Have been a client for nearly 5 years..Helen and Sam are great and I would recommend to anyone

helen physically grabbed my 3 year old daughters hand and ripped it off a black chair. once i confronted her about it she proceeded to say my daughter was not listening and spinning the chair (which she was not, and five minutes before the incident happened i told her to not be spinning the chair which she did stop) helen also claimed my daughter was running around everywhere which she also did not do, she was not even walking everywhere in fact she was so well behaved she whispered the whole time. helen also then proceeded to say that my daughter sitting on my mothers lap was wrong. i 100000% agree that if a child is grabbing items and running around and grabbing items off the desk or any other part of the salon is wrong and i 1000000% agree the owners can ask them not to allow it. all of which my daughter was not doing. helen the last time i tell you, you do not under any circumstance physically put your hands on any child. my daughter was very well behaved and also had her nails done for helen to grab her was not ok. i would never allow my daughter to be reckless or disrespectful. my daughter is on the spectrum so i am especially aware of her at all times. helen that was disgusting behavior. read more

Helen is the best very kind and always does a great job went to another place to get nails done in a hurry and the next day had to go to Happy Nails to get 3 of my 10 nails replaced. I will always from here on never stray from Happy Nails again. There the best!! read more

After going many places around town, and my mother being extremely picky as well, my mom found this place and now it's the only place we will go because they always do a good job. Make sure to make an appointment and they will give you their undivided attention. Don't expect to just walk in because they really focus on the people they are working on. That's why they're so good. The attention to detail allows acrylics to last longer, polish to be evenly coated, and no painful accidents. read more

My mother and I were in town just for today and when I googled this establishment it had 4.0 stars, so we went. It took 3 hours for me to get shellac and for my mom to get shellac on her nails and toes. When I sat down the man asked "do you want manicure or acrylic set?" I said "neither, I would just like my nails painted." He went ahead anyways and gave me a manicure and charged me for it when I specifically said no. My nails are not evenly filed, my middle finger on my left hand is so slanted that I'll have to file it when I get home. They charged me $35 for my shellac when a local place at home charged me $18 for shellac and the cuticle clipping that this place calls a "manicure." This establishments "manicure" consists of cuticle clipping, lotion and they rotated my wrist twice. Definitely not worth the price. My mother feels deceived about her pricing as her acrylic set and shellac on nails and toes cost her $95. They charged her $10 for a flower decal and $10 extra for chrome on only 8/10 fingers. read more

Here I go writing another review for a mani-pedi place. I always find myself heading back to Happy Nails. A husband and wife owned and operated business, they are always the two people there and I like the consistency. The husband usually does the pedis and the wife, mostly nails etc. I only get pedis and I like how he does them, he pays attention, is very pleasant and the polish lasts for a good while after. The wife is so sweet and friendly and she is always busy which tells me she must do a good job. I have always been a "walk in" and never had to wait longer than 5-10 minutes. Their cleanliness practices are good and their massage chairs actually work ;-) An unpretentious, comfortable place for an all around good experience. read more

Worst manicure I have ever gotten. Left hangnails, actually created hangnails. My nails are filed crooked and not smooth. For professionals it is ridiculous, they were nice enough just did an awful lazy job. read more

On a recent visit, my mom and I went to get mani and pedis. We didn't have appointments and walked right into the nail salon, where the husband and wife happily greeted us. Both were attentive to our needs and helped picked out colors to match. They were friendly, helpful and funny. Many people came in and scheduled appointments and also called. Another thing we appreciated besides their friendliness, talkativeness but also it did not smell like how many nail salons do. That is a big plus! Our nails looked great. Next time I am in town, I will be happy to come back and get services from this nail salon. read more

I recently had my nails done at this salon and found it to be the worst experience I have ever had. My nails looked like a 5 year old did them. Very crooked and to top it off mismatched lengths. Never do reviews but felt strongly after getting acrylic nails they broke off in 5 days by doing simple everyday tasks such as opening my car door they were brand new and I wasn't going to have them painfully ripped off so here I am with acrylic nails that don't go past my nail bed I am so dissatisfied I have never had an issue with nails in the past it's as though there buying the cheapest products available and not giving quality I was decently happy when I left even though my nails weren't painted very well.....but now 40$ later I'm not happy at all they should be called cheap nails read more

I went to Happy Nails for years and was always "happy" with pedis and fills by Sam and Helen. I went to a shop I liked located near my home in West Richland for several years, but new owners have me back at Happy Nails in Kennewick. Helen does a great job of making my nails look and feel natural. Sam and an employee both do a good job on pedis. Since I'm driving 20+ minutes to get there, I call for an appointment, which I can usually get within an hour. I've seen them ask walk-ins to come back at a certain time if they are busy and can't accommodate them right away. I'd personally rather go get an iced tea or fill my gas tank and come back than wait a half hour. The shop is clean and tidy. Prices are consistent with other shops. read more

This place is awesome to get your nails done. Cute small place - small is something I prefer. I went in just to get a polish change and a trim on my full set, and the lady was very nice. My nails look great and the prices were average/normal. I will be back! read more

One of the worst I've ever been to. Let me tell you a few reasons why: 1. After soaking my nails to remove the shellac the guy sucked the USED alcohol back into the bottle. 2. Glob of shellac on one of my nails the guy saw it and didn't bother to do anything about it until I asked him to please fix it. 3. $20 for a color change (NO manicure) 4. Lasted 1 week and had to get it redone because the edges were lifting and catching on everything. I will never go back there. I have no idea how they ended up with so many stars to start with. read more

Worst manicure EVER!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I went while on vacation there. They were the only salon that had openings later in the day. I had a gel manicure on and a few nails had broke. We were going to have family pictures so I wanted to get them fixed. They didn't have similar colors so said I would need to redo the whole thing. My first clue to walk out should have been the used cotton with chips of blue paint in it that she used to "soak" my gel polish off. She didn't even wait 5 minutes before she took her tools out of a box marked "dirty" to try and scrape off the gel. I told her I wanted them shorter so she also took clippers out of the dirty box. She then used an electric file to take off my gel and even when I said ouch because my finger felt like it was burning. I then pulled my hand away because it was hiring and she continued with the electric filing. Then when done removing the push she tells me I have thin nails. I can grow all my nails out as long as most people's fake nails without any polish so yes when you file off almost all the layers of my nails they are going to be thin. Then she used a gel polish she added nail push remover to and added a tacky glitter line that I didn't want and an ugly flower. I don't know why I left a dollar tip, but then heard her comment about Hawaii (where I told her I live) as I was leaving. My nails were sore to the touch for over a month even with the gel posh when you gently touched them. I have never been somewhere so horrible in my life and I have been getting pedicures almost monthly since I graduated from college. If I can save even one person from this place then my post is all worth it. read more
