Dang what happened to this place came in on a Sunday and it wasn't even busy the new woke employees are so freaking slow ordered at 10:24 wasn't ready until 10:50 ‍

Great bagel place in the heart of Placerville! They have tons of bagels for breakfast, but they are also a great place for a bagel sandwich for lunch! Friendly staff, fast service. They have tables inside and out for lots of seating options.

Food is great, I enjoyed my lunch! I ordered the Turkey Pesto Melt which was delicious! The bagel was super soft and fresh and all the fresh ingredients made my melt feel refreshing and light. The best part is the toppings were not skimped on at all and didn't get drowned out by a heavy bagel. The service was super fast and nice, and it was completely empty during lunch time which surprised me. Definitely added to the list for a quick lunch! I'm excited to try the other lunch sandwiches that are offered.

    Full English

I stopped by this location for breakfast on 8/24/2025 at 10 am . ordering the full English on a Parmesan bagel from their menu. Unfortunately, the cashier seemed uncertain about the order, asking multiple questions despite my straightforward request. When I asked to review the order, she appeared unfamiliar with the process, struggling to even print the receipt for me to review. If she is in training , I would suggest to have someone next to her until she feels comfortable. They have both inside and out side sitting area . Inside was so cold . I had to wait for 20 minutes for the sandwich be ready even thought the place was not crowded at all. The called my name as Marvin . How did I knew it is mine , because noOne claimed it . I asked is it the full English ? T they said yes . The breakfast itself was ok but given that I was just passing through the city on my way to San Francisco, I won't have the opportunity to return. Even if I were to find myself in the area again, I'm afraid this experience wouldn't prompt me to come back.

    The best bagels!

The bagels! Fresh ingredients, great service! The best food in town! The owner is awesome too! Support small business!

Where to start... first of all the display of the case and the store is awful. Customer service sad for how many people work there. Here's where is bad.. BLT Really easy to make bacon lettuce tomato got mayonnaise and mustard. How about two pieces of bacon for paying almost $10 absolutely break ridiculous didn't even eat it. I've tried this place a couple times and every time I've been here I've been disappointed by the lack of effort in the staff and how they represent their case. It looks absolutely disgusting and dirty and messy but my food today was even worse, will not

    Green egg

I've been to this place twice. On my first visit, I ordered the burrito with salsa. When I say it was drowned in salsa, I mean it was completely submerged. I couldn't taste any other part of the burrito, and it became soggy. This time, I opted for the bacon, egg, and cheese burrito without salsa. Surprisingly, the egg was green throughout the entire burrito.

Cute little bagel /coffee spot in town. I could tell how slammed they were so I didn't get a bagel. I opted for tea & a danish they offered to warm up. The lady ringing me up was sweet& pleasant. I definitely will be back and will try to get a bagel. (One of the girls in the back clearly was in a mood, and was scolding that poor girl at the front).

We stopped by here on our way to Bassi Falls. We thought it was a really good breakfast, warm and tasty. We'll probably come back here if we're in the area again. The service is quick and friendly. The dining is spacious and clean.

They serve organic coffee and I could really taste the difference. They currently have a seasonal menu and their regular menu included some unique options. The maple latte caught my eye; I ordered it with oat milk and it was one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had. Seriously! It wasn't overpoweringly sweet, but there was enough flavor so it actually tasted like a maple latte instead of a warm milk as many special drinks end up tasting from my experience. It's always disappointing to buy an expensive coffee that doesn't have enough flavor, but you'll get what you pay for here. They offer a few little snacks and there is tons of seating (indoor and outdoor!) with beautiful natural light, art and plants. The baristas were kind and helpful and made beautiful latte art. If you love it as much as I did, you can even buy coffee beans and merchandise as well. It's tucked away in downtown placerville and I would highly recommend Pachamama to everyone!

