We were staying a few streets down from this restaurant, so we decided to go here for a quick dinner before heading to a concert that evening. The hostess stand is clear in the back and not easily spotted from the front entrance. However, once we got to the stand, we were greeted warmly and sent to a table in the bar area (which we requested). I got the impression this was probably an excellent sports bar (based on the TVs, the open environment and the size of the place) rather than a "restaurant". The name of the place states, "kitchen and bar" and I believe that is an apt description once our visit was complete. The best part of our time here was our waitress, Zee Zee (or "ZZ" like ZZ Top, as she mentioned). She was so engaging and entertaining! We had a blast with her fun quips and light demeanor. And boy, does she work hard as evident as we watched her attend to her customers with the individual attention everyone deserves! Kudos to ZZ! The food was a hit and miss. We ordered the Breaded Pickles as an appetizer (served with ranch dressing), but within a minute of a server placing them on the table, ZZ came with our entrees. She apologized that they both came nearly simultaneously, but we told her it was not her fault. As for the entrees, I loved the Blackened Chicken Alfredo I ordered. The chicken was nicely seasoned with a good kick, and the fettucine was tossed in a house made alfredo sauce that was excellent. One friend got the Thai Chicken Wrap and thought it was tasty, but her husband said the Hoosier Pork Tenderloin was just "ok". The main thing that turned off the husband was the men's bathroom. He came back and said to include in my review that the bathroom was somewhat gross with an empty beer bottle on the urinal and the place was not clean. He said should the bottle fall and break, it would be a complete mess for others. He wanted to leave after that, and the wife decided to use the bathroom back at the house based on his suggestion. Note to management - scheduled visits to the bathrooms should be made in an effort to keep it presentable. I know this is more a sports bar than a restaurant, but cleanliness is important!

Im late adding my review... but here goes. It was a friendmas gathering with my dear sisters. Binkleys was the chosen venue. I love this place because everything is always fresh and flavorful. Parking is an adventure but they do have it in the corner lot located on 59th and College Ave. The atmosphere is still as i remember it. Nice and quaint but spacious enough to not be on top of each other. We had an amazing time. The food was fresh and wonderful. I had the chicken ceaser salad wrap and the truffle fries (a staple for me when I come) our server was amazing she provided excellent customer service. We didnt wait for drinks, she made sure we were taken care of. We laughed the afternoon away. We did the viral girls gift exchange and that had the patrons in the resturaunt engaged with us as we had so much fun grabbing gifts off the table. And b4 we left one of the staff came and took photos for us. I so appreciate the service that was given to us. Everyone was so friendly and literally assisted on making our gathering an awesome one.

Food, service and ambiance were great here. Our waitress was especially attentive during my first visit here. I loved the shrimp platter with different shrimp flavors. Their fries and coleslaw were perfect. (I especially loved the coconut shrimp but they were all good.) Their fried mushrooms are so good! My fiancé had the fried tenderloin sandwich and it tasted good too.

I love the truffle fries. They have good beers on tap. I hang with all sorts of beer drinkers: the IPAers, the malty brown lovers, and the miller, coors, bud people. When you come to Binkley's, you can please them all. Plus they have a full bar, wine, It is a great place to have fun with friends, have a meal with family or just hang and watch some sports.

We drive past Binkleys every day, and for years, we kept saying we would go in. We finally stopped in, and once we figured out what door to go in (very awkward), then once we found the hostess (also very awkward), we were seated right by the door we came in. So, to clear that up, the main entrance off the street is not the main door; it's in the back near the dumpsters. The door off College is not the main door, just one of the 2 on that side of the building. A very nice waitress took care of us and kept our water jar full the entire time we ate. It was a rainy day, and the lighting was dim and conversations quiet; it was peaceful. We tried the pepper jack cheese curds, they were ok. We tried the onion rings because they looked great in pictures, they were ok and very salty. There was a burger and chicken strip and a BBQ pork pizza at our table. Nothing too amazing, and nothing bad. We may go back, but there are so many exciting places in the area it's hard to go to somewhere OK.

Binkley's is one of our favorite neighborhood spots! I usually get a burger, onion rings, broccoli, and then we share the sweet potato fries--so good every time! Everything is always on point, and the vibe is super laid back and welcoming. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

First time here. I've always seen the large sign at the corner of College and Kessler. Went with a friend who knew about the small parking lot behind the building. We got a great spot. It filled up fast and we got there just before 6 pm. There is also street parking and I was told there was a public lot about a block down from the restaurant. The place is enormous with seating on two sides. The place was packed so it's definitely a popular place. It's total a bar vibe. The server was friendly and she got our orders right. There were lots of choices and specials for the week as well as drink specials. I asked for an Ash and Elm cider and they brought me the aluminum can popped open. I had to ask for a glass. I've never been handed a can in a restaurant before without being offered a glass. All of the cocktails were great priced though. The food was pretty good. Fair for pub grub. All of our sweet potato fries were cold. The onion rings were okay. Thick batter but seasoned pretty well. I was in a large group and didn't have the opportunity to ask how everyone enjoyed their meal. It all looked good as I took a few photos of it being handed out. The fried donuts were tasty. It was accommodating for a group of 10. I don't know if I would rush back to Broadripple to eat here but it was definitely worth a try. It's no frills for sure but no complaints except for the cold fries.

