The place is nice looking and organized but the service between the different ladies is very different. The older woman gives great service but the younger woman with bangs makes it quite obvious she does not want to be there. She was touching her phone and texting on her phone the entire service, like spend a whole 10 minutes sitting in front of me on her phone at one point. Touching her phone while wearing her gloves that she is using to clip cuticles. I can't help but think of the bacteria from her phone. She also skipped many steps in the service that my friend who was being serviced by the older woman got, we got the same thing. The towels, water, and everything that was supposed to be hot ended up sitting on me cold because she was on her phone for so long. Disappointing service for the price. Paying for someone to text is not what I'm interested in. Not to mention the infection that could cause someone. read more

I'm not one to leave reviews, especially negative ones but no one deserves to go through the experience I did. I went in for a fill on some acrylics. Pretty simple. The nail tech asked if I wanted my nails shorter I told her I did, instead of cutting them she filled them with the electronic one which shaped the nails terribly. She then decided to file my nail beds down so low it physically hurt. My nails were purple and red. I kept telling her it hurt and trying to get her to stop, she would apologize and then go back to the same spot and continue filing. She then used an emery board to really get in there and further buff down my raw nail beds. At one point I was sweating because it hurt so bad, I thought about getting up and leaving. At the end (this isn't the first time either) when I was paying, she asked "cash?? You pay cash?" When I told her I only brought my credit and debit she said "oh cash better" she then kept trying to peek in my wallet as I was pulling out my card. She then told me "you bring cash next time cash better." In conclusion, this organization has poorly trained, poorly mannered employees that are not reporting their income to the IRS. They also get some sort of pleasure by inflicting pain on their customers. By the way, my nails look horrible, they are misshaped and chipping after 2 days. read more

I love this place - now. I had gone to M&C once or twice when the other owners were there and was not impressed. I used to go to V Nails when Mai was there; I found out she and several of her coworkers had gone to M&C. Mai, Hana, Sophia and the rest - wonderful. They are so patient with me since I have a hard time making up my mind, but the finished product always makes me happy! Very much recommend this nail salon. read more

My friend and I had our nails done on Friday. I had Yung do my nails and she did a 5 star job. I have found that when I give "specific instructions" my nails are done correctly and I am happy. Which causes some challenges for the technicians. However, it makes sense to me, and wowza my nails looked amazing. Look at the 2 pictures I downloaded with light pink nail polish. If the tech's don't like following directions, they shouldn't be in a "service" type job. My friend, had another tech who treated her with disrespect, blamed her for bumping her wet nail, when the tech was guiding her hand into the dry thing, left nail polish all over her fingers,and she wouldn't follow her instructions. Will not go back to this place. I had filled my stamp card to receive a free pedicure, I went in today and they said they don't do them anymore and would not honor my free one. Very quick and sloppy pedicure. They focus more on trying to get you to pick one of the more expensive pedicures and get mad when you just want the regular $20 pedicure. If you pay with debit they get mad, they want cash. Unfortunately it was the worst pedicure I have had, the older guy is very rude the ladies seem nice and friendly. The guy didn't trim my cuticles on my toes leaving the polish looking very sloppy. Do not recommend, they lost two customers today. My mother in law and I will not be returning. read more

So I visited this place on 9/6 with a friend Neve been here before so I thought ok why not give them a shot. So I walked out paying$65 before a tip. That included a gel pedi & a gel fill. So let me start off with my pedi. It was good basic $20 pedi but the gal took her time. As far at the gel fill it's a no for me. My nails are supposed to be coffin shape however the tech did whatever type of style she wanted I don't even know what this style is called. I told her I didn't like it and she just disregarded it so as far as the nails go it's a no for me on their Tech's. So fast forward to September 7th my two girls wanted pedis so I took them here. so first the sign on the window says $15 for a pedi so I was thinking okay $30 plus a tip... Wrong again. I sit in the car while they were getting their feet done came back in and I said it was $40 because of a design, Mindy they did not ask for a design so I told the guy I wasn't paying for the design so I gave him $30 no tip the guy got mad and snatched the little toe separators off my daughter's foot and messed up two of her nails. very unprofessional I will never go back to this place I will never recommend this place to anyone and I hope that place goes down and goes to s***... read more

