My family and I are recent owners of a hot tub and needed help getting set up with the right chemicals and understanding the process for maintenance. Poolside was a great choice. Friendly helpful service. The process started with bringing a sample of water which they tested to help know which chemicals to use and at what level for weekly maintenance. They took the time to explain each step of the process and gather all the chemicals needed. I should have read the reviews before engaging Poolside... Contacted the company for pool cleaning and they did a great job in cleaning the pool and getting it ready to be used for summer and then i trusted them way too much, which was my downfall. they recommended changing the sand on the filter, and i bought it, Next thing i know that my in-ground pool had sand in there and when i contacted them, they said that they'll come and clean it up. they came refused that the sand is in there because of the change and has always been there...and said that the sand is in the pool because the pump is old and would cost me $500 to replace including labor& parts, reluctantly i agreed since we were hosting a pool party that weekend and came back home to find out an invoice for $850which listed that i was quoted for $850 for the work which was absolute bologna. i called and conversed with multiple people and after assurances that they'll look into it immediately, my debit card was charged $856 :( and that was the end of that. Lesson learned for me so BUYER BEWARE and read the reviews and get things in writing from them before getting any work done. Giving them 2 stars because they did a good job in cleaning the pool initially. read more

As a owner of a Coleman Spa (hot tub), Poolside has always been there in terms of parts, water testing, and various spa treatments. In addition, they have an extensive BBQ and sauna selection, true caterers to a life of relaxation and personal indulgence. Considering a spa? More jets the merrier and this place will let you test them out. Kind of tough grading this place on the price range indicator. Sure a tub is expensive, but they do free water testing which is something you should do multiple times a year. read more

They make the customers always feel like they are their only top priority I wish they would start selling Covana covers too. I was suppose to have my pool serviced on a specific set date- they never showed- never answered the call - weren't prepared when they did finally show up - never heard from them again. The communication was non existent. If I would have heard a response saying saying it was delayed or that I had something on my end to do, I wouldn't be upset. I've never received worse customer service than I received at Poolside. I had them scheduled for service and was no showed twice with no phone call. I called them 8 times and left messages and got no response. When they finally did show up they were rude and didn't even get the job done. I was charged $500 and my hot tub still leaked. I left yet another message asking when they could come out again to fix it and of course once again got no response. If I ran my business this way I'd be out of business. Bottom line, NEVER use poolside to service your pool or hot tub. If you need chemicals go to doheny.com and get them delivered the next day for half the price. read more

We bought a spa here a couple weeks ago and have been THRILLED with the service both during the sale, during the delivery, and post-sale. First during the sale Mark was very patient and helpful as we learned about the ins and outs of buying a spa. The Dimension One brand is a quality tub and we were very impressed with some of their innovations that you can't get elsewhere. We ended up buying a floor model for a lower price and with a quicker delivery which we loved! The delivery team was nice, helpful, and quick. They took away our old spa and placed the new one in the location carefully. After it was delivered, Mark even came out to give us a demo and a chemical tutorial which was a level of service I never expected! I am thrilled with Poolside on all levels right now! read more

We have had the same issues with our spa almost from day 1. The tech says we have 5 years to remedy the problems and we are into the 3rd year now with the same problems. We simply cannot use our spa when we want to as the jets will not work. We have sent the videos of the icons spinning as requested when no motor action was evident. This is what the tech requested. Poor communication, dirty people, rude and not friendly, I would never use this company again.

Charged me $89 for a service call that took 5 minutes (maybe 10 from start to finish) and the rep to tell me that "you don't want us to do this job, you'd be better off doing it yourself". I have no trouble paying for a visit, but I didn't get the value return. Brought back memories of a previous, lukewarm service visit from them. I'd use someone else. read more

We purchased a spa from Poolside 6/18. It was a gift for my wife's 40th birthday. Throughout the process, Mark was absolutely fantastic, prompt and professional. We were most impressed with his demeanor--he was informative and helpful as we considered our choices, but never put on an aggressive sales pitch. This heavily contrasted with another vendor we were considering. In the end, we were very happy to give Mark and Poolside our business. The delivery process was very smooth and my wife has interacted with Mark on several occasions for routine maintenance, supplies. If only all sales professionals were like Mark! read more

Terrible service, they didn't close the pool down properly the year before which ended up with a burst pipe that they wouldn't claim responsibility for. Then when putting some new sand in the filter they over tourqed on the bolts rather than putting in a new gasket which cracked the filter casing and told us it was our Bad threads which doesn't wash because they never mentioned it when they put the sand in at 1st before turning on the pump later. Then told us the replacement part was not available and sold us a new filter charged us extra for the sand even though we just paid for sand. Then I found out from Jacuzzi the part was available Which would Have been a fraction of the cost as compared to buying a whole new one. When they took the cover off in the Spring they let all the leaves on top of the cover go right into the pool which added more cost for them to remove the leaves that they let go into the pool. Don't pay them up front for the whole summer because you have no leverage when you start getting bad service from them not showing up. 3 weeks late on the opening the pool still looked like a swamp in the End of July End of July. They didn't blow out the anchor holes before they power tooled them in which damaged more than a quarter of them around the pool which they charged us in the fall to replace and repair. A service girl that showed up to do the original opening and forgot some equipment was gonna try to do it with our in house vacuum quite a joke. This is the girl that drove her truck off a hill on our front driveway. spin out marks everywhere and they denied it at 1st until they had to admit it and I only charged them a minimal amount for the repair. For the 2nd year in a row they didn't put in one of the jets which makes the jet down by the shallow end not work. I continued to bring this to their attention but took them 3 weeks to get it fixed in properly circulating. They continued to not put in the skimmer baskets properly which let acorns and other stuff get into the pipes which I personally had to snake out. They didn't put the ladder in on the opening and told me it wasn't included in the price and was an extra charge which I found out later was not true .In late July with a swamp of a pool they put in $200 worth of chemicals and it's still a swamp. I take things into my own hands shocked the hell out of it and get it cleared up on my own. In the fall they put the cover on wrong with a big gaping hole on the shallow end And then tried charging us extra for putting the cover on which is included in the package. Made a Better Business Bureau complaint and their response was a lie on every issue. Totally dishonest people. do not hire them. read more

The hours on this website say they're open on Sunday until four, I drove 30 miles to stop by here and they're closed on Sundays. Luckily for them performance pools does such a shitty job, otherwise they would be out of the market also. read more
