We Went for the first time Saturday for lunch. We were seated immediately. Service was a tad bit slow, but not enough to worry about. We were asked to switch tables after we were seated to allow them to accommodate a large party that came in. I had no real problem with that, especially since we didn't have food yet. I will say this is more a club atmosphere, the music was very loud, it was good music, just loud. If you were going to talk to more than the person next to you it would be hard. The food was great! My wife had the Caesar Wrap and it was really good. The fries in our opinion were undercooked. I had the French Toast Chicken sandwich and it was huge! The breakfast potatoes had a bit of an odd spice palette but not bad, also slightly undercooked. I just prefer a crunchier potato. I have to say they have an abundance of staff and they are ALL super friendly and helpful. My biggest issue was they added a 20% gratuity even though it was just two of us. I know everyone doesn't tip well, but I usually do and adding it automatically is a bit of an insult. The food is already priced at Atlanta prices, though we're in Douglasville, and then they 20% is added on top. The crab fingers were definitely my favorite -- perfectly seasoned and so flavorful. I also had a pancake, fried pork chop, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens, and everything was cooked really well and tasted fresh. For drinks, I ordered a mimosa and a lemon drop, and both were delicious. I really liked how smooth and balanced the drinks were together with the meal. I've been hearing about T's Brunch Bar for a while now because my manager raves about it, so when she offered to take me out to eat, I said let's go. I was a little apprehensive at first, only because of the 85 health score, but between the food and the service, that score quickly got overlooked! First, a shout out to Marquis. I can't recall her exact position, but I know she's a manager. I hope they move her to the Hiram location, because a new store starting out needs the energy she brings to the table. She was so kind and friendly, and that made the whole experience that much better. Our server was awesome as well, though for the life of me I can't remember her name. Just another reason to come back. Now let's talk about the real stars of the show: the bevs and the food. Fair warning, it's going to cost you. For two people it ran around $150, but for the amount and quality of food we got, it was worth every penny. Let's take off! Hartsfield Mimosa Flight ($40): Blueberry Lemon, Strawberry Lemongrass, White Peach, and Pineapple Mango. Each one was as strong as the last, but the Blueberry Lemon, which I saved for last, was something else. I usually take drinks to the head, but each of these got sipped, and that blueberry one lasted me until the end (possibly because the alcohol was hitting by then, but I digress). Now to the main course, the Oxtail Omelette ($28.95). I can't recall a time I had an omelette that didn't need condiments, and with an oxtail omelette I definitely didn't expect enough oxtail to satisfy the flavor or the hunger. To my surprise, it was packed full of oxtail, with clear evidence of spices and love. I didn't use a single condiment. No mustard, ketchup, hot sauce, nothing. It had the touch of a chef in the back who actually knows how to cook. Quite frankly, they could have charged double for the omelette alone, but no, there was more! The honey butter biscuit? Slap yourself. Then the cheese grits. I ate the grits first. Wrong move. They were good. No, I mean really good. So good I'm pretty sure they gave me another serving at no cost because I devoured the first. My family is from the South. We know grits. They know grits here, and God bless them for it. I also got a side of salmon croquettes. Bussin! Not quite like Grandma used to make, but dang near close. They go really well with the house sauce (I took extra home with me, it was that delicious). To round off the meal, we got an order of 3 Cinnamon Roll Biscuits ($7.95), because how often do you hear that every day? I love me some sweets, and this tickled my sweet tooth. They do take reservations (definitely make one if possible) but it didn't take long before we were seated. We just chilled at the bar while we waited. Reign was our server and she was friendly and helpful. The food was AMAZING!!! We ordered salmon croquettes, an oxtail omelette, biscuits with oxtail gravy, beignets with peach cobbler on the side, and 2 mimosa flights. The biscuits were so good I got an order to go!! Searching on yelp, by my surprise, i found out T's Brunch had a second location in Douglasville. As we walked in the door we were thrown off guard by the rap music blasting over the speakers. It's Sunday, Nothing against rap, but last week at the other location in college park, music was gospel. Could have just been timing. Okay. the lady behind the desk wasn't really polite. She took our reservation of 3 and said it will be a min. This was our first visit