Had such a nice brunch here ! It's right in the heart of Buckhead and I always pass it by. The staff was great, the restaurant was clean and the menu had options that were fresh and sounded really appetizing. The sweet potato fries were so popular at our table - I also had an ahi tuna plate that was too good !! I think I would come back for a happy hour

Cajun Shrimp Pasta

Checked this restaurant out for lunch. The inside and outside of the restaurant is really nice. It was a nice day outside so we stat outside and had the space to ourselves the whole time. I tried the lobster roll. Although they give plenty of lobster it lacked flavor. Visually the lobster looks creamy as if it would be flavorful but unfortunately it was not. The lobster was also very chewy, definitely not kid friendly as it could pose as a choking hazard. My husband got the Cajun shrimp pasta that he really enjoyed and said he would get again. The restaurant has a big menu so I'm not ruling it out for future lunch dates.

This place is pretty good. It is situated at the end of a strip mall so you will not be able to see it from the street. Parking can be really tight during peak hours. The place is extremely clean and professional. It is not that expensive. I came in and sat right at the bar. They have good TVs at the bar. I ordered the beef short rib with mashed potatoes. The first serving of beef rib was extremely tender and melted in your mouth. The second serving was tougher. I noticed that the beef rib was not seasoned nor had sauce. You are expected to get enough flavor from the juices that the mashed potatoes are sitting in. Mashed potatoes are great but they dissolve in the au jus. Still a good meal.

The service was top tier , the waitress was very attentive and quick. The restaurant was very relaxing and provided a nice vibe . The food was nothing to write home about, the bowl lacked flavor and the broccoli was undercooked. The Caesar salad was the exact same way . The drinks you could tell were a premix and overly sweet . The spinach dip had a powdered cheese taste, the bread service was good but that's about it . Overall I will probably not return.

Came here for a casual lunch with a friend and left already planning my next visit. The menu is extensive, with plenty of options no matter what you're in the mood for, which makes it easy to find something everyone will enjoy. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese and it definitely hit the spot. The meat was tender, the bread was perfectly toasted, and the au jus dip tied everything together. The portion was generous without feeling over the top. Beyond the food, the service was good and our waitress was friendly. I will say it felt like things took a while to come out but we were chatting the whole time so it didn't bother us too much. The drinks were also well made. The atmosphere is a nice balance between relaxed and elevated. It's just as fitting for a casual lunch with friends as it is for a date night or a family dinner. Overall, it's the kind of place that checks all the boxes: good food, great service, a comfortable ambiance, and a menu with something for everyone. I'll definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu!

Burtons has a neighborhood bar feel. The food is more extensive than simple bar food. I enjoyed the short rib which is much fancier than typical bar food. The short rib came with a nice broth. The only negative was that the dish was overly salty. Service was great and the bartender was very friendly. Nice spot to grab a meal.

This place was recommended in a Gluten Free group I am in. I was blown away by so many gluten free options. I went during lunch so service was pretty quick. I ordered the Gluten Free Philly Spring Rolls. I think these could have been fried a little longer but it was enjoyable. The onion rings on the side were nice. I could've used some more of those ;) The lobster roll, chef kiss!! However, I was looking for a gluten free soft roll instead of a gluten free bun. I wasn't a fan of that but I appreciated the experience. Not pictured is the 7layer gluten free cheesecake I took to go. That was pretty good until I poured the "red sauce" over my cake. That was not good. And I read another review that warned against adding it but I was so distracted by being in Gluten Free Paradise that I forgot about it. So please, pass on the red sauce and have your cake and eat it to :) Overall, I enjoyed my visit and will be back to work my way on another gluten free lunch.

