I came visit from the east coast. I was really wanting to like this salon, my mom referred me. But my nails are slightly too long and not the same lengths , I got gel polish and my big toe is missing some paint at the tip, one of my other toes was smudges and didn't notice till I got home. Even tho it's gel and hardens before leaving salon. There is polish hanging off ledges, and I've only had them don't for a week and the polish is lifting already. It was a 75$ pedicure. I would hope for the price they would be done better and last me 4 weeks before needing to be done again. I've had other pedicures last me 4 weeks zero lift or chips. I was traveling for work and of course I broke a couple of nails. I was able to get in the same day here! Also they fill dip nails instead of soaking them off every month!! This helps preserve the integrity of the nail. They looked amazing!! Very pleased. The service I asked for was awesome. Though the lady didn't agree with the style she compiled and I'm satisfied fully I got a fill in and pedicure. I have acrylic on my bigger toes due to not growing correctly and they did an awesome job to provide comfort and cosmetically make them appealing for feet. I requested a fill in of a color that wasn't similar to the one I had before to get a washed look. I didn't have a great experience. The front desk lady was awesome. Unfortunately, I got stuck with a man who barely spoke to me. And when he did speak to me he was abrupt. He also hurt my fingers several times with the motored filer. He used a dirty emery board too. I was not happy with that at all. I was uncomfortable sitting with him. Later, he passed me on to a lady who poorly finished painting my nails. I won't be back. I hate to give a bad review because the main lady there was exceptionally nice. We dropped our 78 yr old stepmom off for a Mani/Pedi and it took 2 visits but they charged her $186! We didn't find out until credit card statement came in the mail. I have been a faithful customer. Prior to today I felt confident with their Covid protocol and their mani/pedicures are awesome. Today was so disappointing. There was one gentleman walking around the entire time I was there without a mask, not a mask pulled down, just no mask. The owner had hers pulled down after her client left and also walked around without ever pulling it up. The other 2 manicurists' mask did not cover their noses. Ever. I wanted to get up and leave and for sure will not be back. It makes me sad because I try to support local businesses, especially during Covid. read more

I've been going to Fancy nails for about 6 months and I don't think I'd go anywhere else! I usually bring my 4 year old daughter with me and they are always so excite d to see her and spoil her and make her feel so special! Besides that they do a great job! It is clean and while I did have a couple "not the best "manicures there , the lady who did those is no longe there. But even so It wasn't bad enough for me to complain. I have been a customer for more than 17 years. Sure off and on I'd go somewhere else, but the service and peaceful atmosphere can't be found elsewhere. The place and processes are very clean and sanitary and there are no smells of chemicals or other unpleasant things. They do accept credit/debit cards and prices are very fair. Their English is good and customer service is the best in town. If they are busy, they give you a good time to come back rather than tell you it won't be long only to have you waiting 30 or more minutes. They have a lot of colors and brands of polish, they do gel (over 100 colors) acrylics and more. They are also talented, because on many occasions I've brought pictures of a design and always end up with it perfect or even better. They are also great at getting the ingrown nails. A lot of places just trim you up and slap some paint on. Here they take the time to do it right. I highly recommend you give them a chance. I even got my mom hooked. The gel nail polish last a long time for me (regular nail polish last about an hr, shellac last a couple of days, and the gel last at least 2 weeks or more) and pricing is good. I have been here several times they are accommodating when they have the time, last time I was in they were able to do a pedicure and manicure within 1/2 hour however there have been a few times that it has taken up to well over almost 2 hours just for pedicure. read more

I've been going to Fancy Nails off and on for over 15 years. They did my manis and pedis back in the day for all my high school dances and recently for my wedding day. My mom has been going here regularly for longer than me. For years she got acrylic nails and would come twice a month for "me time." She still comes just as frequently and has switched to gel, and regularly gets seasonal themed hand painted designs. I keep it simple with no acrylics or gel (except for my wedding) and love their paint color selection. Out of all the nail salons I've tried throughout Tri-Cities and even during the 6 years I lived in Southern California, this salon is by far my favorite. One time due to a location convenience I tried a salon in the Richland Fred Meyer, and was dissatisfied with the way the cleaned my nails and the quality of paint. At Fancy nails my paint lasts and they do a gentle yet thorough cleaning of my nails. This is also by far the cleanest nail salon I have ever been to - they have their nightly cleaning routine down , and it shows. They are a small family owned business, who takes care of their customers. I think I speak for many of their loyal customers about how beautifully their business and family has evolved over the years. Also to speak to the other reviews, they do accept cards but bring a cash tip. Their English is fine and they're easy to speak to. It's really your typical nail salon run by Asians in face masks, so it will reek of acetone. The service is good, but the attendants barely speak English, so you won't really be conversing with them. I got a standard pedicure which looks good and they were kind to me throughout my uncontrollable giggling. The nail polish color selection is pretty good, although I did pull out a couple of bottles that appeared to contain a solid slag of polish. They don't have OPI, so if you're dreaming of getting your toes painted in 'I'm not a Waitress' like I was, you'll be disappointed. I have gone to Fancy Nails for over 12 years now. It is a family owned and operated business, super clean, and service is awesome. They bend over backwards to accommodate their clients. Their prices are more than reasonable and in the 12 plus years I have been their client they may have only increased once. They speak excellent english. They only accept cash or checks but if they accepted credit cards I imagine they would need to increase their rates more often, I don't believe this policy hurts them. She incorrectly trimmed my cuticles leaving them pretty shredded. Won't go back. I called and spoke with manager 2 days later.
