What a gem of a surprise, Angel n Evil. This place is tucked away in the backside of a non-descript office building (if you're picking up and it looks like you're headed towards the loading docks, you're almost there). Found this place on one of the food delivery services and was pleased to see it was a short hop away (less than a mile south of Mosaic District). The menu is pretty condensed, but continues to evolve as this is a relatively new joint. That said, a small menu often times means each and every dish is excellent (jack of all trades, master of none)? I picked up the Cucumber Tuna Cup-bob, Cucumber Tuna Rolls, and Cucumber Kimchi. All were top notch - fresh, light (healthy feeling), with good flavor. Everything tasted original and the freshly prepared. The Cucumber Kimchi had a decent kick to it (spice), so beware if you're used to less spicy kimchi. The bonus and probably what sets them apart is their focus on quality ingredients (halal meat with korean food? unheard of!). I'd love to see them add an option for 100% grass fed beef as well. Overall, I'd take this place any day of the week over a similar bowl-spot (like Chipotle or Rasa. TL;DR: A fantastic fast-casual spot to pick up some healthy/light, yet flavorful meals. Wow! Where do I even start. To find this restaurant they share the same space as Cafe K just make sure you tell them you're there for Angel n Evil to speak with the owner. The owner is super kind and was walking through the menu and gave me a sample of their milkshakes. They are very good, using the natural sweetness from the fruit. No artificial stuff here! As for the food it's absolutely delicious. The shrimp fried rice was cooked beautifully and had so much shrimp. The bulgogi cup-bob was wonderful filled with so much well prepared ingredients and flavorful. For a restaurant that has a motto of healthy food the food definitely doesn't lack in the flavor department. Everything tastes so home made. I was fortunate to stumble upon Angel N Evil and have been blown away every time I have been! Everything was amazingly fresh and homemade healthy dishes with attention to every detail. I loved trying all of the different dishes with some highlights including the shrimp fried rice, tuna dishes, kimbap, Korean pizza & sandwiches, jajangmyeon, and bulgogi cup-bop. The rotation of specialty drinks and cookies are a must try! I also never order vegan dishes, but their veggie bowl was very tasty. There's plenty of spicy options if that's how you roll. The location is a little tricky to get to if you aren't doing DoorDash delivery. They are located inside Cafe K (the entrance is in the back of the building off of Javier Rd) and you can park inside any of those garages in the back (it's walking distance from Mosaic). The owner/chef is incredibly kind as well--please try them out (especially with their grand opening $9.99 deal) and support this wonderful local small business! One of the best korean food I've tried, I forgot to take a picture of the egg salad sandwich but it is a must try here. I also tried the spicy bulgolgi cup bap and it was delicious. The owner was so sweet and she seem to love cooking and it shows through her food. Since it is a smaller business its location is not too great. Wow. Found this browsing for late night food one day and so glad I did. Location is hard to find: GPS will take you to the front office (which is locked) but if you follow the sign to "Cafe K" and go through the back entrance on Javier Rd. you'll find it. Bulgogi cupbap was incredible. Massive portions and the egg and veggies go very well. Not too sauced or salty, and you can taste the home-made nature of it. Owner also gave me some of her homemade kimchi which was delightfully spicy and a perfect complement. Amazing family owned restaurant that has a delicious, inexpensive, no frills dish. Owner is very friendly and I wish her all the best with this new spot. I will be certainly be returning and bringing friends, especially for late night food pickups. read more

I've been here twice now. Every time I come Mik warmly welcomes me. She feels like one of those awesome moms from a Korean drama that you wish you had haha. Mik is very detailed with her food and will also introduce you to new things all the time. All the ingredients she used are quite fresh. She will also take the utmost care if you have any concerns or allergies. The food is always very delicious and feels so clean. Also the portion is generous to say the least. I was skeptical of the bulgogi at first because it wasn't like the normal I had before, but after having it the first time I had to get it again. The milkshakes are so yummy and great for a quick, healthy meal. The shrimp fried rice sample I got was out of this world. I'm sad I did not order that as my main meal haha. I'm not sure if she sells the cookies or not, but I've had three kinds of them and they're the perfect balance of sweet and salty. I ate three in one sitting last time. I had to give them to my friends to try this time or else I probably would have eaten them all again. All the food she makes is made with care and love. Kimbob was excellent, like homemade which in this area is impossible to find. I've been looking for a good kimbob place and I think I've found it. Will be trying the other things on the menu in the future. It is a bit hard to find, it in the back of the building next to the parking garage and you have to walk to the side of the building a bit. So glad we came here!!! Difficult to find and we almost gave up but so happy we didn't!! Other reviews helped me find it better, you do need to go down towards a loading dock area to get there. The restaurant is actually 3 separate businesses working together, which was kind of confusing but they were so happy to help and explain!!! The owner was ecstatic to explain items on the menu, portion sizes, and how it is prepared (she is the cook, server, host, she does it all!) We decided on the shrimp fried rice, banana milkshake, bulgogi cupbob, and cucumber tuna rolls. When she brought out the food she brought us kimchi as well because she wanted us to try it with the other food, and didn't charge us for it!!! The food was so good and she was so proud of it and to introduce us to new food!! My brother got the ube milkshake but unfortunately didn't like it, she offered him a banana one instead for no extra charge!! We loved the food, the shrimp fried rice was our favorite and it is unique from others we have tried. At the end of our meal she packed up our togo food for us, gave us extra kimchi to bring home, also gave us some free cookies!!! Overall great experience!!! Only wish it was easier to find.
