If I could leave 0 stars I would. My daughter (12) and my niece (20) went to DL Nails & spa today. They had an appointment which they were on time for & they weren't even serviced until 45 minutes past the appointment time. The guy doing my daughter's full set of acrylic nails did NOT listen to my daughter when she told him what she wanted. He made her bleed & when she said "ouch" he told her it was her fault he drew blood. When she asked the he remove a nail polish glob from her finger he glared at her & again said it was her fault. My niece was getting a full acrylic set & before she was even done with the set they stopped working on her fingers to do her pedicure & so that they could assist a new customer.... I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I once had a bad experience. BUT, it's under new ownership. The selection of colors is phenomenal. The service was over and above what was expected. The lotion hand massage at the end, cuticle trim, cuticle oil rub . The tech spoke good English and was friendly and gentle. And one more thing.... They use liners when they give pedicures. I would say they are on point for sanitary issues. Price is affordable and they tell you what they are charging you for. I will go back for sure read more

Quiet, sanitary and super sweet owners. I came with a friend and we really enjoyed our time. It has been over a week and my gel pedicure is still thriving which always makes me happy. What I wanted VS what I got. $50 job. They didn't offer many nail color choices & didn't have the correct rose gold chromatic but they didn't seem willing to find a color close to it. While the nail tech did my nails she kept repeating how "confusing" the nail pattern was. The nail tech also said how the length was too long for me LOL. Terrible manicure and pedicure. First time I went here in May of 2018 they did very careful pedicure and paint job. Went back September 2018 specifically because of how well they did the first time and DID NOT have the same experience. Very poor paint job and very quick service. So bad I went to T20 to have them fix it and they asked if I had done it myself. A huge waste of $70 and an even bigger waste of time. I'm sticking with T20 from now on. read more

I stopped in on a Thursday to get a quick, clean manicure and had a staph infection three days later. My infection is on the underside of my forearm - where it laid directly on the manicurist's table. Since I didn't observe her cleaning the table before or after my manicure, I have to assume the table was not sanitary. I'm a hygenic person, who rarely goes for pro manicures...now I remember why...boo. My physician said that many of the arm/hand/foot staph infections she sees are a result of visits to Tri-Cities nail salons...so be careful ladies and insist on resanitized instruments and resterilization of your manicurist's work station. Also...bring your own file, towel and polish...you'll be glad you did! Oh...and NEVER go to this gross place! read more

I wish I had read reviews before I left my hotel. Seriously, I don't know that I've had a worse experience. Do not feel like I got a $20 pedicure. She spent the entire time looking around the salon, like I wasn't even there and I definitely didn't get the "spa pedicure" that was advertised for $20, so apparently I must've been cheated. The girl only had 1 toe spreader, so she grabbed a used (and missing 1 nub) one from the discarded ones. Then, she didn't even bother to put it between my big toe and 2nd toe, so when I walked, my toes overlapped and ruined the polish. Oh, and base coat...what base coat? She then didn't even bother to get the nail polish off my skin, so now I'm walking around with purple skin on my feet. I asked for thin acrylics...I didn't get thin. I even came in with thin ones and told her I liked them this way and she clearly didn't care. Just say no. read more

I've gotten two pedicures so far. This place is clean and staff are friendly. It is nothing "fancy" but is perfect for people who want to keep up beautiful nails at a fair price. They did not push extra services and allowed me to really relax while in the chair. I would recommend and will be going back. Next time I will try a manicure. read more

Zero stars for mediocre customer service, working in a rush, failing to use base coat on my toes and disrespectful when customer asked to fix gel polish because employee was working in a rush. Painted nails using gel color standing up and painted/cured polish outside nail bed. When customer asked to fix, employee got aggressive and treated customer with no respect, didn't apologize but continued fighting with customer. Someone else ended up cutting the skin that had nail polish cured and dry and disagreeing saying employee had done everything right. If you are not going to treat a customer with respect, take time to do the job you're being paid right, then don't ask the customer to sit. Wouldn't go here even if this was the only nail place in the entire Tri-Cities area. Don't see how this business will be open long. read more

