I do not have any foot issues or fungus (the yellow color on my nails is nail polish), and my feet were in great health before this appointment. This was my first visit, and the staff seemed friendly at first. Unfortunately, the technician who serviced me appeared rushed throughout the entire pedicure. They cut one of my nails too deeply, causing it to bleed. I had to ask them to stop because I was concerned about being injured further. I came in looking forward to a relaxing experience with my best friend, but instead felt rushed through the service and left with dry feet, a bleeding toe, and a pedicure that looked poorly done. The quality of the work was nowhere near what I expected. I was honestly shocked that I paid for a service that left me disappointed and uncomfortable. I went with my mom to get my nails done I had to have the lady redo two of my painted nails, let's not mention i dident look at my toes till I got home and they look horrible they dident even do my whole nail . My moms is good she gets hers done by a nail lady she knows but she dident like her toes . The people were nice just not the best quality or look. Do NOT recommend my nail tech first cut my nails to short then added extensions when I wanted my regular nails then didn't do anything for my cuticles and treated me horribly because I'm younger then most people who go there! My daughter and I went in for full sets of nails. While mother were doing my daughter's nails (16yrs old) I noticed all her nails were pointing up as if they were angled to the sky. I mentioned it twice and the nail tech just kept arguing saying she has small fingers. Not sure why that would cause the fake nails to point UP butt ok. The lady doing my nails didn't file the sharp corners of mine and made my set look like cheap fake press ons. Not worth the $130 we were charged. And if a customer doesn't like something, fix it. I came in without an appointment and needed a pedicure and and SNS dip nail color change and they accepted me in with no issues. They were pretty busy so it did take about 10-15 min to get started but I was thankful to just get in. The pedicures and my nails turned out great! I will definitely go back! read more

I go in to get a pedicure and we asked the wait time, the lady's says "not long" and my friend and I sit in the pedicure chair with no water for 30mins then they take forever to even start! I had some time to kill so i decided to drop in and get a quick manicure and my eyebrows done. When i walked in the place was super busy but once i picked my color i was put right in a seat. The woman was super sweet and quick, she promptly handed me over to another women to have my brows done and this woman was on point! She explained to me where not to pluck so i get a proper arch AND taught me how to fill my eyebrows with a pencil if i wanted a thicker look. Ive NEVER had someone go in such detail with my brows. I paid and got in my car and OF COURSE touch my nails to the ceiling of my car. I run back inside and go back to my nail tech expecting her to be irritated but she just giggled and fixed me up. I've been going here for the last eight years and never had a problem, they are so kind and welcoming. They are always busy so book an appointment or your gonna have to wait your turn. If you do have a problem with your nails within the first week they encourage you to come back so they can fix anything. Love the owners and all the nail techs they are like family to me. I would even drive home from college to get my nails done here bc they do quality work! I always get complements on my nails With covid obviously prices went up but they are quality they will always give you a quote and be straight forward about pricing just ask! Overall good experience. Loved the way my nails turned out :) they did a very good job with the shape and everything. The only thing I had a problem with was the First Lady doing my nails the entire time said they would be $55 but then for the last 20 minute I had a new lady finish my nails and she raised the price to $75. I asked her why and that the first last said they would be $55 for sure and she wouldn't tell me why. But it's not really a big deal I still enjoyed my finished nails! If I could remember the first lady's name I would recommend her but I just wanted to say that she was so patient with my requests and was so gentle removing my existing acrylics before this new set. Poor experience. I got a pedicure and manicure with my friend. They did not acknowledge me at all and talked to my friend getting her nails done next to me during my entire service . I never asked for a cuticle cut and trim and yet they tried to charge me for this service . I have no cuticles left ! And never expressed the interest in the cut and trim charge . Lots of people working here so they got my friend and I in quickly. However we were split apart from each other during our treatments. I got a pedicure and a dip and she got just a dip. They did my dip while I was sitting in the pedicure chair, which I was not a fan of awkwardly twisting to the side for him to do...especially at 9 months pregnant. My pedicure was mediocre. I didn't feel like the woman put much effort into the massage and she wasn't very friendly either. It's been almost a week since we had our dips and both of us are seeing some wear. My top coat is peeling off of my thumbs, which is frustrating for something that's supposed to last for weeks and cost $40. Definitely won't be going back. read more

