC on the menu. As someone who no longer drinks alcohol, it is nice to see other options available on the menu.

Unfortunately, I'm not in the area that much, and only once did I make the journey just to come here. What is the draw, you may ask? Great beer, great food, great atmosphere, great vibes! , That said, every meal I have had here has been delicious. The beer is pretty darn good & cold too! Of course, with the long drive...ya gotta limit it. But it's worth it for anything on the menu. I don't know where to start food-wise, I am trying to eat my way around the menu. The gator tail and fish dip are two of my favorites for small bites/appetizers. The Elk burger, the Taphouse burger, and the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich are always amazing....and then there's the cole slaw...yummy! Delicious food, and they have more than just sandwiches. The menu offers a little something different. The atmosphere and vibe are always inviting, and the staff is super friendly. The prices are fair, portions are ample, and there is plenty of parking. The decor is fun too! Not to mention, they give a veteran discount with proof of ID. What more can you ask for? Well, I know what I can ask for! To the owners: pretty please, with sugar on top, consider opening a location in St. Augustine. Not in the downtown area, but the folks north of town need something; they need you! Around the Palencia & Kensington area, off US 1 to be exact...or anywhere nearby in that area. The folks there would love something they can walk to, ride bikes to, maybe even use a golf cart to get to...and yes, a short drive is good too. Jus' sayin'!
