Well I have to say what a disappointment today was. The server, whose name shall be withheld out of respect, I have to say it was a disappointment. Her attitude towards me was as if I was more of a bother than a customer. Moreover, I have to say the biscuits were not only hard as a rock, but severely over-baked on verge of burnt. My friend had a lobster omelette, which was nothing more than a couple of eggs folded over with a couple of bites of lobster on top. I'm sorry that I've never seen an omelette that didn't have stuff inside. So overall, the food was a disappointment, and the service was even a greater disappointment.

Veggie Delight Omelette

Very disappointing experience. We sat at the bar, and the bartender seemed completely disinterested, like they were just going through the motions instead of providing any kind of welcoming service. It made the whole experience feel cold and uninviting. The food was just average at best... nothing memorable and definitely not worth the price. Honestly, we could have stayed home and made brunch ourselves and had a much better meal. Unfortunately, between the lackluster service and mediocre food, we won't be coming back.

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing brunch experience. We sat at the bar, and the bartender/server came across like he didn't want to be there, which made the service feel unwelcoming from the start. The food was just mid at best. The fruit was on the overripe, mushy side, and nothing we ordered really stood out or felt worth the price. There are so many great breakfast and brunch spots around that I'd recommend saving your money and trying one of those instead.

Steady crowd in for Sat morning but able to find two spots at the bar area. Service was excellent. Good location with lots of parking. Nice portions hot and fresh.

Me and my girlfriend wanted Brunch so we stopped by for food. There was plenty of seating inside. We were able to get a table right away. For some reason, we had flies inside near our table. I ordered a Peach Cobbler French Toast, Scrambled Eggs and Bacon. It took a little longer than usual to get the Tito's Strawberry Lemonade. The Peach Cobbler French Toast was really good. It tastes like the pie. I definitely need to try this again.

Non-Alcoholic Raspberry White Chocolate Cold Brew

I'm writing to share a complaint about my experience at the Another Broken Egg Cafe in Deerwood, Jacksonville, Florida. I ordered the non-alcoholic Raspberry White Chocolate Cold Brew, expecting it to look and be presented reasonably close to the menu description. Unfortunately, what I received was very disappointing. There was no raspberry topping on the drink, the jam was chaotically smeared across the top of the mug, and there was almost no cream. The presentation honestly made the drink look as though someone had already started drinking it before it was served to me. I understand that presentation can vary, but this was far below what I would expect from a restaurant and was noticeably different from how the drink is represented on the menu. I was very disappointed with the quality and presentation of what I received.

The servers were nice and attentive. Food came out fast too. We ate outside and it was nice, chill and comfortable. The food was okay and average. It was exceptional but it was good. If youre looking for a good brunch or breakfast this spot isn't bad. I did not like their cold brew, I have a very particular taste for cold brew and it tasted watered down. I like strong, smooth cold brew/espresso.

The service was impeccable. The waitress, the hostess and everyone else we came in contact with were absolutely great. The eggs and bacon were good, they were your standard eggs and bacon. The hash browns were phenomenal they tasted just like french fries I couldn't get enough! We also ordered this amazingly delicious peppermint mocha coffee, so good we had to another. The pancakes were a hit or a miss. Two came is the stack one was a bit overcooked and the other was soft and fluffy. Other than that the meal and experience were nice.

They change up the menu a lot but not all things are always available. This time we tried pound cake French toast and a pumpkin crunch waffle. I also ordered a mimosa. The mimosa was too sweet and mostly syrup. We sat at the bar and the bartender seemed like he really didn't like his job. No real suggestions. Food did take quite a bit to come out. Food was hot and most was prepared as asked. Just not a super pleasurable experience in whole. Decent but not what it used to be

Another Broken Egg is probably the last of the brunch spots we've had the opportunity to try here in Jax, and it was great! While everyone has their opinions on what should be included in omelets, toppings for waffles and pancakes, and everything else regarding brunch, we enjoyed our meal! While not nearly as many options as some other places, the eggs and pancakes that we got were very tasty! We would have wished for either some lower prices, or just larger portions, in general the restaurant was clean, the service was both quick and friendly, and we had a great time!

Great service right from the start. Been awhile since been at this broken egg Started off with coffee and beignets. Then add my usual breakfast. Really enjoyed the sausage and eggs were perfect. Can't go wrong with broken egg

After checking out lights of st Augustine a night before we wanted to have brunch before starting to drive back to our destination. We found this cafe nearby and it really stood up to the reviews. We had the skinny omelet and tiramisu French toast with beignets. The seasonal fruits we got with the omelet were delicious ! I have never had that sweet blackberry in my LIFE. It didn't taste artificial or sugary it was as natural as it could be and fresh. The service was really good and they kept fulfilling my kids demands without any frustration. Ambience is nice and comfortable . They also have outside seating with heaters for winters.

