Stopped by Donut Queen this morning for a sweet treat with my kids, who are obsessed with their themed donuts: unicorns, mermaids, Hello Kitty, Spider-Man, Labubu... basically a kid's dream! We picked up a half dozen for $16. The donuts were fresh, generously sized, and honestly really tasty. No complaints on quality. They definitely know how to make a good donut. That said, the service could use a little warmth. I felt pretty rushed while ordering, which took away from the experience a bit. It wasn't outright rude, just not the friendliest vibe. If it were up to me, I'd probably explore other spots. But my kids love the fun themed donuts here, and sometimes that wins out. Worth a stop if you've got little donut lovers. read more

Horrible service! We were evacuated during the fires but we're trying to bring joy for my kids classmates with some custom donuts. I called early in the morning the day before to see if we could put in an order, was told to come in at 10:00am. I loaded up the car with 3 kids and dogs while and drove over and wasters gas because apparently no one was there to confirm if they could make an order, then was told by the owner to just message online instagram. I even said I would do sprinkle donuts if it didn't work out, but was ghosted on Instagram. Very disappointed on misleading us around all day. Will never come here again. Came because of a craving and he reviews when looking for a good donut. I wanted a sprinkle donut and saw the croissant reviews, so thought hubby and I could have something savory and yummy before the sweet. I didn't care for the croissant at all. The cheese tasted "sour" and hardly any ham and the croissant seemed a bit doughy. We were disappointed- especially after the reviews. No complaints about service, that was fine. Cramped space for ordering. I have visited twice. Most recent visit I ordered 2 French crullers. These were clearly day old. They were stiff, dry and stale. Still were 2$ each. In a previous visit I had crullers that were fresh. I would ask when ordering when the donuts were made. This is the best donut shop I've been to in awhile. My husband and I just moved to the area and we were looking for a new donut shop. They have really good donuts! They also have a great variety of breakfast sandwiches and drinks. They even have cute decorated donuts. I remember trying to get in shape with my personal trainer at the time, just two doors down at 5 a.m. in the morning and smelling fresh donuts coming to my nostrils invading my senses. Causing me to give up and basically waste my money spent on getting in shape to indulging in this wonderful smell. Fast forward six years later, I ended up trying this donut place out. At that time I worked an early shift and decided I had a desire for a cinnamon roll and I headed there on the way to work. As I walked in my memories began to tell me.. "Do you remember the time?" Like Michael Jackson and I locked eyes on the cinnamon roll and we have been friend ever since. The owners are a beautiful couple that are always friendly and welcome you each and every day. The time and detail they take into creating these masterpieces are worth it. You will never get a stale (2 day old deglazed donut) like some of these other places. I strongly recommend this location for your office parties, kids parties or just grabbing a dozen, just because. There is ample parking and pre-orders are available for the themed donuts. The only reason I came here was because I promised the kids donuts and this was on the way home. Plenty of parking but its exclusively a to-go spot. No seating here. The people here were so nice and patient while my kids chose their donuts. You know a donut shop is good when their service always goes above and beyond. A nice small mom/pop coffee and donut shop. I stopped by here this morning to get a breakfast burrito and some hot chocolate to start off my day. The lady working today was very friendly and greeted me when I walked in. There donuts look fresh on display but I wanted a breakfast burrito with potatoes and a small hot chocolate. I was in the store for like 3 minutes before my order came out. They do charge a little fee for credit card transaction but it's a small shop so it shouldn't be a issue. I wore my mask inside and there a decent amount of space for parking. The breakfast burrito is good with the hot sauce but it's just small so it likely won't fill you up. OMG!!! I don't know what they do, but their donuts are lighter than I've ever had. I was in Simi very early so I wanted to get donuts, and this was near and had a great rating so off to Donut Queen. I go the cinnamon snail with crumbs. I like to pull it apart and as I took in the first bite, I could tell is was nice and light compared to others that I've had before. My son wanted a maple twist, but when we opened the box we got a regular glazed twist. I also got a blueberry cream cheese danish- it looked good but it was just okay. I'm still giving it 5 stars because of the cinnamon snail. I know if I'm back in Simi, I'll swing by. read more

I ordered my Christmas donuts from Donut Queen and not only were they beautifully decorated, but some of the tastiest and fluffiest donuts I've ever had and unlike other donuts that usually give me heartburn I was fine afterward with these -they're obviously doing something right here. They also have the most delicious apple fritter I've ever had. When I brought these donuts home everyone wanted to know where the donuts were from cause they were so good. Credit card charges This is 2024 and everyone uses credit cards! I don't understand why they charge an extra 50 cents if you use a credit card here. I'm always suspicious of small businesses that try to encourage customers to use cash rather than credit (trackable) or sneak in an extra charge after selecting a dozen donuts at a cost of $30. Given they have the highest priced donuts in the Valley they shouldn't be charging extra for credit card purchases. I just stopped here to get some donuts for the team at work. First off they're open crazy early which is a perfect fit for my schedule. That being said it appears that the earlier you go, the fewer donut options you have. Their donuts are incredible. They're cake donuts which are usually too heavy for me but theirs are incredibly light and delicious. They also have different coffee options available as well as a breakfast sandwich h menu. I typically love this place. They have insanely good breakfast burritos (make sure you ask for jalapenos) but had a really dissapointing experience this time. I don't know how 9am isn't considered breakfast time anymore but we went in at 9 and they had about 10% of their donut options left.