Today, my cuticles are sore and two of them look like they may be getting infected. She also used the thing that looked like a cheese grater on my feet for calluses. I am 99% sure it was used on multiple clients with a quick rinse between. I would go in and complain, but i don't know if they would fully understand. Hit or miss. When you catch them on a good day, it's a great experience. But it's pretty hard to leave a good review when you call ahead for a manicure and they say "yes come in" and you get there and you have to sit in a chair and wait for an hour. Just say "no we are busy!" Instead of lying and acting like you can come in and get right in when really they are packed. Don't call ahead, it's completely useless. Maybe drive by and check inside? They need to figure it out because it is getting old. read more

So I've always loved going to Lux nails and spa but with all the Covid stuff after making an appointment I waited 45 minutes before I was helped with it and I was not with the person I scheduled it with. They are very friendly but also I have been on the phone when making an appointment and they were very short and they hung up on me today when trying to make an appointment. I appreciated the extra precautions being taken with COVID has I have health issues and see many businesses not taking proper precautions. My nails looked nice but the sides were jagged and my nails didn't feel as secure as they normally would be. First time here and I brought my two year old niece. They're the only place in town that I know has a pedicure chair for children. They were very good with me and attentive to the fact I had a little one with me. They did her nails as well and were very gentle with her. When it came time to do my nails, she say and played on my iPad. Two of the older ladies came by and played with her to help keep her company while I was finishing up! I'm extremely pleased with their service and the way they handle children. They seem to lack imagination and finesse in design on the nails so basics seem to be what they work with. First time getting my nails done in a long time did a pedicure (gel) and dipped nails. I asked the lady not to put gel top coat on my dipped nail because I find that they chip faster that way. "Oh the way we do it, it won't chip and will last 3-4 weeks" against my better judgement I agreed. THAT same evening two nails started chipping. I was willing to forget about it and just filed my nails shorted to get rid of the chip. NEXT day another nail chips but too much for me to file so I decided to go back and get it fixed. Came to the salon around 430ish. They were a little busy but told me to come sit and a lady put acetone on the chipped nails to remove the color. I sat... and sat... and sat. It was 20 min later and nothing. I decided to remove the foil from my nails and the color came right off. I keep waiting and a couple came in after me got assisted before I did to do a fill. Ok I get it I'm there to get a fix so I'm not paying but I did pay 110bucks just the day before. After the lady finished the fill she goes to lunch! I was pretty livid. If they hadn't taken my nail color off I would have left. And I probably should have within that first 20-30 min. I left the salon after 6pm. Bottom line. Don't come here for dipped nails they don't do them right. Today is day 4 and other nails are also starting to chip. No worth 60 dollar for something that won't last a weekend. read more

I only give this place one star because they did my nails. Every time I go here it just gets worse and worse. The first time was okay they got done looked okay enough. Every time I choose a color on their prepainted nails they would get mad I would change the color I choose because the color didn't match the prepainted nail. The lady doing my nails yelled at me saying that I have to stop changing the nail color even though it want my fault. This was the second time I went and they did this. It made me cry. The last time I went there they over painted my nails onto my skin and because it was gel it dried to my skin and the Polish started to lift the second day. I got a pedi at the same time and the paint started to chip, on several toes too. They messed up my sister's nails and made her cry then got mad at her for making them fix it. My mom went to and they cut all her old acrylics off instead of soaking them like she wanted. When I tried telling them what she wanted the lady told me it'd take too long that way but my mom didn't care. She just started clipping away. Then called me crazy when I told her soak her because cutting will ruin my mom's nails and shorten them severally. She was growing them out for weeks and all that effort ruined. Every nail was a different shape and size.. the acrylic was applied correctly, leaving my nails feeling bumpy and uneven. after the man who did my nails was done i shorty came back, complained and wanted them removed and for them to start over because they were HORRIBLE & they wouldn't. I have one that an oval shape then I have circle on the other 9 nails. It was horrible. Then after the gel was put on you can see particles of dust or dirt on my nails.
