The service and ambience is actually very good. Nice staff. The restaurant has a lot of energy, decent decor, fun vibes - I like that aspect of it. The food however in my opinion, offers a huge menu, the portions are large and aesthetically pleasing, it's not nasty, but it's not delicious either. It's kind of basic to me. I've been twice now, really wanted to like it. I had the same opinion, its somewhat mid tasting food. Coffee will put hair on your chest though! Maybe rating it a slightly less than Corky's, Denny's, or Norms. But nowhere close Brandon's, Broken Yolk or Carolyn's breakfast eateries. Though it's officially now a pass for me, I am glad to see lots of other positive reviews. Glad they enjoyed it! Much success! read more

The food is always excellent Andy's café. But that's not the best part about dining there. The best part of dining there is our waitress Breana M. Who is not only pleasant, kind and friendly, but a true professional. When we think about visiting Annie's café, we think about. Breana M. read more

Diners are my weakness! So when this opened up, I had to go try it out. Hooters used to be in this building, so glad a diner came in to take over the place. I went on a weekday and it wasn't busy so we got seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and attentive! Everything we ordered was delicious! From the chilaquiles to the coffee! I'm so glad that I came and tried this diner! I'll be coming here often when visiting my fam! read more

Service was great we got seated in less than 5 min and we had a group of 6. Food was served in a decent time and waitress was always checking if we needed something else. read more

My family and I came here for the first time. We are always hesitant about trying something new because our kiddo is on the spectrum. We don't know how she would react to new places and different food choices. However, Breana our server made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. We told her about our daughter's sensitivity to textures and she went above and beyond to make sure her needs were met. Recommended different plates and side dishes for her. Understood the importance of making sure our kiddo was well. And the dishes my husband and I got were also incredibly delicious. We will be coming here more often. And I want to thank Breana for making our first time here incredible! read more

Excellent service! We were really impressed by the great service and staff. Everyone pitches into take care of the customers! Lots of options for breakfast. I appreciate the smaller portion choices. We will be back soon.. read more

First time at this restaurant I was excited but then the coffee was like tar taste not fresh and my beans and salsa tested like can food . My husband ordered fish and chips just one too greasy tasted old fish deep fried. I also ordered a coffee cake . I got a small piece and all fell apart. The waitress never brought the tartar sauce and vinegar. Waitress had excuses for everything. Hit n miss I guess too expensive for this level of food. read more

If you want to try their food you are better off going to the Lake Elsinore location. Came here multiple times and the service was not good. Both times once the server took the order we never saw them again. Was not offered refills by anyone and we had to flag someone and still wait more to get our check. read more

Had a long wait for server. With 1 Little Special, cost and coffee, price was $14.00 to add a teaspoon of onions and peppers to the home fries was an additional $1.25. my son had the chicken and waffle and a chocolate milk. The bill with a tip was $50.00. Wait staff was friendly. We were there after the breakfast rush. Restaurant was clean, not much else! read more

I really don't understand the hype with this place. I ordered the country fried steak, and everything on the plate missed the mark. The crust had no flavor and was gummy, the steak was bland, the veggies tasted like they came straight from a frozen bag, and the country potatoes were overly salty. I couldn't even finish my meal because it was that bad. I even told my waitress the food wasn't good, and she completely ignored what I said, she just replied with "I'll bring you your check." No apology, no offer to fix anything. Maybe the breakfast is what everyone raves about, but I won't be returning to find out. read more

The food was excellent and the service was incredible! Highly Recommend! I love this place and I definitely will return!

Love Annie's Cafe in Riverside/Moreno Valley! All the staff is super kind and they work very hard to make you feel like you're home. Food is always good. Wish they has mentioned but do understand it was selling enough. I eat here very often with my husband, so often that they know us and welcome us with our favorite seat in the house. I would recommend this location to everyone, go by and try, you won't regret it. read more

Went here for breakfast. The place is nice with good ambience. The food however, was just alright, nothing great. The coffee tasted like it had been brewing from the previous day. We ordered the avocado toast which I will say was pretty decent. We also ordered the Hobo skillet. It was ok but too pricey for the portion size. The staff were very pleasant & polite. Won't be coming here again though. read more

We stopped by Annie's Cafe right after they opened (about 8 minutes past opening time) and had an absolutely wonderful breakfast experience with my two brothers. From the moment we walked in, the service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Katrina, our server, was fantastic, she greeted us with a big smile, answered every question we had about the menu, and took great care of us the entire time. It truly felt like a warm, inviting neighborhood spot. Drinks and food arrived incredibly fast with zero wait time. We saw some older reviews mentioning slow service and long waits, but on our visit it was the complete opposite... everything came out just minutes after we ordered. (We were lucky enough to beat the morning rush!) The food itself was outstanding. My steak and eggs were cooked to perfection and looked (and tasted) mouthwatering. One brother got the ham and eggs plate, which was beautifully presented and had a really nice balance of flavors. The other went for the breakfast burrito with a side of biscuits and gravy, the burrito was packed with flavor, especially with that freshly made warm salsa on the side. My brother said, "That burrito has no business being that f****** GOOD". All three of us cleaned our plates completely and couldn't stop raving about how good everything was. We'd happily recommend Annie's Cafe to anyone looking for a solid, delicious breakfast. Great service, quick food, and satisfying portions! We'll definitely be back soon! read more

