This is a nice spot in downtown for brunch. It's very small on the inside with few seatings inside and out. The wait can be long on the weekends and there's not much of a waiting area as we have to sit in a small space where the lodging was. I thought it was kind of weird that we're sitting right outside people's doors. It's also not kid-friendly because of the lack of space and no booster seats or changing tables in bathrooms. Other than that, it's a very nice place to eat with friends. The food was pretty decent but nothing amazing. The waitress actually forgot about us after we were seated. I had to go get them. The breakfast plate and burger were good. Although my bacon was too crispy for my liking. The avocado tartine tasted too lemony and took away from the avocado toast flavor. The coffee was OK too. We stopped in to try this quaint local cafe for brunch on our way out of town. It's a unique place because it's inside of an old bank building. They have seating inside or outside. Our server was friendly and able to make good recommendations. We both ordered lattes to start. My husband had the biscuit and gravy while I opted for a sweet dish. When you come in, if you get here closer to the later morning there could be a wait to get seated; I have taken seats both inside and out, and everywhere you sit is pleasant IMO. The servers are always nice, and are engaged with customers constantly, checking in and getting orders out effectively and quickly. Every cup I ordered was good, and I had a few cups of matcha as well. My favorite breakfast item is the scramble bowl with potatoes. I don't want to post about this place because it's literally my favorite in Biloxi and it always stays busy in the morning! They have the best croissants in Mississippi. I haven't had a single thing here that I did not rave about. The breakfast plate is always exceptional, from perfect Mississippi grits to their fluffy biscuit with the best homemade jam, it's something everyone will enjoy. Their BLT with a runny egg is my favorite. It's so flavorful for something so simple. Their cheeseburger is an absolute favorite during lunchtime, and probably one of my favorite burgers on the coast! Their coffee bar can do pretty much anything, and does it exceptionally well. Charming cafe in the floor level of what looks to be an office complex. This was on old Wells Fargo bank, and the vault door is still on the wall for all to admire. The simple yet elevated menu serves delighted customers, even on new years day when most other eateries were closed. The old school tile floor is a stark contrast to the modern decor. Orders are taken on handheld digital devices. Service was prompt. Food was excellent. The flavor that they put into even the simplest of dishes requires a skill that I don't see around these parts where most things are deep fried. This place woke up my soul and possibly my ancestors! I stumbled into this coffee shop half-asleep, looking like a raccoon that lost custody of its trash can. One whiff of the freshly ground beans and I suddenly remembered my purpose in life. These folks don't just serve coffee -- they perform miracles in mugs. My latte was so smooth it should've been wearing a velvet robe and whispering sweet nothings. Now, let's talk pastries. Sweet baby caffeine, the cinnamon roll? It was less of a pastry and more of a spiritual experience. I saw the light. It was frosting. Bread? How exciting can bread be? The Brewpaddle bread had me thanking sweet baby Jesus I don't have a gluten allergy. Staff were friendlier than my grandma on bingo night, the decor was cozy-chic with just the right amount of exposed brick and ironic plant life, and the playlist slapped harder than my 7th grade math teacher. Really 4 for me but giving 5 stars on faith my next experience will be just that. Don't want to hurt their rating as they don't have many at moment and the quality and ownership are top notch. My big gripe was the barista girl totally messed up. Asked for a flight and to make sure non dairy. She serves me a flight. One looked like whip cream but figured maybe it's a non dairy cold foam. Went back in to ask and she said sorry it is dairy whip cream. No big deal I'll scrape it off. Go through the flight and of course the one that had whip cream was best so finished it. At end I ask her what's in pops brew. Her first thing she says is condensed milk. did you miss the whole non dairy thing I specifically asked for?? It's hard enough I got to knowingly do alternatives and am strong enough to do it. But that's a big deal for some as dairy issues can be huge. She might want to be more careful and if you're going to be a barista please learn what is dairy and not. I'll be cursing her soul when I'm stuck on the kings chair later! Haha Butter cookie, lavender, strawberry matcha and pops brew was the flight. Of course best tasting was pops now that I know why cause of real dairy but all were good. They need a new plate for the flight as the cups don't sit flush cause they are too close and are likely to fall over since not stable. As for the rest. Avocado toast is beautiful to look at and taste. Simple and delicious. The bread is a standout though. It's delicious. Would love to try any other baked things they do. The deviled eggs are a miss. Too much mustard and not enough caviar to add the saltiness it needs. The hash is fantastic! The meat is tender and flavorful and the egg was perfect. Highly recommend the French toast which is called Pain Perdu. It was nicely plated and the fruit is fresh. The cream that comes on the side has a pleasant vanilla flavor, you can tell that it was made with real vanilla bean. This is a very quaint little place that is clean open and offers a variety of seating options. I really felt I knew what I was going to order but after talking to Molly, our server we went with the hash, Pork, bread with cheese and delicious butter, excellent jam. We ordered a blueberry matcha and a coffee flight all at the very beginning. We were informed the flight would take a little time. Molly brought the delicious bread and we enjoyed the cheese, butter and homemade jam leisurely . The matcha came, also excellent!!!! After a little time passed our delicious entrees came again excellent! The flavors are amazing and truly something different. We were also happy to learn that they throw in local source ingredients where they can. It is sparse but it's is a start. We finished all we could eat and the coffee flight came a few minutes after we finished our entrees, which is disappointing and 3 out of 4 coffees were tepid, but delicious. The prices are a little steep and expectations were high for the most part it was an amazing experience except for the poor timing on the coffee and the temperature of the flight. Molly is good server and had excellent suggestions and was patient as we made our decision. This is the kind of establishment where your money is well spent!!! read more

Brewpaddle is my favorite breakfast place in Biloxi because I am challenged at each visit to pick a favorite menu item. I came in yesterday planning to have lemon pancakes and biscuit/gravy with an over easy egg and CJ, our waiter, started describing his favorites and suggested the Pain Perdue which I had not had before. It was delicious and will make my next visit even more difficult as I attempt to choose.
