From the moment I walked in, I was obsessed with the atmosphere and all the thoughtful details that make the space feel so unique. I love that it effortlessly transforms from a cozy coffee shop by day into a cocktail bar at night--the vibes are immaculate no matter when you visit. The staff was exceptional and so helpful in walking me through the menu. One of my favorite things to do is ask the baristas what they recommend, and they definitely didn't disappoint. I went with a blueberry vanilla iced latte, and it was the perfect way to kick off my Friday.

Some were quietly relaxing while others were catching up over drinks. The coffeehouse-meets-cocktail-bar aesthetic is well executed and gives the space a distinct personality. I ordered the nonalcoholic Basil Needs a Break, and it was excellent. If you like basil, this drink definitely delivers. It was bright, refreshing, and very basil-forward. The service was friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was the temperature inside. It was nearly 100 degrees outside, but the bar felt warm with very little air circulation. It was almost refreshing to step back into the muggy heat after leaving, which probably isn't the feeling you're hoping to give your guests. I'd definitely come back for the drinks and atmosphere, but I'd hope for a cooler temp next time.

Sure, less money that came out hot crunchy flavorful and they're extra hot. Buffalo sauce is really good.. Service is always friendly and attentive

This is not the place for wine people. I saw no wine on any menu at The Broken Barrel. But, for…read morereal, that's OK with me. And I say this as a hardcore wine person. I fully accept that this is a safe space for bourbon people and whiskey people. (I know: Bourbon is a type of whiskey! Just go with me here.) They have a literal wall of bourbon at The Broken Barrel. Pro tip: Look at the menu and see what they offer, but then walk up to the bar and look at the wall of whiskey and bourbon, and see what they have available that day. What they have available and what's on the menu can vary. You might see some goodies on the wall that aren't listed on the menu. If I'm not drinking wine, then I'm drinking gin. Luckily for me, there was a gin drink on the menu, so I got that: The New Gatsby, which is Hendrick's gin, St. Germain, cherry and lime, served in a tall glass with lots of ice. It was refreshing, but I kind of wish it had more gin in it! It was very sweet and light, and the perfect beverage for someone who likes light, sweet drinks. A dirty martini was also ordered, which is vodka, olive juice and bleu-cheese-stuffed olives. They make a dang good dirty martini here! It's like drinking a salty salad in a glass, if you're into that sort of thing. The Broken Barrel is a dark, cozy space, and a good place to get a drink. Keep in mind that it's 21+, so adults only! But because this bar is attached to Wolfie's Grill, you can order food here, and get it sent to The Broken Barrel.

This needs to be your go to every Saturday night. Trust me I've been around the block. Nothing comes close to Blend.

They were very accommodating to such a large group, many of whom are not really cigar smokers. At the back of the space is a large bar with an equally large humidor behind it. The humidor attendant was helpful and patient with the members of our party that didn't really know what they wanted. We were seated at a long table near the bar, though we took up a couple of smaller tables as well. They do a phenomenal job of air quality management, even though there were a ton of people smoking, the air seemed quite clean, enough so that a non-smoker would probably be comfortable hanging out with a friend who was smoking without being uncomfortable. Though they only have a small selection of beer, they did have some fairly good options. I had a Goose Island Cherries Jubilee Bourbon County Stout (quite nice), and a Camacho cigar. I didn't have any food on this visit, but the menu did look promising, even if a bit over priced. Overall this is a very nice spot for a cigar and a drink, I will likely be back when in Indy again!

(Because I hate shopping for clothes.) But mostly, I visit when I'm at the Landmark to see a movie. I've visited this bar many times, and every time has been a pleasant experience. They have a full menu of cocktails -- sometimes even special cocktails that are themed with the movies that are playing. They also have a decent wine menu. They also have local beer available, and some snacks. The bar has a door that enters from the mall, but also a door that you can access from the theatre. There are lots of tables here, and it's never crowded. It's usually pretty quiet except for the sound of whatever is playing on the TV above the bar -- usually sports. All of the bartenders that I've encountered have been extremely efficient and friendly. They'll usually ask you what movie you're here to see, or how you're doing, which I don't usually care about but it's nice when they do it here.

She wore a birthday headband so not sure if it was her actual birthday or decorations but her energy gave she would rather be anywhere but work (perhaps celebrating her birthday?). I had to ask another waitress walking by if I could get more water (she was super nice and friendly, I didn't get her name). We had a friend join late, Taylor never acknowledged her or even asked if she wanted to place an order. Taylor came and grabbed our receipts because she didn't want them to "fly away". Mind you, there was no wind and they were tucked in the receipt book thing-a-ma-bob. Stephen the manger checked on us and filled him in on Taylor (unbeknownst to me he was the manager at the time). I had the pear margarita. Apparently they ran out of oranges so the drink arrived without any garnishment so no photo worthy pic obtained. It was just ok. My friend had the pineapple rum old fashioned and said it was delicious. I had the Brussel sprouts. They were mediocre at best. I requested some ranch to make them More palatable and that was a good move. The ranch is very good!!
