The food here is great ! The service is great, the owner was hospitable and went over every dish with me. Can't wait to come back !

One of the best korean food I've tried, I forgot to take a picture of the egg salad sandwich but it is a must try here. I also tried the spicy bulgolgi cup bap and it was delicious. The owner was so sweet and she seem to love cooking and it shows through her food. Since it is a smaller business its location is not too great. You have to walk into the building and walk towards Cafe K or the back of the building as someone in the comment said. I'm definitely going back with my friends.

homemade Kimchi and bulgogi cupbap (yes there is a lot of meat!)

Wow. Found this browsing for late night food one day and so glad I did. Location is hard to find: GPS will take you to the front office (which is locked) but if you follow the sign to "Cafe K" and go through the back entrance on Javier Rd. you'll find it. Bulgogi cupbap was incredible. Massive portions and the egg and veggies go very well. Not too sauced or salty, and you can taste the home-made nature of it. Owner also gave me some of her homemade kimchi which was delightfully spicy and a perfect complement. Amazing family owned restaurant that has a delicious, inexpensive, no frills dish. Owner is very friendly and I wish her all the best with this new spot. I will be certainly be returning and bringing friends, especially for late night food pickups.

I've been here twice now. Every time I come Mik warmly welcomes me. She feels like one of those awesome moms from a Korean drama that you wish you had haha. Mik is very detailed with her food and will also introduce you to new things all the time. All the ingredients she used are quite fresh. She will also take the utmost care if you have any concerns or allergies. The food is always very delicious and feels so clean. Also the portion is generous to say the least. I was skeptical of the bulgogi at first because it wasn't like the normal I had before, but after having it the first time I had to get it again. The milkshakes are so yummy and great for a quick, healthy meal. The shrimp fried rice sample I got was out of this world. I'm sad I did not order that as my main meal haha. I'm not sure if she sells the cookies or not, but I've had three kinds of them and they're the perfect balance of sweet and salty. I ate three in one sitting last time. I had to give them to my friends to try this time or else I probably would have eaten them all again. All the food she makes is made with care and love. I will keep coming back for anything Mik makes!

the food is one of the best dishes that we have ever tried. The owner is very friendly and warm. The restaurant is located behind the building, you just have to go around the building. It is in the same place as K cafe. The place also have playing section where you can have a good time with your friends

Tuna cucumber roll and complimentary cookies!

We ordered a spread: gyoza with sweet and spicy sauce, kimchi pancakes, fried shrimp, soy garlic wings, takoyaki, LA galbi, and jjampong with noodles... plus way too many drinks. We arrived early and scored prime seats by the bar, which turned out to be perfect, especially once the night shifted into more of a club vibe with a DJ. The energy was great, and most of the food was surprisingly delicious -- everything hit except the jjampong. We were expecting udon noodles, but it came with thin, clear noodles instead, and the flavor was a bit off for us. That said, the staff handled everything perfectly, and it didn't take away from the rest of the experience. Between the food, drinks, and nightlife atmosphere, we had an awesome time and will definitely be back. The food tasted like it wasn't prepared by a real chef, or more like it was made by someone who had never even tasted their own cooking. It explains why the restaurant was empty vs. full house when it first opened. Honestly, any Korean restaurant in the DMV area is better than this. I don't understand how someone can screw up Korean food in Korean town. Every restaurant in the area gets better and better. Competition is high. The price is on the high end. I don't mind paying even more but please deliver in terms of food quality. They are 100x worse than my last 5 visits a while back. I'm a foodie with over 5k dmv followers. The atmosphere is great for socializing, though it can get pretty loud on weekends. Service is fast and friendly. Food is hit or miss. Most of the smaller dishes are decent, but some feel overpriced. We took one for the team and can report that the $9 corn cheese was incredibly mid. The khanpoong chicken is the only main meal worth it to us. A Korean friend also recommended the bossam and skewers, and I'd agree the skewers are worth ordering. Donkatsu was okay, and the kikurage was good but probably only good bc I got the sauce on the side. Overall, a good late-night hangout spot, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way for the food.

The interior is pretty big with two floors available for seating. The music was loud and most parties were there for the drinks and late-night vibes. CHARCOALED GRILLED CHICKEN - 23 There were more rice cakes than there were chicken. The sauce was spicy and savory, but nothing memorable. Chicken was cut into small pieces, so it tasted a bit dry. The rice cakes had a weird texture I didn't like. Meh. SEAFOOD PANCAKE - 18 Pretty soggy and not a lot of seafood (maybe one bite of seafood per piece). It tasted fine, but not worth it for the price. The food was just okay -- we can definitely find better seafood pancakes and rice cakes at other Korean restaurants nearby. Probably a great spot if you're drunk though.

However, my server said lunch actually goes until 2:30pm. A casual ambience. I notice that the staff constantly keeps their eyes on the customers. Not a big deal, but not something you see every day. There's a lot of lunch specials. I picked the beef fried rice. It comes with banchan and miso soup. The beef fried rice was very good. What was especially good was the delicious black bean sauce that came with the rice. I thought the tasty miso soup was excellent, very rich and silky. Banchan was kimchi, Danmuji fruit and slices of white onion. Accompanying the banchan was a dipping sauce that was similar to, but not the same as the black bean sauce. I will definitely be back.

The dining area is well lit with a kinda open floor plan with a half wall separating the sides. I came in New Year's Eve ~3pm and other patrons were picking up take-away orders. A large group, 15 patrons, came in while I was waiting and everyone was greeted. There were several patrons already enjoying their meal. I love the rice they use and the other ingredients are always fresh. They are generous with their portions. The chicken fried rice comes with a side of fresh onions and I some kind of pickled daikon (I think), a little tart, a little sweet and a nice crisp bite. Super yummy! And a side of ja-jang, I believe that is what it is. Very good and I eat it separately.
