I'm so glad I did! The environment in Laura's space is super calming (lemongrass essential oils...mmm, dimly lit, and the comfiest bed ever to lay on-I could have easily fallen asleep). Laura never made me feel judged for my acneic skin and curated the facial, right then and there, to fit my needs. My skin was seriously glowing, after! At the end of my facial, she even gifted me a sample of a Vitamin-C serum that she had on hand, to help with my hyperpigmentation. Laura has such a grounding personality about her-kind, genuine, and non-judgmental...all of the things I would want from an esthetician when being in a vulnerable state (barefaced). Oh! And, I must mention-I have gone back to her multiple times for waxing and I can't say enough great things about the experience! Normally, when I get waxed, my skin is red and irritated for the remainder of the day, afterward. Not with Laura-I was able to return to work within the hour of leaving my appointment with no trace of redness or irritation. Incredible. If you are on the fence about treating yourself because you have anxiety like me (about having sensitive skin), don't be. Laura is amazing and will leave you feeling rejuvenated, post-visit.