I just got my nails done here tonight. I'm very upset by the whole experience. The guy broke my nail off and filed my real nail with the drill and it was bleeding, then he also cut my pinky. He was rushing and not paying attention. Then the lady who painted my nails was very sloppy, there's polish around my fingers and my nails are lumpy. I was charged $30 and now I have to pay somewhere else to fix them. I left the store in tears. I won't be going back. I should have gotten Taco Bell instead. read more

I used to go to them, but the quality of work has decreased and become sloppy while the pricing has also increased. They are constantly trying to upsell throughout the process and are easily annoyed if you tell them no. There is no form of entertainment provided (no tv, music, etc.) which makes for a quiet awkward environment. Please look elsewhere if you want lashes done. They put my lashes on facing an inward direction and very chunky. Some lashes fell off within a couple of hours and in chunk. She placed so much glue on the lashes that it made it extremely painful to even blink. read more

I left the place crying in pain after the tech ripped part of my toenail off, causing me to bleed, as well as cut every cuticle on my hands. My full set was not the same shape or length. I ended up going to a different place to have them fixed. They gouge you in price once everything is done with, I picked a classic pedicure which was $25 and they charged me $40. "It can't be THAT bad" is what I thought to myself after reading reviews but walking into a brand new and very cute salon. Let's cut to the chase here. It took over 30 minutes of my feet soaking in what quickly became COLD water for someone to even come over and speak to me. The most half-assed pedicure later I got a fill and it looked like my 5 year old did it. They paid no attention to detail and were too busy trying to juggle all of the customers rather than doing a decent job one at a time. Do yourself a favor and heed the warnings. Figured I would save my wife and 2 year old the trouble and write a review while sitting, waiting 40+ minutes for someone to start either girl's pedicure. This outfit is slow, a little unorganized and lacking support. M&C has nice equipment and plenty of it. The big issue is not enough staff to support the equipment. It's like having a grocery store with plenty of shelving and no product on the shelf. Can't sell it if it's not on the shelf.... Also, 2 gals just came in for their 6:00 pm appointment and have been waiting 30+ minutes. Would recommend coming during the early week. I'll never be coming back unless I'm aloud to kill a 6 pack of Miller High Life while "waiting/wading" through an eternity of nail polish, toe jam, cheese grader dead skin, and dirty-dawgs. read more

I went in for nails and left with eyelash extensions because of how forcefully they promoted the extensions. The lady stopped doing my nails and wouldn't continue until I agreed to eyelash extensions. I had to get them removed by a professional eyelash technician after 5 days because they were so bad. The actual technician said that my extensions were the worst she's ever seen. The nail work isn't that bad but the way they treat their customers is incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. read more

I brought my daughter here to get a manicure and pedicure for her 11th birthday. It was terrible. They rushed through the her whole experience; especially her nails. Which they did while doing her toes. I paid for gel nails so it would last longer; which ended up costing over $30. The nail polish on one of her fingers peeled off that night and two more finger nails lost their polish the next day!!! They over charged her pedicure too. $20 instead of $15. I feel like they didn't care about the quality of work because she was 11. Definitely would not recommend. read more

Even so go to a place n tell them their mistake but all week my nails were hurting so Embarrassed I told them and asked to just clean my nail. You know at least get my money's worth but no. They got me in kept trading off person just to take off the gel. I seriously was there for an hr to be treated rude. I had broken nails that were hurting and they didn't even want to cut them. Finally someone did. I went in the car and was like no I paid for those nails. Went back in and told them I wasn't satisfied and they said I should have paid or gave tip! Like really? I was getting hurt and asked for the minimum posible only cuz I went with other people or else I would of not gotten anything and they still wanted tip! At the end all I got was a lady yelling in my face that I wasn't getting anything and I can write a bad review if I like. I'm still in shock. Sadly that's probably why it's rated so low. read more

I went in for a full set and got just the white tips with gel polish. I had a guy do my nails and he was so rough with the nail file that he gave me cuts under my nail on 3 of my fingers. Then when it was time for gel it was an older lady with glasses and she couldn't even put the polish on even. I had to have her put more gel on to cover her mistakes. Because she had to put so many layers of gel on they just looked stupid and raised. They looked really weird and they weren't even straight. Definitely won't be going back! On a later update they don't give you your own nail kits and I knew in my head that's not very smart and I learned from it . One of my finger nails got some kind of fungus and my nail literally fell off over a period of months. lesson learned never let anyone do your nail without a new kit. read more
