New owner... been coming here for years and they were great! Today I was charged double for all my normal services.

Their nails are crap I've had on for less then a week 3 nails have already broken off and the seams on the sides of the nails are taller than the nails themselves. Went in to get them redone for free for such a crappy job they did and was told they could only replace the broken nails and asked me to come back the next day. I will never return The lady said that her Manager was not in but she is the one who did my nails and said that day to me that she was the manager. She I'm sure says this a lot because she doesn't want to deal with the issues that she did in the first place. She wouldn't even look at the other nails when I told her about them. Really really bad business practices and very shady. I should have just stayed with Happy nails as they do the best job and I've never had a complaint with them at all. $60.00 dollars is a big lesson to learn to never trust people with your nails when you. Ask them three different times the price of your full set and they raise it every time I even called her on it and she bold faced lied to me and told me she never said those prices. I just got a full set without gel or anything fancy. $60.00.... spend your money wisely and don't use this business. Like I said I tried to rectify the situation with them and their fix wasn't comprehensive about the issues that were going on with the nails in the first place..... I would post pics of the side of my fingers but they aren't turning out. Oh and by the way they don't tell you till the end of the nails being done that they only accept cash and then make you use their ATM machine that's there in their building. read more

Can I give zero stars? Talk about the worst nail experience I've ever had. Went in here on a Friday, the place was empty, that should have been a sign. Took my chances because it was the closest place to my house and also to my job. I figured if it was a good experience then I would come here again. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Within three days of getting my gel nails done they chipped and peeled. I went in and had them fixed, and now two days later I am sitting here with two more chipped and peeling nails. So I went in to show them my nails and ask for my money back. Both times I came in, the gentleman, I can't even really call him a gentleman, was very condescending and rude. He accused me of being rough on my nails and basically told me that it was my fault that my nails were chipping. He refused to give me back my money, and I told him I suppose the only thing I could do then is go online and write bad reviews. So here I am. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. There's actually an awesome nail place over off of Queensgate near Bob's burgers and brews that did a fantastic job on my nails last time, and is now the only place I will ever go. read more

I will never go back. My daughter and I got a pedicure and manicure. The guy and gal that did our nails were not trained. They didn't follow normal protocol for doing nails such as washing hands, forgetting to put on cream on the hands, then trying to do that after putting on polish. The guy kept talking to another employee and not looking at what he was doing. He was using the cheese grater with vigor but kept looking away and not paying attention to the task. The most frustrating part of the visit was that neither one could read the labels on the bottles. They kept checking with each other on clear bottles to figure out if they were putting on the correct product. Who knows what they used!! Awful. read more

My wife walked in to Angel's Nails the other day to check out their services and prices and was greeted warmly by the staff. About a month prior, she visited another nail place in the mall called Hi-Tek Nails that not only botched the nail job, but left my wife with her fingers red and throbbing with pain. When she showed the staff at Angel's her nails and explained about her horrific experience at Hi-Tek Nails, the nice lady took her in immediately and repaired all the damage and did a beautiful job on her nails. To top things off, she did it all at NO CHARGE and invited my wife to come back in a few weeks... My wife came home, showing off her beautiful nails, and was so happy. They really did an amazing job... Hey, I'm a dude and don't know anything about this stuff, but my babe's nails looked HOT! :) She will definitely be visiting Angel's Nails again! The staff at Angel's is so friendly and obviously experienced and very professional. My wife has worked in a salon environment when she lived in Australia so she knows a quality place when she sees it and she said that Angel's was perfect. The place is very clean and the experience was just excellent. She couldn't stop raving about it. If you want things done right, by experienced and friendly staff who know how to treat their customers awesome, go over to Angel's Nails!!! In our opinion, Angel's is awesome! I'm so incredibly disappointed. I showed you what I wanted and you lied to me and told me ya ya I can do that. LIESSSS!!!! My pedicure was fine and I liked the staff. HOWEVER, they do not clean their tools after use. I asked why they didn't clean their tools and they were very defensive and said they did. Not true - I watched the same tools go through three clients (I was the middle one). My friend who was with me had tools used on her that were from a previous customer sitting next to her, with no cleaning of them. The floors are dirty, especially around the baseboards and in corners. The work surfaces need cleaning. I'm disappointed because, although I liked my pedicure, I won't be back. Not even wiping the tools with alcohol is a sure way to spread fungus. read more