We were visiting Buckhead and saw great reviews and ratings for Burtons and thought we'd order some takeout. When I called, I was using the menu from pictures in Yelp and i ordered the General Tsos chicken salad. As I was ordering another plate (Caesar salad), they asked if I wanted proteins and we said no. When I ordered the general tso they said the same thing and I thought this meant do you want "more" protein. So I said know. We got to the restaurant to pickup. There were two nice ladies at the front. There was no one waiting to be seated so the one lady asked if she could help and I told her my name and that I had a to-go order. She said she would go check. While we were waiting, a large group of people came in, multiple parties of people. I watched the lady bring back my order and put it on the counter and the other lady looked at it but kept seating the next person then the next person. She sat about 3 groups of people and then once the line was empty she turned and grabbed the bag and said my name and I paid and left. Now, I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't get upset or frustrated, but it just felt weird that she didn't ask all those people, who came in after me, to wait one moment while she billed me for the food and let me leave. It just seemed odd. As for the food, there was no chicken in my General TSos bowl. But I wasn't charged for it either. So it wasn't like I paid for chicken and didn't get what I ordered. I just felt it was a misunderstanding during the ordering process. My daughter had the Caesar salad and she said it was just ok. And I note this here becuase she eats a lot of salads and usually is okay with them all but she did call out that this one was not that tasty or fresh. My General Tsos Chicken Bowl with no chicken was actually very good and all of the things within the bowl were well seasoned and tasted great. I just missed having that grilled chicken there too.

Cheesesteak spring rolls w/ onion rings, calamari, firecracker shrimp

Gluten free mecca with an entire dedicated menu full of options separate from the regular one. It will take me 3-4 trips to get through everything I want to try, so this visit was appetizers only. I happily sat at the corner of a very clean bar, staffed by a happy bartender, and ordered 3 appetizers...because why not when in GF Rome? The calamari was solid (more corn meal texture than rice flour), but the firecracker shrimp and cheesesteak spring rolls (served with onion rings) were amazing! I had planned to bring lots home to the kids, however I couldn't stop eating. I did bring them home mac & cheese, which is the only thing I wouldn't order again. It' was perfectly fine, but more creamy than actually cheesy, and not worth a $10 price tag. Next on my list are the sandwiches and burgers - I haven't had a fried fish sandwich in forever! A little pricey, but well worth it for scratch fresh foods and gf in Buckhead. I will absolutely be back! Menu with a plethora of options is here: https://burtonsgrill.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Atlanta-Gluten-Free-Menu-SS-2026.pdf

GF Lobster roll, warm with butter, and truffle fries
J B.

Excellent gluten free options! Favorites include the Mediterranean risotto, which comes in two sizes. Loved the cauliflower appetizer. Chicken tenders were awesome too. The chocolate cake is divine. Also very good but wouldn't necessarily order again are the donut holes and lobster roll. Beautiful restaurant and great service.

warm Lobster Roll (Warm)

I went to Burtons for family dinner and I must say the experience did not disappoint. Our waiter Taylor was super helpful when recommending which food we wanted (this was our first time) and was super nice! The food did not disappoint! I ordered the warm lobster roll with truffle fries and it was delicious. My parents loved their salmon and my sister enjoyed the burger! The only downside was the wait time for our food. We had to wait for quite some time (40 minutes), but other than that everyone enjoyed their meals! I would definitely go back!

Seven-Layer Chocolate Cake

Had an awesome meal at Burton's! they have a HUGE gf menu wow. restaurant was packed on a Saturday night but service was still fast Had the California chicken sandwich with some delicious crispy sweet potato fries. All desserts on the menu are gf. The chocolate cake is covered in warm fudge and sea salt and tastes AMAZING. Will definitely be coming back!

Hey guys this place is all that! We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was a hit. We sat on the patio and were introduced to Kayla. And she is the best! Very attentive to diners needs as well as menu items. I had the ribeye with the garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. The misses got the Cajun pasta but it was salty so Kayla to the rescue! She took it away and the wife got the fried fish sandwich which was flavorful and extremely fresh. We started with the bread service which was very tasty , then we had the cheesesteak egg rolls and they are a must have as well. Great vibes, great food and awesome service thanks again Kayla!

