Highly recommend Angels Tree Service! I was looking to have 4- 25ft Palm trees pruned, and dead palms and bark cut off. I received multiple quotes on Yelp, most ranging from $70-$140/per tree (yikes). Angel responded within 24 hours to quote and came in the least expensive by far; 25+% less than my 2nd least expensive bid. He had Saturday availability and said between 8:30-9AM. He called us at 8AM to say he was on his way and was here before 8:30, ready to start. Prompt! One man trimmed tree while other supervised and held ladder. They finished all palms/cleanup within an hour and half and cleaned up everything in yard. The ground was completely covered with bark and dead palms to a nice, air blower finish with no remains. Don't be fooled by some of the good reviews. In early September my wife hired them to cut down a big old tree in the backyard...they came over (both smelling like alcohol), changed the price on us, asked for more money several times, and spent the majority of the time drinking beer in our yard. We were so disappointed with the quality of work and the lack of communication. Look elsewhere. read more

These did an awesome job on trimming our 30ft Queen palm and cutting down three 20ft giant Bird of Paradise. Our back yard looks so much cleaner without all the palm seeds falling everywhere. We have two overgrown pine trees in need of pruning. I got several quotes off of Yelp and Angel quoted a fair, low price. We scheduled a date and he and his crew came out and did an excellent job of trimming off low branches and thinning out the upper branches, dramatically improving our westerly view. He informed me of some fungus issues with the trees and quoted me a reasonable price to treat the trees. They cleaned up and hauled away the debris. I hired Angel's Tree Service to remove a large fallen pine tree from ours and my neighbor's back yard. He gave me a price to remove, including root ball, and said it would be a three day process ( it was big). After day two he told me that the root (which was exposed because it came up when the tree fell) was bigger than he expected (??) and would take more time, so my neighbor and I agreed to pay him more money. He and his crew spent most of their days drinking and very little time working. The communication on his end about which days they would be working was also really poor. At the end of it, they left a huge pile of stumps and branches in my neighbor's yard that I now need to contract a debris hauling service to remove. Terrible service. read more

So I decided to use Angel's Tree Service because he was very quick in responding and had immediate availability to do my project. His bid was tied for the lowest bid, but his availability was the quickest so I went with him. Angel was very professional and showed up on time with 2 other colleagues in 2 vehicles to help with my project. While they were only able to grind less than half of the stumps I needed grinding, they did use picks and axes to chop up everything below. Removed a tree. Good price but did not finish in one day, then told me they would be back Friday. They came back Thursday instead when I wasn't home and without letting me know they were coming a day early. Honest mistake on my end, I filled out one the checks improperly so they need to come get a new check. I told him I'd be home Friday, he agreed to come on Friday. The next day he asks when I'd be available Thursday, I told him no, we said Friday, and I gave my availability Friday (all day). Friday is now today, it is 4:00 and he hasn't come. Angel responded to my request for a quote quickly. He came out the same day as did three other companies and his quote was the lowest. It was 1/3 the cost of the highest quote. I wanted two oak trees thinned and trimmed, two smaller trees removed plus poison oak removed all at the bottom of my slope on the other side of a short chain-link fence. I noticed them finishing some work across the street two hours later and was told by Angel that he knew when the appointment time was but he didn't bring the necessary equipment with him, and the truck was too full for additional work. Angel came in the lowest bid of 5. His team was efficient. They did a careful job trimming 8 palms, some very tall. He lowered the seed pods with a rope so as not to damage any irrigation, bushes or other items on the ground. He shaped a huge ficus and thinned it out perfectly. This company does not have a chipper, so trimming my palm trees meant many trips to the dump today and a long day of them sawing the palm fronds into smaller area to fit into their pickup truck. I wish I did not hire them.. They have been in and out of here all day and going on dump runs.. So far more drive time then trimming time.. Angel said he had a chipper, but showed up without it.. When they got hear I asked him where the chipper was to which they told me was broken. PS, the dump charges a lot of money for palm frond dumps, nothing for shredded debris.
