Omg! Turns out Hubby has been going here without me for years!!! What? Lin is so sweet and fast! She fresh fills the filings as you order! See the fresh filled raspberry donut in the box in the photo. Gorgeous And a treat in every bite! A dozen donuts are so big, they don't all fit. Better yet, these donuts are fresh pillowy soft, fluffy goodness. The ham, egg and cheese croissant is A masterpiece and she made it fresh, hot and fast! The croissant is about 7 inches in diameter, biggest we've ever seen, with angel soft buttery fluffy layers in every delectable bite. It must be 2 omelet style eggs with thinly sliced deli ham and plenty of cheese. Hot, delicious and fast! What a treat! This is the place! On the west bound side of the 126. We've driven past for years and Hubby never said a word until today. We commit to dropping in more often. read more

Was on a road trip and driving west on SP 126 headed towards to Pacific Ocean, as we entered Fillmore saw Angel Doughnuts and decided to grab a break. The shop is small but they have lots of fresh doughnuts and other goodies. Prices are very affordable. Service was quick. Also, they offer a wide variety of hot/cold beverages. I was impressed as small as the place is, they offer full service. A nice find to grab a snack. read more

Best donuts in Fillmore! This is a no-frills kind of donut shop, with a classic menu and selection, but for some reason, everything tastes SO good. The donuts I've had (regular donuts, bars, and donut holes) were pillowy soft, with the perfect amount of icing. My partner also loves the ham and cheese croissants here. It was easier to get Angel's when the Shell gas station was next door, but every now and then whenever we have a donut craving, we'll go out of our way to stop here! read more

My usual donut place on the 126 was closed on my last trip from Goleta to home, so I did a quick Yelp search and found Angel a little ways down the road. Glad I did. While more or less sharing a modest roadside spot with a Valero gas station, Angel has that patina of age and experience that tells you it's all going to work out great by the time you're done. A small little spot, Angel has a surprisingly nice selection of donuts. Nothing fancy here-- just good donuts, a mom & pop feel to the operation, and hot coffee. Did I mention the donuts are bomb? I ordered my usual chocolate old-fashioned and apple fritter... delicious, and the fritter was a nice size. When everyone is avoiding the 101, you can sometimes have a tougher time getting out of the parking lot, especially on this little curve in the road. But be patient, another sip of your coffee or bite of your doughnut... Nothing but chores waiting for you at home anyway. read more

Came hear at about 5:30 am on a Saturday morning. There was a line out the door at this tiny donut shop. Mostly construction workers starting their day, and people like me just needing my coffee and donut! The line went fast and the staff were quick, attentive and nice. went here with friends, so we tried a lot! We got an apple fritter, a cake doughnut, a croissant & a big twist doughnut. The apple fritter was a little heavy, it tasted like it got fried a little too long and the glaze was really thick. Still good, just not one i'd try again. Was not a fan of their croissant either. But the cake doughnut was so good, I don't normally like them but it was incredibly moist and had a great texture. The giant twist doughnut was probably my favorite. it had a texture of a cinnamon roll inside and it could be pulled apart and it was definitely big enough to share. Not the best first impression. I walked in around 7:30pm. Waited a few minutes for a girl to greet me (she was in the back) and I asked for a Thai tea boba. I made sure to ask for it blended. She said "they're all blended" . Ok whatever. When I got my drink the girl just stuck ONLY her arm out of the back room and said here you go. I tried the drink and it was the WORST. I tasted like old whole milk and blended ice, no Thai tea flavor whatsoever as for the boba they were hard as marbles. A bad attitude and a bad drink ? No thanks I'll pass. read more