My friend are I fairly new to Kennewick (I'm from Seattle and she from Utah, living here due to our husbands jobs), we met here and it's great to have a pal to go get a pedi with! We have gone to 4 places together in a quest to find a place we like enough to return but the pedicures we received here were the worst. They were about 15 minutes long, I especially got the worst gal. She either hated me, hated her job or pooped her pants, but her agony sure showed. She scowled with a dreadful look on her face the whole time, paid no attention to detail, actually no attention at all. The two gals were in their own world and carelessly rushing through (and they were not busy on this Tuesday morning). In my most recent career I earned tips and I feel it's very important to tip for services like this, this is the first time in my life I didn't tip a dime, I felt as though I was breaking my own law by not tipping but I could not bring myself to do it, it actually hurt to pay the $20 for the service. I have settled for MANY mediocre pedis over the years but this girl was awful in every way. Over all the place seems nice enough but if they want to make more money there should be some serious training and monitoring of quality and service. The owner supposedly lives in Seattle so there was nobody I could talk to. Oh well, I left with dry heels, sloppy polish and in a bad mood, just what I always hope for when I go out for a pedi. Let me start with: DO NOT COME HERE IT IS FILTHY! Came in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was empty, that should have been my sign to get out. I got the 20 dollar pedicure. They don't put a lining in, the tools didn't look sanitized and the pedicure itself was painful! They sat me down at the nail dry station which is located near the restroom. One manicures went to used the restroom and didn't even wash her hands! (I know because I could hear everything) seriously wishing I had read the reviews before stepping foot in this germ hole. I went to this salon after being referred here by a friend. I went in and asked for "Gel Nails". The first girl started working on my nails, sanding the tops, trimmed them and cleaned up my cuticles. Then another gal came and took over. She asked me if I wanted white tips and I said no thank you I just want them to look as natural as possible. Then I asked if they were going to make them longer. Keep in mind NO ONE in the salon speaks english. She said to me "Oh yeah going to make them clear." I thought everything was ok. Next thing I know she is putting on the gel and curing it under the UV light. When all was said and done I ended up with her doing a gel manicure NOT gel nails as I asked. When I asked about them she told me that she could do them for another $27 and that the first girl didn't understand english so she thought I wanted just a gel manicure. She then proceeded to yell at me in front of everyone and told me that I asked for a manicure when she wasn't even the one that I told what I wanted. It was completely uncalled for and another customer walked up to her and told them she would NOT be back because of the way she witnessed them treating me. The customer also told me she agreed with me and couldn't believe how all of the employees were acting. This place is a complete joke and a disgrace to ALL nail salons. Ive been to this place more than once and they've always been cool. The second to last time I went there my nails came out crooked. I asked the lady to fix it and she said there was nothing wrong. Next and last time I went the lady that I got was upset that she even had to do my nails. She threw her purse down and then huffed and puffed all the way to my station. She rushed the whole process. She was hurting my nails with the buffing machine and when I left I had dried acrylic all over the edges of my nails, under my nails attached to the tops of my skin. It was the crappiest job ever! I used to think very highly of this place 5-7 years ago. However, now that gel polish/shellac (with it's 2 week chip-free possibilities) has been developed, I've begun to question this place. I recently moved back to the Tri-Cities from Seattle and went in with my mom to get a CND gel polish manicure. Although the steps two different manicurists followed appeared similar to the process I became accustomed to on the other side of the state (i.e., putting nails under a small UV light after each coat) and the bottles of polish seemed legit.....my mom's manicure cracked on several nails in less than 12 hours and 24 hours later two of my nails had cracked and the polish was easily peeled off. When this happened, I easily peeled off all 8 other nails worth of polish. This is NOT the experience I've had elsewhere. When getting quality gel manicures elsewhere, chipping would not happen for 1.5-2 weeks from the date of the manicure and could not be easily peeled off. Instead, quality gel manicures require soaking in 100% acetone for 15-20 minutes to remove, along with scraping off a "super glue" like base coat after the color wore off. This "super glue" like substance was not discovered under the gel manicure I received from Nails & Spa. Given that they charge double the price for gel manicures and seem to cut some corners.... I'm leery of what else they cut corners on. Won't be going back! read more
