So at first, I thought this was Korean chicken place. Then I was invited to an all-you-can-eat outing here for a group lunch, which I thought was interesting as I only know of Korean BBQ places offering AYCE. I walked in and immediately realized it is now run as an Indian restaurant due to the intense incense aroma. Sometimes perceptions really are more important. When you expected A but received B, you feel off. So even though some of the fried chickens really aren't bad, somehow I felt "deceived", because, maybe I wasn't in the mood for Indian that day? I don't know. Services definitely is warm like spices and the original fried chicken is moist, I was still a bit turned off by the incense burning. I'm glad I've checked Angry Chicken off my list.

It's about three years ago when I first tried @angrychickrn_aurora. Now they're about 9 years old and my tune have changed. They're still slinging chicken different ways. Their chicken's good. I am definitely rooting for their Angry Chicken Lettuce Wrap. But what stole my heart was their Baked Wings with Angry Buffalo ( spicy)sauce on the side. The Angry Chicken Biryanis came in a close third. A bit heavy if you think of the Bastmati rice with it. You can definitely have this alone for lunch or dinner. The Green Onion Boneless Chicken was a bit dry but still good. The Angry Watermelon was my fave with its clean tasting watermelon forward cocktail! We tried the following: Angry Watermelon Watermelon Soju, Watermelon Puree, Spicy Tamarind Vodka, Lime, Sprite Baked Wings with Angry Buffalo Green Onion Boneless Roast Chicken with Spicy Soy Angry Chicken Biryani Juicy Chicken and fragrant Basmati Rice dance together in a symphony of spices that tantalizes every taste bud! Angry Chicken Lettuce Wrap Fresh and crunchy wraps packed with flavor and wholesome ingredients for a guilt-free delight!

Out & about, we decided to try out angry chicken. It's been on our list of new places to try out, plus I was really craving fried chicken. This chicken spot, threw me a little off guard in the best possible way. I wasn't expecting the menu items, dipping sauces, or for that matter Indian food options on their menu. They also offer tons of gluten free options which is a huge plus. The 1/2 Fried chicken was spot on. It was fried to perfection, hot, juicy, crispy & just all the things you need a good fried chicken to be. All the dipping sauces were good loads of gluten free sauces to choose from as well. My favorite was the honey garlic out of the bunch we ordered. I also ordered the angry chicken trio, curry chicken & tandoori wings were solid, coconut rice was fragrantly delicious. The service here is alright, the restaurant in itself is clean & tidy. If you're in the area stop in, order all the wings, & try some new unexpected Indian dishes. Definitely don't skip the fried chicken, sauce it up & enjoy!

Just went to try the fried chicken with no sauce or anything. Chicken was moist on the inside and a great crunch on the outside but not much flavor. I also tried the boneless with the honey garlic sauce. Very tiny Nuggets and the sauce was dull. Tried the fried rice as well. Just ok. Maybe I need to try something else.

Looked this place up on Yelp! and glad I found it. The service is amazing and very pleasant. We got 50% off the chicken bone in wings. The flavors were original, honey garlic, lemon pepper and Cajun. All of them were good, however honey garlic was amazing! The waitress found out it was my daughter's birthday and gave her a slice of chocolate cake that was decadent. They even turned on Happy birthday music which was great! The angry rolls were so soft. And great with the cinnamon sugar. I will definitely be back!

I stopped by for a Yelp event the day before and I just kept thinking about the Salt and Vinegar fried chicken so I had to order a DoorDash order the next day so my sister can try it too. The chicken was still super crunchy when it arrived at my door. And it was hot and you can smell it. Delicious. The salt and vinegar is still my favorite. The bbq sauce drizzled over Korean fried chicken was delicious. The honey garlic is a classic favorite that still stands out. Very nice staff and the owner is such a nice person and super friendly. I've had the original chicken at the food truck previously. Overall delicious local Korean fried chicken place in Colorado.

I think it's called Angry fried rice. That's a omelette on top.

I ordered a Fried Rice dish to go. My total was $16.19. I have the lady $20.00. She goes to get change and gives me $3.00. I tell her that she owes me .81 cents. She tells me that the management rounds everything up basically keeping your change. I told her that is blatant stealing. She told me to talk to management. She tried to justify stealing from me. I told her that's illegal. Long story short she gave me my money and said she will speak to the owner! Which I doubt. I was told it came with soy sauce. I didn't get it and no fork or spoon either. I haven't tasted the food because I don't have a utensil and I'm not going back in to complain because they acted like I was trippin when I asked for my change. Probably won't be going back as the prices are fair but still somewhat expensive as everything else. Update: I tasted the fried rice. It is pretty good and it has kimchi in it. Not sure if I spelled it right. I'll update the stars from 3 to 4.