She kept on asking me if I wanted white gel and I told her about four times I did not want white gel, so she whispered stuff under her breathe about the gel. She was very rough with my hands and aggressively moved them around as if she was mad about me rejecting the white gel, I really didn't appreciate the customer service. read more

The two women techs, are rude and dismissive. I tried asking a question upon leaving and was ignored. Their regular polish is old, ugly colors and cannot get top undone to check consistency. I have come in now twice and the first time was great! This last time I came in was terrible and I was still charged but they did they mani/panic all over again. I felt rushed and felt that if you are going to redo someone's nails then you shouldn't charge them. It's called customer service. I will come again and see what happens next time I'm in town. I came in as a referral from a friend and I'm not very impressed. The lady who did my pedicure was unnecessarily rough and aggressive and my paint was done sloppily and in a hurry even though there was only one other woman waiting. I started trying to clean it up with my nails and the lady noticed and took the paint off of 4 nails and redid it, but it was just as bad the second time. She also didn't put a second coat on the nails she redid or put a topcoat on any of them! Also, I watched one of the men "clean" out a pedicure tub and all he did was wipe it down with a sponge sitting next to the chair and didn't spray any cleaning solution at all. This leads me to believe that this place is not sanitary and it makes me concerned about the tools they use. I was going to get my nails done as well but after the rather unpleasant experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I also don't like paying full price for a less than decent pedicure in a dirty salon. I won't be back. read more

A very unpleasant experience. I find it both uncomfortable and unprofessional for nail techs to stop work on your nails to keep engaged with other colleagues for personal conversations. Unprofessional to continue dialogue in native language and very little English spoken to their customer base. The service is equally poor. Uneven nails. rush polish applications to get to the next customer. No accountability when customer is unhappy with service. I will tell anyone that asks...this establishment is rude and unprofessional. One last note, while getting my nails worked on, the nail technician coughed not once but twice in my face. I did my best to turn my head in time but I do not think it a coincidence that I felt fluish 18 hours later. I have been getting my nails done for two years and was so taken back by my experience here. I made an appointment for a fill and ended up with Nikki, who I believe is the manager. She was very aggressive while filing my nails and continually pulled on them. She filed them down with her electric tool, added a tiny bit of powder- not nearly as much as others have added, so it genuinely felt as if she was filing my natural nail bed. She then used a nail file to shape them. Every time I tried to look at them she would sassily tell me to put my hands down or to sit still. After she shaped them- some into ovals and some into almonds, (I wanted almonds, as I had before. They needed very little reshaping.) she took out the electric tool again and filed away. I told her that it was tender, and said ow, especially on my thumb nail that I had surgery on as a child- but she filed away heartily. After that, I washed my hands and she put the color on. She had me place them in the gel dryer even though I had regular polish on, which is absolutely incorrect. I was getting a gel top coat so it was easier for her to have me sit there. She only let the two coats dry for about 5 minutes, in between her touching them (and leaving finger prints) after not washing her hands from being with another client. She put my clear gel on top and set it for three minutes then checked it again, leaving actual pieces of "acrylic dust" in two of my nails from her other client. Talk about unsanitary. Plus there were now crystals stuck in my gel top coat. By this time, (almost an hour since I got here, she spent literally 40 minutes filing and shaping), I had to leave for work. I paid and left obviously upset. I have never had my nails look this horrible, I am embarrassed. They were cut too short- I asked for the length to be preserved as much as possible. The right hand is about 2cm longer on every nail. There is no cuticle left and you can see a white/clear line by my cuticles that is excess gel top coat (and probably lack of cuticle). They are too thin. In less than an hour, they were cracked, nicked, and obviously ruined. I paid extra for a gel top coat so this should certainly not have happened. I went back the next day, showed the same woman my hands, and asked for a refund. She offered hastily to fix them (she only saw a problem with the one thumb nail that is scuffed up) but I am honestly not comfortable with her touching my hands again after the mess that has already been made. My hands have never hurt like this. She yelled at me, literally, and caused a big scene as she argued with me and said that I'd told her they looked good the day before. As you can see from the attached pictures, they do not look good. I was unable to clearly look at them until it was time to pay since I was snapped at each time I tried to look at my hand to hold still (granted, she was working on the other hand). I asked to speak with the owner- and she claimed that was her. Overall, I will never be back. It was unsanitary, hostile, and very unprofessional. I have to now go pay to have my nails fixed. I would suggest staying away from this nail salon- obviously they do not take pride in their work. I used Yelp reviews to decide to go here- and I am not one to leave bad reviews- this is my first. But maybe it will save someone else from a painful waste of money and time. read more

