Never battered or fried in a pan just sliced cinnamon roll put on a plate

I ordered the French toast cinnamon roll and it was awful they didn't even batter and pan fry they just sliced the cinnamon roll and placed on a plate usually when I go sit down it's great but I guess when I ordered it delivered they don't care. I would like a replacement done right but we'll see!!!!

The service was impeccable. The waitress, the hostess and everyone else we came in contact with were absolutely great. The eggs and bacon were good, they were your standard eggs and bacon. The hash browns were phenomenal they tasted just like french fries I couldn't get enough! We also ordered this amazingly delicious peppermint mocha coffee, so good we had to another. The pancakes were a hit or a miss. Two came is the stack one was a bit overcooked and the other was soft and fluffy. Other than that the meal and experience were nice.

They change up the menu a lot but not all things are always available. This time we tried pound cake French toast and a pumpkin crunch waffle. I also ordered a mimosa. The mimosa was too sweet and mostly syrup. We sat at the bar and the bartender seemed like he really didn't like his job. No real suggestions. Food did take quite a bit to come out. Food was hot and most was prepared as asked. Just not a super pleasurable experience in whole. Decent but not what it used to be

Another Broken Egg is probably the last of the brunch spots we've had the opportunity to try here in Jax, and it was great! While everyone has their opinions on what should be included in omelets, toppings for waffles and pancakes, and everything else regarding brunch, we enjoyed our meal! While not nearly as many options as some other places, the eggs and pancakes that we got were very tasty! We would have wished for either some lower prices, or just larger portions, in general the restaurant was clean, the service was both quick and friendly, and we had a great time!

Great service right from the start. Been awhile since been at this broken egg Started off with coffee and beignets. Then add my usual breakfast. Really enjoyed the sausage and eggs were perfect. Can't go wrong with broken egg

Got the Lobster and Brie Omelette and the Bourbon St Pancakes, both were very flavorful and delicious.

After checking out lights of st Augustine a night before we wanted to have brunch before starting to drive back to our destination. We found this cafe nearby and it really stood up to the reviews. We had the skinny omelet and tiramisu French toast with beignets. The seasonal fruits we got with the omelet were delicious ! I have never had that sweet blackberry in my LIFE. It didn't taste artificial or sugary it was as natural as it could be and fresh. The service was really good and they kept fulfilling my kids demands without any frustration. Ambience is nice and comfortable . They also have outside seating with heaters for winters.

Breakfast came highly recommended by Holly--and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, the service impeccable, and the spontaneous comedy from James, Holly, and a fellow customer made it all the more entertaining. The restaurant was also very clean and well-kept. Thank you

Food is great. Staff friendly. I will return. Clean and friendly environment. Also outdoor seating is available with screen and not. French toast was wonderful. My mom has the chicken pimento sandwich she loved it.

Came here with my friend after work to get some breakfast to set us in a food coma before we go hoke and sleep after night shift. NAHH just kidding, hahaha. We just wanted some good ole breakfast. The service was great, our waitress was very attentive to us. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, sunny side up eggs with sausage. Everything was delicious. Pancakes were big fluffy and yummy in my tummy! My stomach was happy.

Great food and great service. Always a reliable brunch option. Luv my go-to eggs benedict.

First I have to commend Christina, who was our server. A table of eight, she managed us with such grace, professionalism, and outstanding service! With a constant smile on her face, she asked us open questions and was very attentive. Not once did I have to ask for an iced tea refill because she was staying on top of it! The menu, though short with options did have a creative variety. We all tried the cinnamon roll, which I have to say was beyond, and I do mean beyond outstanding. In fact, it was the best cinnamon roll I have ever had with the toasted pecans and the sauce. WOW!! I ended up with the pancakes and eggs, and the eggs were cooked perfectly! The pancakes were were thick and had good flavor. It was a little overcooked for what I prefer, but overall, it was very good. Looking at the other options of what friends were having the food looked amazing. I am not a bacon eater, but one of our table mates had a bacon dish that she said was phenomenal. I will definitely be back

Samantha our server was fantastic and attentive to our dining experience while we were there enjoying our meal. I had the Crab Cake Benedict & my wife had the Crispy Fried Chicken over a bed of greens. Great presentation and great flavor! We also had a couple of adult beverages. I had the Mary Me (Bloody Mary) and my wife had the Espresso Martini!. Again, excellent cocktails! If visiting Jacksonville or are a resident, you need to try this place out. Great decor, vast selection of bourbon & whiskey as well as any other liquor you may desire. Great for any celebration!