However it made absolutely no sense once you have a seat & the waitress explains to you that you literally can not share not one slice of the ribeye with anyone at your table nor can they even have a French fry OR YOU WILL BE KICKED OUT the restaurant. I thought that was an immediate turn off. I feel like they could have maybe made that sound a lot more classy. One thing about me I'm going to try something in everyone's plate, especially if we all ordered differently. That was such a turn off. However, I did not order the all you can eat, in fact i ordered the same exact meal but as my dinner dish for 1 because realistically who is eating more then one once of ribeye along with a boat load of fries? I'm not. The bbq shrimp deviled eggs were good, if the shrimp was warm i feel like it would have tasted better. The oysters were really good, definitely enjoyed those. Ehh, the Ribeye i wouldn't go back to get in such a rush, the fries were crispy & well made. Now the lobster pasta!!! 10/10 nothing else needs to be stated for this dish! They also have a drink special that advertises $9 for the mini, makes absolutely no sense as it's about 3 sips & done, might as well order a regular martini to enjoy it with your meal.

WAS THIS A HIT OR MISS ???…read more It was a HIT I have been dying to try this place out for years and I figured I planned a lunch with a friend so we could spend the afternoon chitchatting and this was the perfect spot. So we were warmly greeted and then taken to a quiet table in the corner that had the whitest tablecloths. It looked rather chic Then we had the best server. She checked on us numerous times, didn't rush us and offered suggestions. She kept our table clear of mayhem from empty plates and glasses. Now the food was delicious. It was so good. The chicken was moist and the outside was crispy. The mashed potatoes melted in my mouth. Plus, we had a slice of 7up cake for dessert. I high recommend this place. Their breads and jams are particularly delicious, but my absolute favorite--and the most pleasant surprise--was the fried green tomatoes with goat cheese. They were incredible! For my entrees, I've tried the blue crab quiche and the frittata. Both were decent, though the crab quiche could have used a bit more flavor. My guests really enjoyed their orders, including the Springer Mountain chicken, Nashville bites, and the farm egg hash. Overall, it's a solid spot--clean and modern, with great baked goods and reliable service. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

My burger came with a Caesar salad which I love. I also enjoyed an old-fashioned. Our server was lovely and informative. However, my old-fashioned was yummy, but on the sweeter side. Next time, and I think there will be a next time, I will ask if they can make it less sweet. Also, the cherry was completely wrong. At least it wasn't good. I take my cherries very seriously in my old-fashioned. My burger was good and the Caesar salad was delicious. However, it just didn't hit the way that I had hoped. The restaurant was also out of Tabasco. They gave me a buffalo sauce which in my opinion was gross. I hope this restaurant finds its bold audacious way of telling the neighborhood who they are and what they offer. I feel like they're trying to figure out what the neighborhood wants. I'll give it a few months and come back. I work in the area. I was Just disappointed by the lack of WOW.

Then came the cornbread muffins with the "liquid gold" spun honey. Unbelievable. Hot, crumbly, and easily the best thing on the table. Whoever is running the pastry program in the back understands pure physics. I could've eaten a dozen of those alone. For the entree, I got the Spiced Maple Chicken & Grits - fried chicken tossed in maple hot sauce, grits, two eggs, benton's bacon, and scallions - along with a side biscuit and jam. Complete hit. The chicken had a great crunch, the heat-to-sweet ratio was locked in, and the grits were smooth. Biscuit was flaky and proper, too. Everything came out at a great time, and the presentation was amazing. It all looked very delicious. However, when I bit into my chicken biscuit, I got a lot of grease. In addition, I had asked if everything was an even swap, and she said yes, but when I paid, I saw an upcharge for my potatoes. All in all, I was very disappointed that the service was not as great as I experienced the first time. I was also disappointed that my food wasn't amazing.