I came in for a simple pedi and brought my own polish after reading about their lack of colors and old polish. The Lady tried to start with my top coat! Then, when she put on the color coats, she left it to puddle at the base of my toenails. I asked her to fix it and clean up the line, but she didn't speak English enough to understand. Then, she attempted to remove the already dried polish and wanted to put more on to cover her mistakes. What a mess! I routinely paint my own nails, but when I want to have them professionally done, I expect more than a finger paint project. This was my second time, unfortunately, I got the same lady both times, same results. As far as cleanliness, they only swish out the basins with water and stick the dirty tools right back in the console for the next person. Yuck! Floors appear dirty, chairs are cracking, light bulbs are out in the fan drying table, all very neglected. I don't care to ever return. Too many other places around! read more

My girlfriend went in there and they made them uneven and they weren't filled in all the way in one of the nails she noticed that it didn't even match in the size at all. In all she said that she completely hated her nails and won't be going there anymore Pedi spa & nails is the way to go all the way. All I have to say is smh. read more

I walked in and they told me 10 minute wait for a pedi. 50 minuets later they finally started, I walk out the door and my nail smears immediately. Come back the next day to get it fixed and smears again. Very disappointed will not be returning. read more

I was here visiting from Phoenix and needed a repair and a fill.....not a good thing! !! I also wanted a manicure. My nails were not all the same shape, edges were left rough so had to file them again, the manicure was a joke. ...trimmed my cuticles and cut me to the point of bleeding with no apology then used no oil or lotion at all....then had the nerve to charge me $40. I don't mind paying for GOOD service...This wasn't it!!! Also I don't know where their state inspectors are but this place is a pig sty! !!!! I will be in the area for a month but will not be going back to this place and urge others to avoid this joint as well! The staffs rudeness was also noted. ....not so much as a thank you. I've been here several times and have really enjoyed their spa pedicures. The last 2 times were a different story. I tend to get ingrown toenails on my big toes, I keep them filed and cut, but they still give me issues every now and then. The first out of the 2 times I am referring to ended in my big toe becoming swollen, infected, and leaking puss for a couple of days. I put Neosporin and a bandaid and it healed, but not without causing me several days of pain. I wasn't sure what caused my infected toe, they had cut my nails and cleaned up around my cuticles. During the pedicure I wasn't in any pain, but that evening is when the toe started becoming VERY PAINFUL. I thought maybe the cuticle clippers had been dirty, but I'm honestly not sure what caused it. Fast-forward to yesterday, I went in to get a pedicure. I figured it was just a fluke that my nail had become infected last time and since I had always enjoyed their pedicures, I wanted to give them another chance. The lady who was working on me asked if I was having any pain on the sides of my big toe, I said yes a little bit. Thinking she would be extra gentle or leave that area alone. Now thinking back I should have said, "nope, no pain at all!" Because for the next 5-10 minutes she took it upon herself to dig out whatever ingrown toenail remnants she could find. At first she was just cleaning/clipping around the area and that was fine, then she went full on surgery mode and decided to rip pieces of skin and nail from the sides of my toe. Now there are reasons they use numbing medication when you go to the doctor to receive ingrown toenail treatment. One of the reasons being PAIN! Literally felt like my nail was being ripped off! Now I should have made a bigger deal and said, "OUCH!" But I guess I didn't want to be rude or make a scene. When I couldn't stand it anymore, I looked down and told her that it was hurting. She didn't even acknowledge that I had spoken to her and just kept performing minor surgery on my toe. Now it's the evening of and I notice my toe is slightly sore, but can you blame it? I wake up the next morning to a very swollen and painful big toe and guess what it's leaking again??!? PUSS!! Just to be clear the toes that became infected weren't the same toe or area. Different toes and different infected areas. I'm very disappointed that this happened again and it looks like I'll need to find a new nail salon. read more

