The only reason for 2 stars and no less is because the front end staff are very courteous. I live in the neighborhood and have been a consistent customer to this place for several months. I stop by for to-go orders frequently. For some reason, they just cannot get my order right. Over 6 or 7 times they have left out something in my order. I don't order anything special, just a standard menu meal item. I don't understand where the gap is. I never complain, just call and remind them that something is missing and they reimburse me at a later date which is nice. But more than 5 times becomes unacceptable, and many customers find it unacceptable after 1 occurrence. Tried to speak with a manager over the phone but was put on hold for 15 minutes then hung up on. I understand this place gets extremely busy with 1+ hour wait times for dining in, but if you're going to have to-go options for your restaurant, find a way to be efficient or get rid of it altogether. I'm extremely laid back and have let the errors slide for a while. Management needs to get a grip on the location. Won't return. If you're willing to wait over an hour to eat here, fine, but avoid their to-go. read more

My absolute favorite breakfast spot! The lobster and Brie omelette is AMAZING. I've never ordered a bad thing from here

This is my favorite breakfast place. I Was a little disappointed because My French toast wasn't hot and my sausage was burnt. It's usually on point and delicious. read more

Tasty, tasty breakfast chain. This is the first one I've visited; staff was lively, food was good and the coffee was even better. I had the lobster and Brie omelette and my girlfriend had the veggie omelette, both delicious. Only reason it got 4 stars were the prices. A bit high for the portion sizes, also coffee for $3.50 seems pretty steep... read more

This restaurant is the worst I have ever been to, The food was cold,Orders were wrong, when we asked for no eggs they added eggs, food was burnt, and we received wrong orders, there were coffee grains in the coffee, and to top that all off there were plates that were dropped by the servers and there was a sugar packet in the tea. The manager Moe has no care in the world and did not come to the table to apologize. I have been to many restaurants and this has been the worst I have ever been to. Very disappointed in the food and quality of this restaurant would not recommend. read more

As I was on this side of town, was need for breakfast. The atmosphere was cozy, but a little on the cool side of room temperature. Presentation of the food "hit out of the park" tase of the food 4 out of 5, I requested a special order of my pancakes to be thinner than thick and they honored with no reservations. Our waiter Linda was knowledgeable about the menu. Impressed by one of the selections in their menu, "city grits" a must try. Overall Arnold says "I'LL BE BACK" read more

If you are planning to come during the weekend , be ready to wait for at least 20 mins. The staff seemed overwhelmed with the demand , and the working system was not smart, with that being said, the service was pretty bad. Very inattentive , and took a lot more than expected to even get a refill on coffee. Now let's talk about the food... My boyfriend had the salmon Benedict , and he hated it , very bland taste, the pouched eggs were not properly cooked. I had what looked like a bacon egg Benedict, mine was edible, I would say a 5of 10 on Benedict's world. The dish came with a side of potatoes( which were not too bad) Would have to think about it before returning, but to their benefit, it's 4th of July Weekend, very very busy. read more

Always so busy.... But def worth the wait. Make the line online. Wait staff isn't always the greatest, but the food is great!

This is one of the best breakfast places I have been to. We tried the breakfast signature specials and went with the option of egg Benedict, the veggie version and it was worth it. We also tried the Brie cheese, very nice option to go with. They had pancakes as well and we went with the sweet pancakes option. Would recommend going early or reserving through the no wait app. Our wait time was around 45 min on a busy Sunday. Servers were nice and responsive. Definitely going there again. read more

I ordered a lot of food to go. When I got to the bar to pay and pick up my food, I asked the lady who took my order that I would like a Bloody Mary to go as well. She was really nice. The lady told the bartender my additional Bloody Mary to go. The bartender said yes, but the bartender never did my drink. I was literally next to the bar and she knew I was waiting for my drink. She took time giving drinks and cleaning the table for the new customers. Giving menus, making hot drinks with whipped cream for the other tables, filling up soda and coffee to the people at the bar. Completely ignored me. The lady who took my order came back out from the kitchen and was surprised I was still waiting and she reminded the bartender. Bartender still took a few minutes before she did my drink, poured it on a to go coffee cup instead of the real cocktail to go container. I had to literally ask her to put some olives. She handed it to me with no apologies whatsoever. Not even a smile. Meanwhile my 70 Dollars worth of breakfast items for my family have gotten soggy and cold as well. Rude bartender or racist? Whatever it is, I'm taking my business somewhere else. read more

This was our first time here and we loved it! Bobbie was our server and she was fabulous. We will definitely be back soon.

