Breakfast was sooooo soooo good. We had the biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles, grits and beignets and everything was awesome. Also, the Bloody Mary was delicious and we are pretty picky when it comes to bloody Mary's. Our server was so sweet also. Would definitely recommend for breakfast/brunch. read more

Excellent brunch! Located in downtown Fairhope Another Broken Egg Cafe has a great menu selection. Great wait staff, a true Southern gem. Today I had the lobster omelet with a lemon herb sauce it was delicious. If you live here in Fairhope or traveling through, this a must for breakfast read more

Happened upon this place during their "soft opening" and it was absolutely delicious! We got the Brie appetizer and it was delicious, and I got the southwest scramble which was absolutely amazing! Coffee was yummy too, a little pricey but a great spot when you want something a little different for breakfast. read more

Good food, pricey for what you get, but that's also Fairhope for you. I've tried multiple things here and they were all very good! I like they use the Nowait app, as the line is usually out the door on the weekends and you can reserve your spot in line without having to be there! read more

Visiting from Vegas & this was an AMAZING breakfast!! Husband got Lobster & Grits(so good) & I had Apple & Brie waffles(so good). I have to say, was a great start to our trip here read more

Great food and plenty of gluten free options. The only negative is the service is very slow. This is not the place to go if you are in a hurry. read more

Ordered the fried green tomato sandwich. It was very good. Heard no complaints from the table of 6 other guests. The menu ranged from breakfast to dinner items. Everyone can find something to eat here. Full bar also. My only disappoinment was the wait time for our food, granted we were a group of 7. All food came out together and hot, so.... Pricing was fair. read more

Fresh, friendly, and fabulous. In Fairhope for vacation at a certain beautiful historic resort with less than desirable food from my dinner experience and so glad we found this place. We ate breakfast here everyday. The elevated breakfast menu did not disappoint. Ben was a great server with genuine personality. The Smokey Sriracha Mary and Spiked Nutella Iced Latte are awesome. Be sure you go on an empty stomach. The menu includes pancakes, omelets, french toasts done in a verity of ways. Excited to find there is one within 30 min. from the house. read more

I gave this a try having loved another ABE in VA. It was way, way too noisy in the building and to make matters worse, my sausage omelette was over cooked, salt free and dry. The day we went the place was packed. (A Friday at 1pm) I felt very uncomfortable and really hoped the food would make up for it. Nope. My daughter's food was just okay. ...Meh. read more

An awesome breakfast place. The Floridian omelette was delicious. The gluten free pancakes were not dry and tasted like regular pancakes. The sausage patties made in house were great. Loved that atmosphere and the wait staff were so friendly. read more

Good food, but don't go if you're actually hungry. The service is slow. We've been several times. Regardless of the time day, you'll wait 10-15 minutes for someone to take you're drink order. Then you'll watch as your drink will sit at the end of the bar another 10 minutes. It's consistent. read more

The BEST Bloody Mary! Also the California Omelette! My husband had eggs Benedict and he really like his too! It can get crowded on the weekends for breakfast, so have some conversation ready for the wait, but it's worth the wait. read more

This is the second time that we were placed on a waiting list and never called. Second the hositist had the attitude like I really don't want to help you and could careless about you being here. Really bad attitude. Now the waiters and waitress were good and had a personality. The girls behind the bar were great along with the bloody Mary read more

Our favorite breakfast place!!! Love the coffee and favorite are the pancakes and biscuits n gravy

Went there for lunch and had the supreme omelette and grits. It was so big, I could only eat half of it and took the rest Home with us. Food was delicious and the service was great too! read more

We had great and fast service by Sarah this morning. The food was nicely prepared and tasted great as well. I got the Hey Lucy omelet. It was loaded with Chorizo and avocado, and served with salsa and picante. My husband got the egg white omelette with diced chicken and avocado and cheese. So yummy!!We will go back in the future. read more

Can you say addiction? This is our third day in a row eating breakfast here! I have no idea why we waited three days to try the beignets because they are amazing! Favorite pancake is still the lemon blueberry served with a little goat cheese and whip cream. The city grits are a must because they are made with smoked Gouda and topped with bacon tomato and onions. read more

Always good. Very noisy acoustics. Food is consistent in quality and flavor. Service can suffer when it's busy, but it's one of our fav's for breakfast. read more

Great coffee! I could go there just for that alone. Great menu variety and they always change up the menu based on the season. Location is perfect for a stroll through downtown Fairhope after your meal. Will always be a favorite! read more

The city grits, crab omlete and Belgian waffle are among my favorites. The Fairhope location is a lovely spot for a traditional Southern breakfast. read more

I usually don't like chain restaurants but this place is GREAT! The staff is friendly, food is super delish and the mimosas are out of this world (Black cherry mimosa) read more

A fantastic breakfast...! I had the country bowl and it was perfect. Half and half iced tea was also A-1. A little pricey...but worth every penny! read more

Brunch on 7/5 was very disappointing. This restaurant used to be one of our favorite breakfast choices. After waiting over 2 hours we were finally seated. The place was about a 1/3 full. Greeted by a waiter that did not know how to smile and make you feel welcome, we finally got a cup of not-so-hot coffee. No sugar at our table so we had to get up and get some from another table because there was so little waitstaff on the floor and we couldn't get anyone's attention. Requested refills were half-filled cups of more not-so-hot coffee. 30 minutes later we got our food. It was not as good and hot as I had had on our last visit. One of the things we loved about this restaurant was the friendly and welcoming staff - its southern charm! We received none of that on 7/5. After waiting so long and paying an expensive bill for 3 people for a so so meal, if we had had at least some friendly customer service we would have been happier. We left feeling overcharged and very underwhelmed. read more

Food was tasty. Service was slow. We sat over 10 minutes after completing our meal & had to find a server to get our bill.