Understanding this was their first open weekend and kinks need to get worked out, we didn't have a great welcoming experience. We walked in and were sat right away. The restaurant was not full. There was only one other group sat in our section. It took anyone to greet us once we sat down over 15 minutes. No water, no coffee, no nothing. We sat there looking at our menus, trying to make it obvious we were ready and we got nothing. We watched the servers all gather around and do some organized dance and then go back to whatever they were doing. My husband was ready to walk out and never come back. That sort of thing leaves a lasting impression. Our server, Daniel, finally came around. He apologized multiple times for the failure. Once the order was placed, it came fairly quickly. I had the corned beef hash and eggs and a slice of coffee cake. Corned beef hash was ok... it could have been cooked a little longer. The coffee cake was moist, but very sweet. I was told the pancakes were good, but not great. We really felt there was little in the way of "British" theming aside from once flag and a menu item that said it was "bangers". The music was really loud for first thing in the morning. I think the dancing felt more like an evening or dinner-time side show. Maybe we'll be back. Not sure. I'd like to see better acknowledgment of my existence at the table by the staff. Daniel was great, he knew how to read his customers. Someone should have communicated with him there were customers sitting in his section so we weren't sitting there so long. read more

Went around 11 on a saturday morning and got sat immediately! We tried the mimosa flight and it was delicious, especially the apple pie one, that was my favorite! Our server, Jessica, was amazing and took great care of us. The only downside was the food, it really didn't have much seasoning. At least in the carnitas skillet.. Overall still a good experience, but the flavors in the dishes could definitely be improved. read more

1st time at Annie's in Moreno Valley. Stopped with my lady for breakfast, they have a huge selection of breakfast entries. But as I looked over the whole menu, one item caught my eye. The Monte Cristo. Mind you I have given up ordering them as im always disappointed. But one line tempted me, (we will deep fry it it if you want) and of course that is the only proper Monte Cristo. When the sandwich came to the table it looked amazing, like a true flashback to the time I feel in love with this type of sandwich. It was served by our wonderful server Breanna. The tast was amazing. Can't wait to came back again for another. If you're a true fan of a great Monte Cristo, and your in the area of Moreno Valley. Annie's is a must stop. You won't be disappointed. read more

Delicious new cafe in the Moreno Valley/Riverside area. LOTS of options. Also, I am gluten intolerant, so I was shocked to find out they had gluten free pancakes and toast! Which were delicious by the way. They're not advertised on the menu, so you have to ask. I went 2 days in a row so that should tell you something lol. The staff is incredibly friendly. We had the pleasure of meeting Carlos, who gave us a quick history of the Cafe. Will definitely make this breakfast place a routine visit. read more

I've been here three times in the past month, that's basically a relationship at this point. Tried four different dishes so far, and every single one's been a hit hot, fresh, and fast. The staff? Attentive and polite. Highly recommend the chilaquiles with carnitas, the Carnitas Plate, or the breakfast burrito all winners. And do yourself a favor: get the coffee cake. Don't share it. I visited Annie's Café and ordered the grilled chicken Caesar salad. Our server, Breanna, was very nice and the service started off great -- food came out warm and fresh. The manager, Brock helped the food runner with the food and he happened to bring me my salad. Unfortunately, while I was just starting to eat my salad, I found a dead fly inside. It completely ruined my appetite and honestly made me gag. The busboy came over to address it, which I feel should have been handled by a manager. I was offered something else, but I respectfully declined because I was already grossed out. Our server kindly removed the salad from the bill, which I appreciated, but overall the experience was upsetting. Sadly, I won't be returning. I would apply the photo , which we feel bad because I know it was an honest mistake I really wanted to love this new spot since it just opened, and I hope they tighten up on quality control. The staff was very nice , another busboy asked "was there anything wrong with the food?" While he was cleaning our table, he even apologized but they do need better management service. read more

The place was super busy but they were able to seat us very quickly. The menu is huge so there is definitely something for everyone. It has a county style on the inside. I got the hawaiian french toast and it was huge for the price, just keep in mind you would have to order eggs & bacon the side. The mimosas were also great and they had unique flavors read more

Annie's finally came to Riverside!!! Beyond thrilled for one of the best breakfast & lunch restaurants to be open near our house. Every meal I try from the menu seems to hit all the right buttons for flavor. Hawaiian French Toast and the Chilaquiles are still the go to alongside the unreal coffee cake! We called ahead and asked if there was a wait time. They told us yes and asked if we would like to be placed on the waitlist. I liked how we were able to placed on the waitlist by phone. As we were sat down we got our waitress and ordered our drinks. I did notice the floor was a bit dirty but it was busy inside so they could have missed it. The drinks came in fast and she left for about 10 minutes until she took our order. We got the hobo skillet and the crunchy French toast. We explained to our waitress how we were splitting our food and wished they told us about the portion size because we were a bit disappointed with the skillet. The French toast had a great portion size and very yummy. We waited almost an hour for our food and only once were we checked up on. The surrounding table came in after us and got their food before us (they had ordered more food than us.) We got the skillet first and had to wait another 10 minutes for our French toast. We noticed after we left we never got our sourdough bread. I feel the waitress noticed I was a bit upset and she started to check up on us more. We finished our food and tried finding our waitress for another good 5-8 minutes until a different server came by. They gave us the receipt and told us to wait so they can get the payment machine but went to the table who came after us! I just ended up scanning the receipt and paid by my phone and manually put in my tip but when I got my final receipt I was charged a different tip amount. This whole experience was very interesting to say. I understand that the restaurant was busy but why were we waiting longer than the rest? Was it because we're young or for other reasons? As of right now we will not be coming back but hope the next time we go, it would be a better experience. read more