here, the place was crowded, so I didn't know if that minute meant sit down or hold on. So I asked her how long was the wait, she responded with agitation and said "about 5-10min, y'all can just sit down over there" with slight agitation and attitude in her voice. So my elderly parents were sat by the loud speakers and Dj. The table became available a few moments later. We ordered the cinnamon roll biscuits, fried green tomatoes, crab claws and veggie omelette. Well, just say I was embarrassed. I bragged all week about my previous experience at the college park location and now this food and experience was the exact opposite. Our biscuits were dry, not light and fluffy. Hardly any icing had to request an additional cup of icing. The fried green tomatoes were falling apart. Crab claws small and fried hard, the Cajun sauce for the egg omelette wasn't flavorful, the grits were dry and thick. The omelette was just okay. I was very, very disappointed with this experience. Went here today to have brunch on an off day. It was between them and another restaurant. I wish I would've went to the other spot. The restaurant is decorated nicely but the food wasn't good at all. Breakfast is meant to be made to order and the only thing that gave that was the chicken wings. We got the peach margarita which was on special. It didn't come out until after our food had arrived. I got the pancakes and chicken. The pancakes were flavorless and thick. Syrup didn't even help them taste good. The wings were hot and well seasoned. My partner got waffles and chicken wings. The waffle was thick and flavorless as well, we got a side of grits and eggs. The grits were stiff and lumpy. The eggs could have been so much better. Our experience at T Brunch Bar was just okay. We ordered the catfish and grits and the red velvet chicken and waffles. We arrived around 1:15 p.m. but didn't receive our food until about 2:30 p.m., which was a very long wait. When the food finally came out, the catfish and chicken were hot, but the grits and waffle were cold. One thing that caught us off guard was that the catfish and grits only came with one piece of catfish instead of two. It wasn't necessarily a problem, just something we weren't expecting. We also ordered two lemon drops, a mango and a strawberry. Unfortunately, there was a gnat in the strawberry drink, and there were quite a few gnats and flies around the restaurant during our visit, which took away from the experience. Our waiter, Brandon, was very kind and attentive. He checked on us and asked if there was anything he could do to make things right, but since the restaurant was closing at 3:00 p.m., we declined having the food remade. The owner also stepped in and worked to resolve the situation, which we appreciated, and we were satisfied with the resolution that was offered. When we were first seated, the manager didn't greet us or explain that there were no physical menus available, so we felt a little rushed trying to figure out what to order. We also weren't informed that an automatic 18% gratuity would be added to the bill, so seeing that charge at the end was unexpected. It would have been helpful if that had been mentioned upfront. Overall, Brandon's service and the owner's willingness to address our concerns were the highlights of our visit. However, the long wait, cold food, cleanliness issues with the gnats and flies, and lack of communication about the automatic gratuity made the experience average rather than exceptional. read more

I'd heard about the Cumberland location but didn't know they were in D'Ville! My family was in town and we had a mid-afternoon appointment so we went out for brunch. It's easy to park - street or downtown lots. The restaurant is charming - not too big but has plenty of tables and a fully stocked bar. The servers on the floor were gracious and sat us at our table of choice. We chose a booth at the back near the bar. Our server took time to warm up but was helpful and friendly. We gave our orders and didn't wait long for the food to come out. The breakfast sandwich with salmon was a hefty size. The seafood omelette didn't look that big but it was stuffed with shrimp, lobster and crab. I got the Chicken & Waffle - I chose the blueberry flavor. My sister got the oxtail gravy & biscuits with grits. Everyone was very pleased with the presentation and flavors. The oxtail gravy was lacking chunks of oxtail was the only drawback. We had to call waitress over quite a bit to address issues/concerns. The ( description noted 2 grits dishes... shrimp and grits and catfish and grits). We only had 1 small bowl to sample amongst 4-5 ppl. Grits were good and creamy but very little in serving size. The breading on all fried items was salty, whole wings were not seasoned enough and were rubbery, the waffles were soggy (maybe because they were laid on top of the lettuce...idk). Drinks were served warm ( not a good vibe for mimosas.) Sausages came out last as we were about to pack up and leave. Gratuity was already added to bill.