Stopped here the other day based on all the great reviews and the fact that I really wanted a cream filled donut. The woman behind the counter helped me right away but they had no cream filled donuts and the only ones she could have filled on the spot for me had chocolate on them, which was not what I was looking for. Then I asked for a small box of donuts and she informed me they only have one size box (pointing to some boxes I could not really see). She said even if I got a half dozen it would be the same size box. I said yes, that's what I want to do. About a half dozen. She grabbed a bag... I had wanted the box so the donuts would not crowd each other and so I could take gorgeous photos of them before eating them but I didn't complain about the bag. When asked what I wanted, I pointed to the apple fritters and asked for two. She explained that was not part of the special half dozen and I said that's okay, I don't care how much they cost. She then asked if I'd like random donuts and I said no, I would like to pick them out myself. She said yes, random. I disagreed. She tried to explain that they have a special half dozen for $5.99 or ... random donuts. I told her I wanted specific donuts, which is actually the opposite of random. She said "Okay, if you say so," in a completely unbelieving tone. I was totally confused and just wanted to make sure I didn't actually get some random-ass flavors of donuts. Later when discussing with my husband he explained that the woman had probably been trained that the $5.99 special is some "specific" selection she has to make, and thus if the customer chooses, it would be "random" in comparison or from her perspective. Maybe so, but it still means she did not know what the word "random" literally means. Apple fritters were amazing. Best I have had in my entire adult memory. Like someone else said, they are not as oily or wet as at other shops. They are drier but not in a bad way, in a way that makes them taste much higher quality. The donut holes were great as well. The maple bar was very nice - a thinner layer of icing than most shops put on, but the icing tasted more strongly of maple and less like just a sugar spread. 5 stars for donuts 2 stars for service She wasn't trying to be mean, but I can't see myself going back if I can't tell if the employees are setting up to give me random donuts or the ones I want. The donuts were tasty and well priced...but the woman working there was so rude. She gave us the wrong donuts, so I went back in asking for the right ones. You would have thought I was putting her out. Something in the back of the store must have been much more important than helping sell the donuts. We just stopped in to this place and it was terrible. The owner was short and rude. We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and doughnut holes. Before we left one of the breakfast sandwiches we cut in half and discovered they put mayo on it. This was not listed as an ingredient on the menu so we didn't think to ask to leave it off. When we asked them to remake the sandwich they were rude and unwilling to remake it. We pointed out that it never said on the menu that mayo was as in the sandwich. She was refusing to make it for us. I ended up paying for another sandwich. This is unacceptable!!!! You need to clearly state every ingredient. What if someone is allergic? The neighborhood doughnut shop well 1 out of 3. There hours are usually just split hours . During the afternoon its closed I believe. It's really small old fashioned. What i like about this place is they sell boba and different breakfast sandwiches. The price for boba one size is 4.00 and .50 cent more for boba . They have about approx 2o flavors and 10 different breakfast sandwiches I believe. I personally likr the taro boba not a big doughnut guy but they are average. Normally when I go, the service is good and so is anything I get there, usually boba, but this time I went it was a girl who I'm sure is new working there. Now I know working a new job is hard, we've all been there and I definitely have, but I got a boba and a donut, the boba was hot when she gave it to me, it took quite some time to cool down, and it wasn't all that good or refreshing, and they don't refund or exchange any drinks. I asked her a question and she completely ignored me, and it's not that big in there so she heard me, just chose not to answer. As much as I love the boba here, I'm afraid I'll have to look into newer places. And to top it off, I was going to order an apple fritter for my boyfriend, I chose not to once I saw at least 5 flies sitting on them and flying over. I've never seen that before at this location but it really doesn't make me want to give them any business if their attitudes aren't good and flies are on the donuts. read more

A nice family run doughnut shop right on highway 126. They have a great selection of doughnuts as well as various beverages to go with them. This place claims to be open 24 hours, it looks like they live in the back. The doughnuts are good, especially the old fashioned and cake ones. I have had the raised ones though and think they are not that good. Avoid these and anything else you choose should be good. read more

Traveling the 126 since as long as I can remember Angel Doughnuts has always been there. My parents wouldn't stop when I was a kid. But as an adult I stop. It's a small little shop right next to the least expensive place to buy diesel. You should stop. Yesterday I stopping in while the truck was filling and I bought a chocolate cake doughnut and an apple fritter. The cake doughnut was a treat and fritter my breakfast for today! The man who was working was very nice and he put a doughnut hole in the bag as an extra treat! It was a nice and delicious tasty lil treat. This mornings fritter was the best!!! HORRIBLE customer service by the lady (not owner) who works there. Always rude and always makes the boba drinks like milk water. Very unwelcoming. Ended up buy from the gas station next door because the employee (Hispanic younger girl) behind the count 1. Wasn't anywhere to be found for a few mins 2. Was rude and didn't even greet me once she did come out of hiding . 3.I asked for a custard filled chocolate donut four to five times even pointed at the donut . Employees even asked what kind of filling .... saying custard for the sixth time , she than said we don't have filled donuts . Yet I seen it on the menu and she had asked what kind of filling ..Lol . I literally just stopped here on my way through from San Francisco. I just needed something sweet to get home, I was a little skeptical because it's right next to a gas station, but I guess that why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover because the donut holes I got were amazingly priced and incredibly delicious. the cashier was extremely nice aswell. Been going here for 20 years. Arrived on sunday to a sign on the door saying sorry closed until 9. I drove from Santa Clarita for my kids because they love that place. Disappointed and was the 4th time this happened I would have given 5 stars but can't due to inconvenience. Great buttermilk bar. Best doughnut I ever had. I totally recommend this place.