This particular one is in Placerville, right on touristy Main Street. Well It's actually tucked in a shopping pedestrian alley right off Main Street. The coffee is delicious. I've had their various drip coffees before, all terrific tasting. My usual go to's are their lattes. This time I was in the mood for a seasonal winter drink, wintermint mocha. Yum! I ordered it with oat milk and they don't up charge. The mocha had a smooth, creamy chocolate espresso taste. I even got a pretty design of foamed milk on top of my drink. Aww it was cute. No up charge for that as well and I didn't even ask them to do it Outside the cafe is an outdoor courtyard with bistro tables for folks to sit n enjoy their coffee or whatever. I say whatever because the area is open for all to sit a spell. The courtyard is enclosed with brick buildings around its square perimeter. The buildings provide ample shade and cooling temps in the summer. Plus there is a water fountain that provides a calming zen like sound of trickling water. The cafe also has an indoor seating area. The interior furniture includes tables, sofas, lounge chairs, and high top tables aesthetically giving off modern, minimalist Scandinavian design vibes. Luvin this look.

Ever since their opening back in 2016, this has been a wildly popular spot to enjoy inside or on-the-go with their convenient drive-thru. Located right next to a Quik Stop gas station and a Subway, this place is conveniently at the corner of Diamond Rd (Highway 49) and Pleasant Valley Rd in the small community of Diamond Springs. I also wanted to mention that they have very generous hours of operation being opened Monday through Saturday from 5:30am to 4:30pm while being closed on Sunday. I ended up coming here during the afternoon of Saturday 6/15/2024 at around 2:15pm. Since this was well past the morning rush, there were no other customers inside and not a single vehicle parked directly outside. As far as the exterior layout, it uses freestanding rocks which gives it a castle-like appearance. The interior though is very impressive as they've utilized the walls with floral-type balconies, a large painting with more floral arrangements surrounding it, and vintage furniture which has a very nostalgic look as if you've stepped back in time. I also wanted to point out that there is a spacious outdoor sitting area for the most comfortable days. First and foremost, the menu here is quite impressive with a huge selection of coffees, espressos, teas, quenchers, blended drinks, and smoothies. They also carry a nice assortment of breakfast sandwiches, bagels, burritos, croissants, and crepes. And for the lunch crowd, they even offer pizza, pasta, soup, and traditional sandwiches. I ended up ordering a slice of their pepperoni pizza with a small mango smoothie while my significant other went with a bacon, egg, & cheddar bagel with an iced Americano. Our drinks were ready within a couple minutes while our food came shortly thereafter. I will say that the mango smoothie was delicious as it was refreshing without being too overbearingly sweet. However, the pizza was just okay for me as it was a bit on the soggy side and not too crisp. Same goes with the bagel as there were more small clumps of bacon (instead of full-cut bacon). And the eggs, they resembled more of a processed scramble egg with a perfectly cut square; I have a feeling it might be frozen and heated to save time. However, the bagel was good and had nice texture to it. Still at $10 for the breakfast bagel, this was a bit on the pricier side. All in all, "Love Birds Coffee & Tea Co." is a decent place that has a lot of character and charm to it. The young staff working here were very kind, courteous, and accommodating while the ambiance is definitely a home run in my book. I'd stick with the coffee as this is their strong point. But for a stop before work or even if you're heading to Tahoe or the foothills, this is a decent above average business. My rating, four stars.

Brought to you by the family-owned, upscale and very successful, Nugget chain of grocery stores. I became very well acquainted with the Nugget markets living in Davis. There were two stores not far from each other and they were always packed. I shopped at the smaller one as it was closer to my home. It is literally the only place I ever shopped for food.I cannot imagine shopping anywhere else. When I moved to El Dorado Hills 5 years ago... thank goodness there was a big and beautiful Nugget a mile and half away. My point is all Nugget markets are quite incredible. Nothing compares to them. Excellent quality, in-house prepared food, bakery... TDF, floral, meat department, liquor, and fabulous fresh produce section. Fork Lift is to me like the Nugget markets on steroids! I was astonished at the size of the store and cool inside architectural design. Yes it is hip! Super clean, well stocked in everything. Organized. Quite impressive. And the same great departments as I mentioned above that are available in the Nugget stores are right here too! The chatter is that the Fork Lift offers many discounted prices but honestly, I never see them. Then I heard the lower priced items are strategically placed in and around the store. Who knows. I enjoy taking the drive up the hill to Cameron Park occasionally just to wander around and marvel at this shopping mecca! Easy exit off the freeway and fast to find. Plenty of parking.