What a Wonderful place to eat. Great Service for Sure! Thank you Bobbie for taking such good care of us!!! We will be BACK!

We'd been to Another Broken Egg a few times in Atlanta and were more than excited to see one open up in Jacksonville. The menu is the same and still great. The biscuit beignets are delish and The Floridian.... Wow. Big chunks of real crabmeat... Wow. The server was quick on her feet and very friendly. Here are my biggest complaints: The space is really small which makes Saturday am breakfast crowded with a fairly long wait which i dont mind and expect. Today our wait was quoted at 40 min but it was more than an hour. What i saw were several tables opening up but not getting bussed and cleaned for another five minutes. The turnover time was very long and more frustrating than anything was that the staff Didn't seem to be in a hurry to get the growing crowd seated as quickly as they could. They didn't seem to feel like it was a priority. I only saw one busboy for the entire restaurant and the hostesses would help clear the empty table very minimally. On a Saturday morning, i would think they would be a little more on their game. Once seated, the rest was great read more

I had the mixed berry pancakes and my husband had the lobster and grits with a Tito's Bloody Mary. Everything was amazing! Service was great. I would suggest getting there early so you don't have to wait for a table since they were very busy when we were leaving read more

Food is okay. A bit over priced. Service is about like the food. You might get your drink refilled once every 30-40 minutes

Found my new favorite breakfast place! I'm not sure why it took me so long to check this place out (ok typically it was the waits but I got a chance to go during the week and there was no wait). Being our first time they gave us complimentary beignets with a delicious orange marmalade. They were so good!! I had the French toast and I loved it! Service was excellent and the food was delicious, fresh tasting and hot. Absolutely will be back ASAP! read more

Good food and service. Unique twists on classic breakfast entrees. One drawback is parking availability. The lot is much too small for all the shops to share and there is no reserved spaces for disabled people. Also, the wait was close to 30 minutes longer than the Yelp estimate, so be prepared. read more

Alright folk. On a Saturday the wait time was 1hr 45 mins. Once seated, we finally where addressed after another 15 min wait. We waited an additional 20 mins for our food to come out when everyone's food came out my wife's food still hadn't come out yet she ordered chicken and waffles simplest meal ever ! She had to wait an additional 10 mins for her food after everyone else's came out. Once it came out the waffle was burned and the tenders where overcooked and hard. She was so hungry she ate the tenders and my waffle and we told the girl that the waffle was burned to take it back and charge us for only tenders. She didn't understand that, finally she understood and took the burned not eaten waffle off the bill. Oh and no manager came out and apologize there was no compensation overall a disappointing experience read more

Great experience at my last visit. It was busy Sunday morning but service was still great and food came out hot.

Almost everyone I know who has ever been to this place highly recommends it. Finally got the chance to check it out and was not let down. First off checked in online which made the waiting game smooth. Arrived less than an hour before close without any issues or attitude from the extremely helpful staff. The food came out looking extremely good and tasted just as good as it looked! Ordered the Floridia omelet and my girlfriend ordered the Supreme omlete. Had a chance to try both and they both left us satisfied. Very tasty and cooked well. This place is topping my list of brunch spots! Definitely give it a try. read more

This place does NOT offer curbside we called twice in advance to confirm they do however when we arrived to get the food they insisted they did not offer this service even though online it says it does and even though they hostess who answered the phone said they did this is just a dishonest practice to get you to pay online and then tell you they don't offer the service after you've waited 30mins. It's a shady business practice and should be stopped immediately. read more

I would give no stars if able! This place used to be decent for breakfast. We went and put our name on the wait list. We were told it would be approximately 30 minutes. When we checked in the hostess told us it was only another 10 minutes. At 1 hour later, we were still waiting. FOR A TABLE OF 2?!?! We asked again and were told if we checked in with Yelp, we would have been sat sooner. We get bump people waiting in a table for YELP users. Very POOR customer service to say the least. We will never come back. Their place needs to know how to inform customers and treat them well. And to top it off they were letting people walk in without any masks or anything. No accountability at all. Management needs to look into these issues. read more

