I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone wanting acrylics, ladies were very kind and I appreciate that but the quality of nails I received for $55 (mid-range price for most salons) was horrendous. Very fast but I walked out in tears about how my nails look, ended up scheduling with another nail salon same day to get them removed and redone. The shape is all over the place, each nail is a different shape length and degree of lumpiness from polish. Included a picture of what I asked for. read more

My daughters nails came out ok but the lady was on her phone the whole time. I wanted a full manicure for both my girls but they only painted my youngest nails nothing else. My oldest daughter they charged me $85. Did not consult me with any prices or anything. The sign said $50 for what my oldest daughter got. I ended up paying a total of $95. For a French tip manicure and my 7 year old to get her nails painted. read more

I have acrylics on my nails and I've gone there to get them done about three times now. I would say the overall quality of the nails is pretty good, but I have a couple of ig hold backs. 1. I always asked him to do ombre nails and they never say to can? I'm not sure why or if there's a miscommunication at some point but they never said they can. 2. My last appointment the nail artist was talking to her coworker besides her and she kept cutting me with the drill so that stung. This doesn't happen every time I didn't like it. 3.they don't put on cuticle oil after so be aware you should put on some yourself. Otherwise a good salon. read more

Got two sets of acrylics. They came out gorgeous. Amazing job. Mine were coffin shaped. My god sister asked for stiletto, but they came out more almond. I don't have pictures for reference unfortunately. But overall we were super impressed, it's very friendly and fun. Will be coming back read more

Not happy with the shape, and the nail polish application is sloppy. It's my birthday, this was supposed to be a treat and instead i paid 70$ (plus tip) for nails I'm not happy with. I understand maybe some places are better at dip than others but I can usually go 2-3 weeks and I didn't make it two days without chipping when I got my nails done here. Maybe it's due to cheap top coat or her having me wash my hands and my nails were still wet, didn't use the activator again or dry them with a fan. straight to the top gel coat. also my shape is weird and she didn't smooth the dip powder so my nails look bumpy. Also I hate having my nail drilled on so much. Trying to get them stronger not file them down to where it gets to hot that it hurts. Maybe I will start doing them myself again....Hard to spend $55 and leave unhappy with a mediocre job read more

Did I get them on an off day? My sister and I came here to get pedicures. My feet were rough and cracked and it had been a good year since I'd had one done. We asked for their $35.00 pedicure with the paraffin treatment. The ladies spent the whole time talking, we didn't get the paraffin, we didn't get the massage, it was a basic clip, clean and color. Left with dry cracked heels and a pedicure I could've done myself, easy. So disappointed. read more

I come every once in a while when I'm back from school and it's kind of like playing cards. You never know what you're going to get some days they're super sweet and helpful and others they just make you feel like a burden. Today was my last time coming. I asked for a gel manicure and I got a pretty half assed job and one of the workers in the salon kept giving me an uncomfortable glare and passive aggressive attitude while I was being rung out. My mom has been coming here for about 10 years seeing Amy & she always does a good job. When I'm in town we get our nails done & yesterday I had a shellac manicure. I had never had one here. It was by far the worst shellac ever. The woman who worked on my nails painted over my cuticles, didn't paint to the end of my nails and overall it looked uneven. I came in this morning to see if they could fix them. Amy, despite knowing my mom & I for 10 years and knowing we've never come in to complain about service, etc. said it wasn't the nail tech, but rather my nails that were "bad" & that's why my nail color looked uneven. I said that's fine if that's why the color is uneven but how do you explain the nail tech painting over my cuticle and not to the side & painting over lint? She refused to even work on them again & seemed flustered so I told her to just forget it and walked out. No apology or anything. I definitely won't be coming back & I know my mom will think twice before coming back. read more

I usually have such a good experience. But this last time was terrible. I still have clumps of acrylic under a few of my nails. Sloppy nail polish. I had some decals put on and they were all torn and uneven. I had 3 different ladies work on my nails. The gal who took my money stared at them almost mortified because she knew that they looked terrible. I still paid and went on with my day. But I am sad to say that I dont think I will ever return again because of this last experience. read more

They did a beautiful design for V-day and they were just the way I like them, kinda natural shaped (no sharp edges or points like vampires). My nails are so beautiful when they are finished, looking natural and not thick and they grow out looking natural. They are very professional and very nice! Fast service, but terrible job. Went in for my wedding mani. Just wanted a light color with a small purple heart on my ring finger. Lady couldn't even do a heart. Looked like a purple blob that wasn't even filled in consistently. Had her take it off and just paint it purple because it looked so bad. Didn't paint the entire nail either. Sides were missing color. Clear coat covered even less. Wont ever go here again. read more

I had been going to the same nail lady for over 10 years but there was too much change and I just like to be with the same person and in the same location and know what I am going to spend before I get there. However my lady had change locations a number of times and as those changes occured the prices fluctuated as well so I got tired of chasing her around the Tri-Cities and thought that I would try to find a new place. I decided to check Yelp and after reading the reviews I chose this place. I have been there 2 times now and it is exactly what I was looking for. The ladies are very nice and with the problems that I have had with my feet they have taken good care of me. Worst mani/pedi I've ever had. I just moved to the tricities and am looking for a new nail salon, and when I saw the good reviews online for Nails 2005 I thought I'd give it a try. The pedicure wasn't too bad except for being cut and bleeding for a few minutes. The manicure was awful... she didn't watch to see what she was doing, so my nails are all different lengths. Because I have the gel/shellac she soaked my finger tips in acetone to remove the old coat. I've never seen this done, and because she didn't offer any kind of lotion or moisturizer afterward (at most places they massage lotion into your hands and forearms at the end if the manicure) my fingers are dry to the point of cracking and peeling. I asked for a simple thin line of color across my nails and it looks like a child painted my nails--they're uneven, crooked, and on several nails it doesn't go all the way across my nail. I asked her to fix it, so she took a brush and polish remover and made one side of the line on one nail straight. Worst mani/pedi I've ever had. read more
