Cassidy performed a gentle scalp analysis and we spoke about issues I've had with my scalp in the past. She followed this by a soothing oil head massage and a cleansing masking ritual on a very comfortable warm spa bed. The scalp massages were very relaxing using different techniques and treatments. The products used during my treatment smelled so good and my hair and scalp feel so soft clean and refreshed. We filed a police report for theft and for putting counterfeit money back into circulation. This salon constantly pressures customers to pay in cash, claiming their card machine is always down. In my opinion, this may be part of a scam they run on unsuspecting customers. Avoid this place. We are filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

There were no other customers and the first person I ended up with was clearly new. I still gave her a chance since that didn't necessarily mean she wasn't skilled but that became evident after a while and when they had to have someone else come over to try to salvage the manicure. An hour and a half, a few bleeding nail beds, and 2 people later, I ended up paying a lot of money for the worst manicure I have ever had. What should've been a relaxing experience turned into an expensive, frustrating disaster. The pedicure was done correctly--no complaints there. But when it came to my fingernails, I decided to change the color from my toes, and the nail tech accidentally used regular polish instead of gel. The kicker? She didn't realize this mistake until after she had completely finished the manicure. At that point, I'd already been in the chair for 45 minutes and couldn't stay any longer--I had to get home to my kids. She offered to remove everything and start over, but that just wasn't possible time-wise. I was told I'd only be charged for regular polish (fine), and left assuming it would at least look decent with the gel topcoat she applied. 30 minutes later--after running next door to Costco to pick up a quick dinner--I looked down and saw my nails were completely smashed and ruined. The polish hadn't set at all. I immediately went back in, showed them the mess, and politely asked for a refund. Instead of apologizing, they acted like it was my fault, suggesting I should've known the difference between gel and regular polish bottles because I "okayed" the color. I ended up paying $92 including tip for a service that left my nails ruined, paper-thin from gel prep, and a whole evening wasted--not to mention the money I spent on babysitting. The total lack of accountability or care from the staff made this even worse. I walked out feeling angry, unheard, and completely ripped off. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that values your time, money, and business. TC Nails & Spa clearly doesn't.