Delicious. This menu is large, and I get overwhelmed trying to choose what to eat for breakfast/lunch (although it's almost always eggs benedict, bacon, and home fries). I normally do not like grits, but their city grits are so tasty. The staff here is always so sweet. I only give this 4 stars just because it is very similar to many other breakfast/brunch restaurants. It's a great place, with great food, but nothing super extraordinary. Regardless, I definitely recommend! read more

This was our first visit to this establishment, we normally go to another restaurant for Sunday breakfast/brunch. Needless to say food was good, waitress was much to be desired! The waitress was training a new hire.... personally I think the new hire was a better waitress then the one doing the training. From the beginning she constantly forgot everything, coffee we ordered, beignets we ordered came after our meal, napkins we asked for were taken to the table behind us, then taken from them and given to us, did not remove trash from table, and one of the most important things....never ever asked us if we wanted anything or refills of any kind. Needless to say we were NOT impressed. read more

Came to Another Broken Egg for lunch, and yum!! Ordered the Turkey Panini and was given the complimentary first timer beignets! They alone will bring me back! The panini was amazing and so much food. Eating out inside a restaurant is a treat for me. I have been to this location a few times now. I think the food is more like a 4.7. Poached eggs are always very good, sauces on the dishes are good, the apple French toast was not bad/not the best either. However, the server asked which side I wanted w/ French toast. I did not see these as included with the dish on the menu, so I asked if these were included and she said "yes, they are included". I get my check and it seemed higher priced than what I originally saw, but being in a hurry I noticed later in the day several dollars were added to French toasts extra items I would not have otherwise ordered. Like I said eating out is a treat and I am budget conscious so I do not think it was right that she sold me overpriced dish as if sides were included in the price. "Would you like to add any sides for additional cost?" Is not offensive and should have been used instead of what sides do want with dish and verbally agreeing they are included with meal price. I am not in a hurry to go back there now and if there is a next time I will just leave less tip if server does this again. I don't need to waste time arguing over bill. read more

We wanted to try this place for quite somentime, the reviews on Yelp were good but it was a dissapointment I irder eggs benedict, classic, the eggs were over cooked, the english muffin wasn't fresh, the ham was hard, and the worse, the hollandaise sauce was horrible My wife ordered some waffle sliders, they were just ok, not enough to say that she would ordered them again The service was horrible, we waited almost 7 minutes and had to ask twice who was the waitress assigned to our table, after we got a server she would walk by us and not even looked at our empty cups Definitely would not go back read more

Nice outdoor pup friendly seating and helpful staff. Good food, soooo convenient to my hotel!

This place is a weekend staple in our home. I have tried everything from the hey Lucy omelet, Various types of eggs Benedict, lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes, and the fried green tomato BLT. I haven't had anything that is not delicious. Also, try the city grits! Even, if you don't like grits, these are blended with Gouda and are super creamy, topped with bacon bits and green onions and are a must have when I come here. This place is super busy on the weekends as it is a perfect brunch spot since they serve quite the variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic specialty morning beverages. Expect a wait if you go between 10 am and 1pm. Ther management team is fantastic, kitchen is fast, and the bar team keeps everyone happy, shout out to Randyl and Dom for always taking good care of us. read more

Food was alright... nothing fancy or special about it. Prices were high for breakfast but I guess the location was the issue. Coffee wasn't amazing and chilaquiles are supposed to have salsa verde. Do not go if u need gluten free. Read this first. Used to be really good but went in this morning and found they no longer pay attention to food allergies. My daughter ate what she was told were gluten free pancakes and immediately was sick when we got home (about half an hour after finishing her meal). They served me food with red peppers after I asked them to not include the peppers. The chef said "there's only 3 in there." Seriously? None means none. They were nice & remade my meal (chef burnt it but remade it) and didn't charge me for it but that's not the point. I'd rather pay for well prepared food rather than deal with careless mistakes. Hopefully will change their ways but I need to find another breakfast spot with REAL gluten free options. Apparently this chef doesn't know the difference or doesn't care about food allergies (including celiac disease). read more
