I like to think that you never know what's going on in someone's personal life, but that kind of went out the window when she used the nail file to file through the side of the skin on my thumb. There was no cut down the side of my thumb before stepping into that Salon, an FYI just so that readers are aware. She was filing down the side of my thumb, then I started to feel it sting while talking to my friend, and then the next thing I know there's shooting pain down my finger and I'm bleeding. In order to attempt to solve this problem, my nail take pushed her thumb deeply on the cut that she had created , and then continued to file even further into my skin resulting in more blood. No apology or care from her at all on the matter. Rude. I didn't even complain, I simply said "that hurts quite a lot, you've cut the side of my thumb so please can you stop"...and she continued regardless until anther nail tech stepped in and moved her onto another poor client. This was quite a horrific experience, she did not shape the nails well at all and a younger nail tech - who seem to know what she was doing - created the shape & colour that you see in the picture in order to try and resolve what the other lady had done. I would give three/four stars to the younger girl as she was very kind and talkative, unlike her colleague who was moody and ignored every question I had. The younger nail tech took great care in avoiding that cut that had been created and apologised profusely even though she was not the one who created it. But for $60...not worth it. Overall: better places to go, nails aren't fab but not awful thanks to the second nail tech, just miss this one in my opinion. Will not return.

The atmosphere is so inviting and clean. The only reason they're not getting 5 stars is because you have to buy your own "nail kit" for $5. It comes with a file and buffer and they make you buy it or you can use an "already-used" kit for free. Kinda made me feel weird thinking someone else's feet were on my file so I bought the new one. You can keep bringing in your "kit" though and they'll use it for no extra charge.