Just one word. AMAZING. First day in the states and we got a warm welcome. One of the staff members knew it was our first day and we got free beignets. Food came very quick, and it was delicious! Also a big thumbs up for the staff! Thank you! Greets from Belgium read more

The service from the kitchen is sometimes slow but the food is awesome and the management of Ms. C is awesome!! It is certainly our go to place. read more

I have never had a poor experience until today at Another Broken Egg. Our server's name was Anna, she was wearing a bandana with a few chains. My 2 friends and I decided to sit outside to enjoy some brunch and mimosas on our off day. What I was not expecting was a 30 minute wait for champagne and orange juice. We were given no explanation as to why the drinks took so long to make, instead Anna came up to our table, dropped them off and said "here you go" before walking back inside. I had the traditional which consisted of grits, sausage, eggs, and an english muffin. However I had to ask for the english muffin along with silverware to even be able to begin eating our food. Not even a quarter of the way through our meal, our server Anna came up already asking how the checks would be split. The checks were dropped half way through our meal, making us feel rushed to eat and leave. Our entire party consists of servers at the local resort, so we have nothing but sympathy for someone who is busy, however Anna obviously did not give a care in the world to serve us. On her 4th and final round of checking on us, she asked if we needed anything else, while we had a pile of dirty dishes that we ourselves had to pre-bus from the table. Our dishes were never even offered to be taken out of our way. What finally made the visit the worst I've ever had here was when we came in to pay for our tabs, Anna was having a conversation with the host and eating bacon at the host stand. Keep in mind she said "This is all I do", as she held up the piece of bacon she was eating. She decided to finish her full conversation before even acknowledging that we were there as we were just ready to leave. I will not be returning here anytime soon after what I have experienced today. This restaurant appears to be poorly managed and our server did not appear to have a care in the world regarding her tables. The 3 of us were all fully prepared to give her cash tips but Anna most definitely did not deserve any of our money since she decided to not give us any of her time. For a $9 mimosa even, I would at the very least expect it to come out in a timely manner instead of 30 minutes after ordering. read more

Super impressive menu. You go there thinking your about to get an amazing breakfast. I've been here three times and every time the food is bland, undercooked, and overpriced. read more

Great food. Not the same old thing. Loved the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes and homemade patty sausage.

Friendly staff. Shrimp and grits is off the hook and worth the trip to have it again!

Beignets and marmalade were so yummy! So many options on this menu. I love that the breakfast lovers, the brunch lovers and the lunch lovers can all eat at the same place and be happy. Toasted English muffins were a nice change when you're used to biscuits and toast. Very clean and nicely decorated. Quiet atmosphere with street access for those strolling through Fairhope. read more

Great food, good atmosphere. Gotta eat the fried green tomatoes, any style. The Bella wrap with chicken was superb. They also know how to make awesome home fried read more

Just stopped in for some beignets and some city grits....and it was amazing! Super nice staff! Great job you guys!

I will start out by saying the service was exceptional. My boyfriend and I stopped by here during brunch hours for a good meal before we got back on the interstate, and while it was good, it was not what all we hoped it would be. I ordered the southwest scrambler, it was a 7/10, and my boyfriend got the chicken and waffles, and let's say... he was disappointed in his. I did not try it, but I would definitely go back. read more

The food and service here was outstanding. I had Eggs Benedict and my husband had biscuits and gravy, both with cheese grits. I had coffee and my husband had orange juice. They gave us complimentary beignets for first time there. He said his biscuits and gravy was delicious and so was my Eggs Benedict. Cooked perfectly and they put a large slice of delicious ham instead of Canadian bacon. I think it was the best E.B. I have ever eaten. Service was impeccable. If we're ever in Fairhope again, we will be back. read more

My sister and I went in for breakfast. We had a great server and the food was wonderful. My sister had the Stan's Mardi Gras omelet with lobster, shrimp and cream cheese. I had the sweet potato pancakes. I would recommend both to anyone. Very flavorful without being overpowering. We sat forever and drank coffee and caught up. We never felt rushed. They just kept refilling our coffee. I love the relaxed atmosphere and great service. We will definitely go back. read more

First visit yesterday after tennis; mid morning, maybe a quarter of tables occupied. Promptly greeted, good service. Shared the Mardi Gras omelette and it was wonderful. Plenty to share along with potatoes and English muffin. Nice, clean place. read more

At at Another Broken Egg today for brunch. The food was excellent as usual, but the waitress was not very good. We sat down and waited at least 10 minutes for her to take our drink order. She noticed I wasn't too pleased and took our food order fairly quickly. So our food came and we asked the waitress for silverware, she forgot. I had to go to the front of the restaurant and get them my self! Horrible service. read more

I ordered the BLAST sandwich. It was supposed to be basically a BLT with avocado and cheese. It was a greasy mess: it was slathered in oil on the outside ... I guess it was supposed to be grilled. (It was warm but not toasted). It had about 6 slices of bacon (Many would have loved this), but this was proportionately too much to go with the one slice of tomato, the one piece of avocado the size of a dime, and the slice of cheese that only covered 1/2 of the sandwich. The potatoes were dry and cold and the sandwich was just thrown on the plate. Not even cut in half. I paid $11 for this when I could have stayed home and had a good sandwich for free. read more

Another fantastic meal at Another Broken Egg Cafe. From the hostess to our server, Kasey, everything was perfect. The food was outstanding, coffee cups were kept full, and the wait was very brief. The call ahead option is a great asset. The manager, Charissa, stopped by to check on everything. She was very attentive, listed to our praises about the food and service and genuinely cared about what we had to say. We will be back. read more
