I've never had worse service or food. First, we sat at the front with no greeting us for over 5 minutes, then they sat us down ,and no one came for another 10 min, then someone came and said I'll be your server, but I'll be right back and then another five minutes. We got our food, but not all at the same time we had to ask for silverware they seemed annoyed. We asked for an extra plate and they didn't bring the extra plate for the food we had at the table until we got our other food that was already ordered at the same time. we asked for an extra plate three times . Then nobody came to check on us the whole time we sat there for 30 minutes. Then we had a flagged someone down for the check. No one came so we got up and went over to the counter. The lemon blueberry pancakes were hideous, like an eight-year-old made them and looks absolutely nothing like the picture, and tasted just as bad. We got the crabcake Benedict, which the crab seemed like it had been not the freshest and that didn't taste great either and the grits and eggs were cold.. The ambience is very pretty inside. However, everyone was wearing jackets because the thermostat said 66 degrees, and it's 30° outside. A couple people left after being seated around us and we saw another couple leave that stood by the front door waiting to be seated after 10 minutes. And it wasn't busy. It was a Monday morning. After such a horrible experience, I looked up some reviews and a picture of the pancakes were on a review page and that's exactly what our pancakes look like or worse, and she even said that she complained to management and they didn't care so we just paid and left . This isn't my favorite Another Broken Egg Café location, but it's also not the worst. Parking: Let's start here--it's very limited. When I say limited, I mean I almost got hit just trying to leave the parking lot. Not the best setup. Service: Our server was friendly, but she disappeared a few times and didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu. She even admitted she wasn't new, which made it a little surprising. Food: Once we finally got our food, everything was pretty good overall. ABE Bloody Mary Omelette - Perfect way to start the day. Seasonal Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes - I was hoping for more goat cheese, but the flavors still worked well. Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit Sandwich with a side of City Grits - The sandwich was solid, but I probably won't order the grits again. Chicken & Waffles with a side of Louisiana Gumbo - The gumbo was more like jambalaya. As someone with Louisiana roots, I'm skeptical when something is called "gumbo" but doesn't present itself as such. Spiked Caramel Cold Brew (seasonal) - Had to get an extra shot of Kahlua in it, and no regrets there! The kids' menu seemed pricier than I expected, but the total bill came to around $70, which wasn't terrible considering everything we ordered. Overall: This is one of those locations I'd probably visit more often if I lived in one of the nearby high-rises or was meeting friends and planned to Uber. I would say overall, my experience at another broken egg was good, but also not quite amazing. I would go back though because the food was good and the service was even better. Our bartender was really nice and gave us free samples of drinks. I think the only thing I didn't really like was the ambience...there was just no vibe or pleasant feel to the restaurant. It was weekend brunch, but it felt more like a coffee shop on a Tuesday afternoon instead of a brunch on a weekend. So I think that was one thing that was lacking for me which is very important to me, but honestly, my cookie dough waffle was good and the service was great and I did enjoy it myself so to me I feel like four stars overall is the most accurate rating that I would give it. read more

2nd time visit in as many weeks. Food is solid and good. Had biscuit/gravy with sausage/grits. Last week the Chirozio omelet. Now the service. Unfriendly, and non-attentive. Although our food came out fast, both servers I had were not busy but didn't bother to recheck to warm up coffee or ask if we needed anything further. Kim was awesome! Running the bar and covering tables?!! She was sweet, attentive and handling things! She laughed and joked and still got the orders right - without writing them down! The food received 4 stars because my potatoes were cold and my english muffin was not toasted well enough.. but then again I could have asked for that. This did not meet our expectations of previous Broken Egg restaurants. First, when we arrived, there were plenty of open seats, but we were told the kitchen "was on hold" due to a backlog. So we waited 30 minutes to be seated. Our server admitted they only had 2 cooks on hand ( I will blame the current policy on immigration for that!) When we got our food, the pancakes were chewy, the hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict tasted like some bland flour gravy, and the breakfast potatoes were no better than frozen tater tots. This Another Broken Egg location in Buckhead is brand new. The day we went in, the front of house manager told us it was exactly 3 weeks of the restaurant being open. I could've taken one star off because this location (because of city ordinance and red tape) can't serve alcohol yet, BUT my overall experience ended up being really great. I'm looking forward to going back to visit once they have their license and can offer the full menu! -The biscuit beignets are delicious and dense. The full order comes with 8 pieces, so we only got the 1/2 order for the two of us. It might sound weird, but even though the beignets are covered in powdered sugar - they weren't sickeningly sweet. It may be because the biscuits don't have much sugar in them separately. -Mardi Gras omelet - this is my 2nd time eating this at ABE and it didn't disappoint! -My friend ordered the spiked pumpkin spiced coffee (which is supposed to have liquor in it) and thoroughly enjoyed it without the alcohol! The staff was soooo friendly to us and checked on us to ensure everything was okay with our drinks and food. Came here for brunch today and had Kim as a server. Kim works the bar area and in addition to running the bar she has the tables on smash. She worked our area like a true pro. The food was good I wouldn't say great but definitely good. It's hard to say great in Georgia because there's so many great places to eat. I will say my only drawback in service was the manager at the front I was told his name is Anthony. He comes across very imposing, military-esque and made us uncomfortable upon entry to the restaurant. As a manager it's your duty to greet people coming in, smile and make them feel welcome, he needs to learn that if he's going to do this type of job. If people aren't your thing, then restaurant industry front of house is not for you. But again big shout out to Kim and her awesome service xoxo. read more

I love this place, have been to another location in the past so I ended up going to this one today (this one is actually closer to my current apartment). Goal was to have a nice hot breakfast but little did I know they had shortage of employees. Lucky that we did get the table fast but after placing the order, we waited almost 25 mins to get our food, That too after reminding our server. The food arrived and it was kinda just warm, looked like it was ready but she either forgot about it or she was too busy. The overall experience kinda sunk that time. The food was good though, yummy. Came in on a Saturday morning around 11:30AM for brunch. It was surprisingly empty, but highly recommend getting on the waitlist prior to arriving since it is usually very busy. The ambiance was a casual venue with nice chatter. You can dress up or down for this excellent brunch spot. Our server was very nice and attentive. Hashbrown Benedict - 8/10 this was a Benedict over hashbrown patties, very unique, I'd definitely order this again. Beignets - 7/10 this is more of beignet biscuits, they aren't as fluffy as beignets but not as dense as biscuits. She gave us some recommendations, since few in our party had been here before. She came back right when we had all made decisions on what to order. The coffee was excellent. Then our server brought out some of the Broken Egg's famous French beignets just before our meals --breakfast appetizer!-- and they were gone in seconds!