Got the Lobster and Brie Omelette and the Bourbon St Pancakes, both were very flavorful and delicious.

Terrible - waited an hour for our food. Kitchen is understaffed, which they could have told us in advance.

Always great food. Bit pricey and expect a wait. Recommend using app to get on waiting list prior to going.

There were roughly 15 people at the party and she kept the food and drinks coming all night with a friendly smile. I started with the guava gimlet made with Wheatley Vodka, guava, pineapple, simple and lime. It was sweet and refreshing. We were served a few appetizers including creamy artichoke dip served with homemade chips which were tasty. My friend and I ordered the charcuterie board which hit the spot! You could top the meat cheeses and sauces on to either homemade crackers or French bread. I highly recommend the board if you are looking for something light.

The staff were friendly but super busy due to inside volume of people. The food looks good and the steak was cooked fine, but the chimichurri had too much oil & fries were super salty. Like it was fried in it and topped off with it... I had let the person who brought the food out know (who works with the chef), and they never offered to bring me different fries. They just said they would tell the kitchen but didn't offer anything and so I didn't eat the fries at all. This plate being $38 before tax, I mean you want good fries....For the drink I got one of their mocktails which honestly was not up to par at all tasting like water and cucumber and nothing else, and I ended up ordering a soda... Again staff are friendly, but if management could pay attention a little more even when they're busy, it would help a lot, especially if someone is not happy with their food. I will not try this place again for a while as there are other places better than this that have similar dishes. Again when people are eating alone or in a group, make them happy with the food please...

Had a young waiter, Malachi and he did everything perfect. Didn't bother us, but always checked on us and he was just extremely professional for being a very young person . We were seated outside, where there was a nice breeze and a TV. Since it was our first time visiting, our server welcomed us and gave us a few minutes to decide after explaining that we might need some time to look over the menu. Unfortunately, our server wasn't very attentive. Her energy seemed low, and it felt like she was rushing through everything instead of focusing on the small details that make for great customer service. 6/10 I decided to order the Smokehouse Burger (medium) with no onions, and added lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, ketchup, and mustard. The burger started off strong with a nice smoky flavor, and the tanginess of the BBQ sauce gave it a great taste. However, the burger patty itself lacked seasoning and didn't have the flavor I was expecting. The bacon was nice and crispy, which was a plus. Overall, this wasn't my favorite burger I've had over the past few days. The BBQ sauce carried the entire burger and overpowered everything else instead of complementing it. 7/10 The fries were soft and fluffy, but I do wish they had been a little crispier. Some of them also seemed slightly undercooked. 7/10

We came for a little happy hour after work recently and I got my favorite drink - espresso martini. Of course. And I will always mention the nice little carafe you get with the rest of the shaker. Recent years I have not gone as much; a few visits (not to this location but in other states) were not quite what I remembered. Nonetheless, we were in town for the night, and this location was within walking distance from our hotel. We arrived slightly before our reservation and were seated quickly. Our server came to the table and was very polite, took our drink order, and quickly returned. My wife had a glass of red wine (I can't remember which), and for me a Vodka martini with olives. My drink was good and exactly what I needed after a long day of travel. For appetizers, we ordered the Avocado Bomb, ahi tuna, crab salad, crispy wontons, and the fire-grilled artichokes with rémoulade. The artichokes were just okay, and honestly I'm not sure how much was the restaurants fault or the fact that artichokes are a pain to eat and theirs nothing to them but chewy leaves (the rémoulade was good though!). The Avocado Bomb was very good, although one critique was that, while, yes, it was crab salad at the bottom, the crab was nearly shredded, but overall a good dish! I opted for Prime Rib (as rare as they could get it to me), with au jus and smashed potatoes. My wife decided on the Carolina Crab Cakes, jumbo lump crab, chili mayonnaise, mustard sauce, French fries, and Southern coleslaw. I also opted for a side of horseradish sauce per our server's recommendation. I will say that I've ordered prime rib before in similar chain restaurants (some of them chain steakhouses), and without fail they come out nearly well done. The excuse is always because "it's precooked and it is cooked to a certain temp...blah, blah, blah". Yet, I ordered it here, and it was cooked exactly as I wanted it. Now, I won't claim it was a great cut of beef, but it was good and did the trick. The potatoes were good as well. The horseradish sauce, though, had far too much mayo in it and tasted like it. But still a dish I would order again! My wifes crab cakes were very good as well, a great amount of lump crab meat without the filler you see so often. The coleslaw was typical coleslaw, tasteless and pointless when you have a dish at market price. But the fries were good! Overall, we had a good experience; the service and food were very good. If in the area again, we would certainly return, and this may have me visit other J. Alexander's during my travels elsewhere.