I just moved from California and needed a pedicure. My toes look good -- the polish with flowers added done well. It's been a month and a half and a trip to Hawaii later and the polish on my toes is still looking good with no chips. The lady who gave me my pedicure was super nice and the entire staff was friendly. I then asked about gel nails and proceeded to have it done. She was communicative and asked how I wanted the shape of my nails and the thickness of the white part for the french. She did exactly as I said. They also did the gel nails right without sanding down my nails like they do every where I've been to in CA. So, my nails are not damaged. The price is comparative to all other nail places. DO NOT GO HERE!!! These people ruined my natural nails! I went in to have my shellac removed and get a manicure. The woman was so rough I almost cried. She had no idea how to remove my shellac properly and didn't even get it all off. My nail beds are so trashed now. I had to ask for a base coat with my manicure, and then the manicure didn't even last an hour before chipping. I went back for a refund and was told by the manager no way, he didn't even offer to repair the chipped manicure for free. He didn't even apologize and made it seem like it was my fault. He was so rude to me I cried after I left. The WORST experience I've EVER had in my life. Horrible terrible customer service. Do not let these people handle your nails, they will ruin you. read more

Nobody seems to know how to shape nails. I had a mani & pedi with both looking like I had done it myself. My fingernails weren't even thoroughly cleaned, she didn't ask what shape I wanted them to be, & she didn't even bother to ask if I wanted them all even lengths. The hand massage was the weakest one I've ever had & lasted not even 5 minutes. I just wanted my nails buffed & shine. She was just going to leave my nails scratched up & dull from using the gritty part of the buffer but I had to tell her that i wanted them to look shiny. No solid pedicure either. I don't have the most even if toe nail bed but rather it's lopsided. I've been to many salons that someone manage to fix that without using acrylic but no effort was made to even correct that at this place. The side of big toe nail wasn't even colored evenly, the color application wasn't even on the rest of my toes, & the color wasn't carefully applied because I had some on my cuticle. I do my own pedicure a lot & I came out of there looking like I had done it myself. Not even 24 hours later the nail polish had chipped off. Almost all salons will help carefully put on your sandals to prevent nail smudges but they wouldn't even do that not even for someone like me who is very pregnant & can hardly reach her feet. I have very dry feet & whatever lotion they used couldn't help that nor did it looked like they scrubbed off the dead skin on my heels. I've never experienced that. This wasn't worth $40 which includes $4 surcharge to cover COVID supplies. Their selection of nail polish isn't very extensive either & very limited. The upside to this place is that they didn't try to upsell me on any additional services. read more

Went in for a quick fill and was pleasantly surprised! The shop was clean, beautiful, and relaxing! The lady that did my nails did an awesome job. Fixed the lifting on my nails, and did exactly what I asked for. She was very gentle with my hands and didn't nick my cuticles at all!! I love the way she shaped my tips and even cleaned my natural nails under the tips. The demarcation line between her work and the last shop is somewhat noticeable, but not unless you're looking for it. She put the acrylic very close to my cuticle so I know it'll last a long while!!There was no wait, all employees were friendly and I was treated like a "regular" even though it was my first time in the shop. I've recently moved back from NY and I think I've found my go-to shop!! My fill with a color change was only $15. Can't beat that!!! read more

Went in for shelac color because my regular salon was busy. Horrible experience. Nails were tacky , and rough from a poor filing. When they remove old shelac, they had me soak my hands in acetone instead of using cotton swabs which is bad for the skin. Too many salons to waste your money here. read more