I came back as promised before, but this time with my family. I couldn't wait for them to try the chicken wings at Angry chicken. We ordered 40 piece wings. Our first order came out quickly, hot and fresh wings were served. Yummy! I ordered honey garlic, original, habanero and spicy soy wings. All of them delicious as always, my family really enjoyed it. The service was a little slow but it's because there were many tables to attend just for two servers. Bathrooms were clean, and also the dinning area was nice and neat. Our server was really friendly and helped us out choosing more flavors. I guess this will be our next favorite spot for hot wings in Aurora. I totally recommend Angry chicken when you are craving delicious, fresh and crunchy chicken wings. I'll be back again and again and again...

Service was phenomenal!! We didn't eat a wing that we didn't enjoy. The mango habanero was my favorite. Owner gave shots and even celebrated with every table. It felt like we were at family's house for dinner. I will absolutely be back and you'd be missing it if you didn't try. Go during happy hour and bring a few friends

I had the soy garlic chicken that could've used more sauce, mashed potatoes with spicy gravy, kimchi, and flavored basmati rice. Maybe I ordered too many things that didn't belong together (Korean, American, and Indian) so the flavors didn't pair well. Food took a long time to come out, probably around 20-25 mins)

1st I would like to say I did not know it was a new ownership. They kept the Korean fried chicken but added their twist. Indian some of the food option had curry that I notice. Over the chicken was good. Different from previous owner couldn't put my finger on it. We got the mango habanero buffalo it was drenched in sauce and chicken came out hot. Definitely didn't have the mango habanero just a of kick mostly from the buffalo Our other sauce was honey garlic definitely all honey no garlic it was drenched and way too sweet of course all honey. We also ordered angry fried rice. It had a good flavor we liked it there was an egg on top and someone go heavy handed on the salt. Did not like that. Over all food was good definitely not like it use to be. Service was good. Same layout almost same decor there are now plastic table covers which just was annoying our hot plate would stick to it. Just weird.

New ownership as of Aug 1, 2024. Noticeable differences upon arrival are that 90% of the tables now have table cloths/coverings and no more hip hop/R&B music replaced with country and and easy listening. The temperature in the restaurant is cold, I grabbed a light blanket from the car to be comfortable but the food cools off fast because of it. The fried chicken seemed the same but the amount of sauce was definitely less. The heartbreaker for me was the wellbeing chicken, similar flavor but the crisp skin just wasn't there. The staff was kind and even brought samples of their mango Lassi for us to try. Will we be back? Maybe, but if im going to drop $100 on 2 chickens and a couple side I want amazing food and experience.

Salt and vinegar wings and small fries

I've stopped by here for lunch 3 times in the past two weeks. Their chicken wings are jumbo size compared to bdubs or wingstop. They have a great special on wings for Tuesdays and happy hours. The Salt and Vinegar dry rub was amazing and were recommended to me by another guy I met at the ramen shop in the same shopping center.

Is there anything vegetarian at this restaurant?

Yes! Garlic Noodles, Dduki bokki (spicy rice cakes), sides like fries, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, slaw, corn salad, etc

Does the chicken here have the fish sauce taste? I've had Korean fried chicken that overpowered me with it. I was hoping for a savory slice without the underlying taste of fish sauce.

Not at all! At least not to my palate. And I once had to send back a donburi bowl (at a different place in another state) because I could taste fish in what was supposed to be chicken, rice and egg. My husband couldn't taste it but I could. And it… Read more

At least for lunch combo, the thoughtful assortment of main dish and side dishes as well as soup of the day are very satisfactory. Their food is little bit more on a savory side compared to other Korean restaurants who use too many spices. Before I met Baekga, i was pretty disappointed in local franchises of Korean eateries in Colorado, but Baekga not only they have very calm and toned down atmosphere for pleasant meals, it is the venue I would actually bring my visitors to. The location is little far for me to explore their dinner menus but I would love to when I am nearby next time. Champagne kimchi was inspiring. I never had any kind of Kimchi taste like this. I really praise for the creativity. It would be a good pair with a variety of food such as charcuterie board, katsu, sausage dish, barbecue, and simple with wine! I personally liked Dakgangjeong, Beef radish soup (soup of the day), and champagne kimchi from my visit. Frankly, this venue maybe a polarizing Korean restaurant especially for Korean natives, but I personally think this venue deserves more recognition compared to other local Korean franchise in Denver/Aurora who just serve the food items but not the sincerity and/or creativity.

When it's mixed with the onions and veggies and rice, everything tastes really good combined. I would skip on the pancakes because they were a little burnt. I love a good hot stone bibimbap because of the crispy rice and this was CRISPY. I loved it. The side dishes were the perfect compliment to the dishes too. I will say my only complaint is the beef wasn't as flavorful as some other places but with how much food they're cranking out with only 2 people, they're doing a pretty great job. Despite all the people coming in and the people eating, the lady in the front was still happy and let people know there would be at least a 30 min wait to get seated.
