Peterson Pools and Spa used to give great service. However, my most recent interaction with their…read moreservice department will be my last. Very poor communication, poor follow up, and poor service. They did fix the small leak they were asked to fix. However, I asked for a heads-up call 1 hour before someone was planning on arriving. I was told that wouldn't be an issue. No one called me. The repair technician came out and fixed the leak without any notice. There was another noticeable leak just a few feet away from the original work order leak, but they didn't even bother looking at. I would have informed them/pointed it out if they would have called in advance like I was promised. *Side thought: Why wouldn't a repair technician call the customer if there was another noticeable leak / issue just a few feet away from where they were working??? Also, every time I attempted to call their service department, I would have to leave a message, and that would lead to series of phone tag. Messages don't get responded to in a timely manner, and all I heard was excuses in the end. No sense of ownership, just excuses. Don't waste your time with this company if you need servicing done. We were planning on buying another dolphin from them but decided they weren't very helpful and getting it repaired if needed in the future would be a headache. We found Pool Werks in Burnsville and a lady working there named Antonia was very knowledgeable of their products and was able to help us find a great replacement vacuum for a great price on sale that is an upgrade from the former dolphin product! 10/10 recommend this place if you need a pool vacuum

Very disappointed. Be aware if there are any issues - they will make it your problem…read more My above ground pool which I had 12 years with no issues was damaged by a storm. I selected Performance pool to do this. They installed it in October of 2023. The winterized it and put on the winter cover. The cover wouldn't stay on and they told me I should just put a bunch of stakes around the pool. The pool was good for the first season. I opened it in the spring of 2025 and the liner had pulled out. I had to drain it and then they charged me $400 to tuck it back in. This spring the same thing happened - it came out so I drained it and tucked it back in and started to refill it. The liner pulled out again while it was filling and I had a bigger mess(sand washed out from the pool base). Keep in mind - they installed the liner originally, they charged me to fix it a year later and it happened again. To me it would seem something is wrong. I hadn't heard anything back after multiple emails and calls and was going to try to fix it myself with I looked closer at the liner and it was peeling and had a couple small tears close to the top. I sent this info over and they finally got back to me saying they were going to retuck the liner and fix the sand but if I was concerned they could replace the liner at a cost of over $6K+. This was after I spent 18K+ to buy the pool originally. Because of all the issues I had I decided to pay for the replacement because I couldn't keep dealing with the liner pulling out and having to drain and refill the pool every spring. They did lower the price but it was still over 3K. the sales people seem helpful but once the pool is installed they won't do much other than pass along your concern. I had copied our sales guy on an email to the service person and was scolded for copying him on the email. The communication from the service team is terrible. I kept trying to get updates as to when they were going to be here to replace my liner and I received a text the morning of that they were on their way. If you buy from here - keep in mind - you will be paying for any issues you might have. After the sales and install I was going to give them 5 stars but there is no way I could recommend them to anyone.
