This place is perfect for a large group! There may be a wait but you're able to order an adult beverage while waiting which is a plus. They have a huge menu selection of food which is great. I ended up getting the chilaquiles w fried egg, it was very tasty and the chilaquiles is not soggy. My bf ordered the huevos divorsiado Benny which was also delicious. The two sauce that came with it was delicious. We didn't get any mimosa but we got some Bloody Mary w gin - it was made inconsistently but we figure it out - make sure they add Worcestershire sauce!! Would come back here again to try their other things!

Full disclosure: I don't care for breakfast foods! Once and a while I do crave some eggs benny!! Now the man can eat breakfast any time of the day. So I thought I should give in and check this place out for breakfast. Granted they have other offerings such as Carnitas, Burgers and crepes!! They offer sooooo many flavored mimosas: Mango Coconut, Cherry Bomb, Paloma, Passion Mango and more!! $30 for a bottle of Korbel! This place gets very busy on the weekends with limited seating. They offer outdoor seating!

Great food! Chilaquiles was well made and had a good flavor - not too spicy either. The steak was cooked great and the mushrooms added great flavor. I also enjoyed a coffee. The waitress was super nice and checked in on us a lot

This place is a true gem, this is a family run business and it really shows that they pride themselves in a great atmosphere, amazing service and incredible food that tastes like it was made in my grandmas kitchen and everything is sprinkled with love, we left full and excited for our next visit

Just learned of this local restaurant and based on the reviews, went for late (10:00am) breakfast today. Well located on Placerville Drive in Placerville suburbia. Parking is ample although located on two levels. We received an immediate smiling welcome and were quickly seated. It was busy for a Wednesday mid-morning. The restaurant is comfy with lots of spacing between tables, has nice bar seating as well as an outdoor patio with picnic-style tables and umbrellas. Very clean and new looking interior - yes the restroom was very clean too. The menu is extensive and mostly breakfast items and includes several yummy sounding Mexican-inspired dishes. There is also a good selection of lunch sandwiches, salads, etc. While we had a primary server we were also cared for by other servers and staff. All very friendly and experienced. Service is top notch and feels very homey. I ordered the Breakfast Sampler that included pancakes, sausage links, bacon, hashbrowns and 2 eggs. Sweetie ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs - also included hashbrowns and toast. Food was okay although some misses - bacon VERY overcooked, soft scrambled eggs not soft, cream gravy pretty bland and fried cube steak just okay. Pancakes were the star of the show - ample sized, nice and fluffy and served with real butter (alas corn syrup). Given everything, I'm rating an overall four as service, location, decor, etc. were all 5's. Food was a 3 with pancakes a 5. Next time I will be trying some of the mexican-inspired dishes.

OK, we've been around Placerville for five years and I've never stopped and checked this place out…read more It's kind of hidden and you can definitely walk past it and miss it.. but we stopped by today cause we were craving sandwiches and let me tell you their selection is definitely different but their sandwiches are 15 out of 10. The owner is there working like a badass and he's got such rad staff !! Go get yourself a sando! Caution, though, if you are not somebody who is open-minded with food or a foodie stay away because these sandwiches are different and they're big and they're just amazing

Stopped by this sandwich shop on the way up to Apple Hill. Saw the Yelp reviews and looked…read morepromising. It's basically a walk up in a small plaza with some tables. Cute spot. Definitely good for people watching. Got a couple sandwiches: Banh Mi - seeing the list of ingredients I was excited for this one. Never seen a place use lap chung in banh mi. The sandwich itself was kind of underwhelming. First of all, it's not on a French roll. Because of this, the moisture from the slaw soaked the entire bottom bun, making it difficult to eat. Also, the lap chung was slice into small coin sized pieces, rather than lengthwise, which means it all fell out when you tried to eat the sandwich. All the ingredients inside pretty much masked the taste of the sausage so you really didn't get the taste. I didn't get how this was supposed to be a banh mi. Honey Walnut - this was ok. Kind of standard honey walnut. In theory this sounded great but it's a tad rich and needs something to cut through it. There were a ton of other sandwiches and maybe we should've tried others but for the two we got it was just alright.

Stopped by for breakfast on Sunday right at opening after camping and definitely beat the morning…read morerush. Service was instantly friendly and fast. Felt like we were coming over to a family member's house for a meal like we do every Sunday. We ordered the breakfast burrito (eggs were super soft and each bite was evenly distributed between all the fillings), lake Finnon omelette (lots of sweet savory ham), and the fluffiest buttermilk pancake. We also got a warm cup of coffee, refreshing lake Finnon sunrise, and a fried doughnut (doughnut was the perfect amount of sweet and crunch). We also loved the sweet fruits and potatoes which were fried to a nice crisp with soft interior. Place is super clean and quaint. We will definitely stop by every time we are in the area. Can't wait to try their lunch menu!

The service was extremely friendly and you can tell that everyone was excited to make something great. I got the grilled Brie sandwich with mushrooms and caramelized onions and I added bacon but I should have added a patty. It was a good sandwich but needed some extra crunch, like apple/pear slices if not adding a patty. My boyfriend got the pulled pork sandwich and he absolutely loved it. The sauce had an orange tang that worked really well. The French fries were super salty and hot and fresh and we really enjoyed our meal. The views outside were great! Inside was clean but the real views are outside.