Great use of earth tone of green and brown along with wood floors and walls. There is every type of seating booths, tables both small and large. You can see into the kitchen and drink station and it's done in a way that just adds to the decor. We were seated immediately with our reservation and waited on with water soon after. There is no soda served here, just their own drink blends along with alcohol drinks. We had water and decided to try their drinks another time. Everything is fresh, locally sourced and delicious. I had the jambalaya pasta and it was really good. Slightly spicy, the shrimp and chicken cooked to perfection and the "holy trinity " hit just right. My wife ordered the farmer's scramble off of the brunch menu and it was amazing as well. The true star of our meal may have been the sweet potato chips. Just the perfect crunch, the exact right amount of salty and sweet...fantastic. The fries were solid, the sauce was unique, tangy and a great accompaniment. Our lemon blueberry muffin was just a bit dry. Average in a meal that was otherwise stellar. Because they use such fresh ingredients and cook it in ways that are a bit more healthy, I left feeling full but not overly stuffed or bad. If you haven't tried True Food Kitchen, I highly suggest you do. There's something for everyone and everything is done well.

I ordered their cinnamon roll, and it was so yummy (and I'm a stickler for a good cinnamon roll)! I also ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on Texas toast with hash-browns. The sandwich was great, but will I say the hashbrowns were just OK -- I'll probably go with the country potatoes next time. The overall vibes were casual in a nice way -- nothing too aggressively themed, just a good and bright breakfast spot. Our server, Bonnie, was friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering a hodge podge of breakfast items: eggs over medium, hash browns, cheese grits, a waffle, and a blueberry muffin split and grilled. My mom got an egg sandwich with grits and vegetarian sausage (yay!). Our food came pretty quickly, and I hoovered up everything on my plate. Everything tasted the way you'd expect: just good breakfast food. The hash browns had a crisp top, which is vital for me. The malted waffle stood out the most; I could smell it the second our server walked out of the kitchen with it and I ate the whole thing, even though I frequently split a waffle and take half home for later. The muffin was good, but a special shoutout for the option to have it split, buttered, and lightly grilled. I immediately requested my mom start trying that with her own blueberry muffins next time I'm over. It's a little pricey, but what isn't these days? It sure hit the spot.

This is a great option for a (spendy) girls' night out…read more I came here with a bunch of work colleagues for dinner. The setting is lovely, especially if you are here during the sunset. Service was attentive and gracious. I started with a rose spritz, the avocado carpaccio, and the half roast chicken. The spritz was a delight. Not too sweet, very refreshing. The carpaccio was amazing with the smoked salt, and the briny caviar. My friend ordered the chips and dip, and heaven on earth is combining the two appetizers (a chip topped with avocado and then a dollop of creme fraiche/caviar). The chicken was okay. I should have gone with something else, but I panic-ordered. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't remarkable. I should have gone with a fancy salad or the lobster roll. My second drink, a glass of rose, was okay but wasn't served ice cold, a disappointment. I shared a chocolate chip cookie at the end of the meal, and it was absolutely delicious. So I went with the grilled avocado with caviar that I probably wouldn't order again... that's because the overly rich and buttery flavor of the avocado dominated the dish and muted the subtle oceanic notes of the caviar. The roasted chicken salad was pretty plain... literally just chicken and butter lettuce! It made me miss the Mulholland Drive salad. I'll still return for the ambience and excellent service... hopefully will find something better next time.

It's not a mix of flavors I'd normally think of but I ended up finishing my drink which I don't always do, even with matcha drinks. However, instead of the potatoes, being fluffy and white, they are dense in yellow, which does not contrast well with the wasabi sauce. The medallions were prepared to a perfect medium rare with very good flavor, and the toppings do not take away from the flavor of the meat. Of the three toppings available for the medallions the blue cheese is unremarkable and has a tendency to overpower the good flavor of the medallion. The service was great, and I enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere. At $50.00 this meal is a little underwhelming. However, it is not bad.
