F this place...my wife and mother in law went there a month ago. They ordered a cake donuts with sprinkles. The lady at the counter charged her FIFTEEN dollars for the donut. Thats right for the one donut. My wife was confused and confirmed the price...the lady reiterated the same amount. My wife gave her a twenty dollar bill and provided 5 dollars in change. My wife did not want to cause a scene and paid the money as my daughter was there and had already began eating it. My wife recently confided this to me. Still our favorite place! I know now though to arrive like 7/730 for more variety of donuts. I feel like before that they're barely coming out. I get for some ppl that frustrating but... they're always fresh and tasty, fluffy, and soft. Hannah is always smiling and saw that my son left his toy once. This very unassuming donut spot honestly has the best donuts in Ventura. I don't know what it is, but even a basic boring plain glazed is amazing. The donuts are perfectly soft on the inside with a hint of vanilla and have that delectable crunch on the outside. I definitely put the flavor, freshness, and taste higher than Rolling Pin in Camarillo. For me this place is the best, than Spudnuts and Rolling Pin in 3rd. I highly recommend it. read more

Best raised donuts ANYWHERE-simple shop that has the basics down. Grew up around so many family owned donut shops, then moved around the country and had to suffer with Dunkin' Donuts as my only option, and then came the gourmet shops that have fun flavors but should use better dough for the price. Come here and there's a good chance your donut will be slightly warm still - their dough is the best I've had. I cannot speak to the cake donuts or the other pastries though. read more

I got the old fashion sprinkled chocolate and it is one of the best old fashioned I have had. My girlfriend really loved the donuts here too. So boyfriend tested girlfriend approved. It will make your mother proud. I personally also recommend the Jelly raspberry filled if you're into the filled donuts! If you're craving donuts stop in and grab them. If I could give zero stars I would! You lack customer service and a very low selection, ON A SUNDAY MORNING. Chick working was one of the rudest people Ever! Won't be back there! I spent over $8 on 3 donuts when 2 of them were day old. The fresh donuts from here are soft and yummy so I know I got older donuts. I don't mind day old donuts when it's my choice to buy them. I have lost trust in this business because I was deceived and charged full price for a hard Bear Claw with its cinnamon inside congealed and a weird dough texture from a glaze with sprinkles. The donuts here are not overly sugary- not the kind that coat your teeth. They're very doughy and sweet and never overwhelming. Every time we walk in we are greeted with a smile and they have a pretty big variety of donuts and beverages. Definitely one of our favorite donut shops. read more

These are the best donuts I've had outside of Winchells. However, the owners aren't even there until 6:30 am and are barely making enough donuts for a dozen if you need them. They would make so much more $$ if they would have a full array of donuts available by 6:30 am. Really the best donuts in Ventura. I have been only going here my whole life. Light and airy, no grease. BEST DONUT HOLES, melt in your mouth. Ummm.... OVER CHARGED! nothing on the menu says $2.50, the highest priced donut is $1.50, but I was charged $5.00 for two donuts. I have been here many times, but never pay attention to how the owner rings up at register, because I always bought more than two donuts (dozen++).