Binkley's has long been a trusted neighborhood favorite in Broad Ripple, and stepping inside always feels like visiting a familiar spot. The vibe is relaxed but classy, with warm lighting, comfy seating, and a layout suited for both group gatherings and casual dinners. Whether at the bar, in the dining room, or on the patio, the place feels lively yet inviting. Service at Binkley's is consistently excellent. Staff are knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive, often offering helpful recommendations based on your mood. They keep things running smoothly during busy times, and you never feel rushed. This level of hospitality makes you want to come back before you leave. The menu balances elevated comfort foods with inventive takes on American classics. Whether it's their signature sandwiches, colorful salads, or filling entrées, everything is carefully prepared with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. The weekend brunch is also top-notch, providing plenty of reasons to visit at different times. Portions are generous and reasonably priced, cocktails are skillfully mixed, and there's always something new or seasonal to enjoy. Binkley's combines consistency, warmth, and delicious food, making it a reliable spot for nearly any occasion. With its good beer selection, relaxed vibe, and consistently tasty food, Union Jack Pub feels like a dependable neighborhood hangout. It's a place you can visit without overthinking, knowing you'll always find good service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a meal that hits the spot.

Binkleys is a great neighborhood spot. We live down the street and love to walk here for a beer and a sports game. They have an extensive drink menu and great bar food. My partner loves their burgers and I am never disappointed by the pizza! Overall a good place for a casual dinner with friends.

The menu is not your typical menu, it's very crafty if that's a word. The service was very good, and she explained the menu well and we took her up on her recommendations. Turkey pastrami which I had never had before. It tastes really fresh and felt healthy. The salad comes in a little small bowl but full of goodness. It's a really nice place for a girls night out, or a family dinner. Wouldn't consider it a good place for date night as it is pretty loud.

Once you're inside, though, the vibe pulls you in. They've made the most of a small footprint with cozy, creative seating nooks that invite you to slow down. My wife is already plotting a return just to sit by the chairs near the fireplace. The menu isn't extensive, but it's thoughtfully done--just right for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. I ordered a biscuit sandwich with turkey sausage, egg, pepper jack, and hot honey (not on the menu, but just ask for the Fire and Ice biscuit). When it first came out, I had a quick "where's the rest?" moment, but it turned out to be surprisingly filling and really flavorful. I paired it with the tiramisu cappuccino and loved it--rich, smooth, and a little indulgent in the best way. Fire and Ice feels like the kind of place you're glad you discovered--perfect for studying solo, meeting someone for coffee, or escaping the rush for a bit. It's easy to drive past, but once you stop in, you'll want to come back. Save me a spot by the fireplace!

There are a variety of tables, also some comfy corner chairs. You order at the counter then they'll bring food to you. We all got (plain) coffee. There's a small sugar station on the end of the counter, but you have to ask for cream. I also told a staff member none of us had been there before, and asked were there coffee refills (since the rest was specialty coffee drinks) or do we pay? She said we can have one refill if we come up. My friends got gluten free egg/biscuit sandwiches. The hubs got a crepe with strawberries, bananas and more in it. I ordered the Galette Bretonne - which is described as "a savory light Buckwheat crepe with City ham, Gruyere cheese, with sunny side up egg" and also comes with a side salad. Our food came fairly quickly. The crepe was visually pretty. The biscuit sandwiches looked like they had nice fluffy biscuits (and, gluten free!) - but they were on the small side (smaller than an egg mcmuffin). My galette looked nice but not like the photo (see pics of mine & one from their web) - and the egg inside was well done, definitely not sunny side up or even medium. I don't mind harder cooked eggs, but the whole effect was very dry, so I went to the counter to ask for some syrup. The server told me that he would have to charge me for it. I said fine, yes please, because my dish is so dry it's unedible without it. So he went back in the kitchen and did bring me out a small side dish of syrup (see also pic of that, for size). I had my credit card ready, but he said "this one's on me." I thanked him and sat down to eat. ... and yes, that syrup was just the trick to make the dish delicious! So this is the thing that makes a whole experience "meh" as opposed to "really nice": Between me & my hubs, our food and plain coffees were $42. (My friends paid separately for theirs.) For that price and just counter service, if a guest asks for a small side of syrup for the food, there should not be a side charge. I think the server who gave it to me realized that (but I would have paid it anyway because the meal was just too dry without it) ... But here's the thing - there was another staff member at the counter when my server gave me that little side of syrup. She heard him say "no charge this time," and her expression absolutely changed, and she looked mad that he did not charge me, and like she was about to say something (but didn't). Guess what? I absolutely saw that. And I totally feel like she was not only mad, but also that he might get reprimanded for it. (Might I add, we were also there when it was NOT busy at all, so there was nothing about the atmosphere that was rushed or hectic - although that souldn't matter, either.) And yes, of course when I went back to the table, I relayed that story to my other 3 companions. A little (little!) customer service goes a long way. And also is easily a deciding factor of whether or not a place gets a revisit. There are so many other places to try. #ReviewsByRL

The Brussels sprouts are an absolute triumph: perfectly blistered with a caramelized exterior and tender interior, dressed in a harmonious balance of bright acidity and savory depth. The Korean salmon is equally impressive. The fish arrives flaky and moist with a richly glazed crust that carries sweet, spicy, and umami notes in perfect proportion.
