It also carries a lifetime warranty and can pass this along to the next homeowner if we ever decide to move. Communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. They always took the time to sit down with us, answer every question, and clarify anything we were unsure about. The install crew was meticulous, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. They stuck to their schedule, and whenever something changed, they proactively updated us so we could adjust our plans. The electrical crew was equally impressive--so much so that we plan to use them for future projects. The landscaping and irrigation teams also did a great job, following up after the fence and sod were completed to make sure everything was dialed in perfectly. It meant a lot to have Chad and Zack stop by several times during the project to ensure everything was meeting our expectations and to take care of any remaining checklist items. Their involvement showed a level of commitment you don't often see. If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be to provide manuals and pool information up front and offer a starter kit with chemicals and cleaning essentials--maybe even include it as part of a "package price." Despite Minnesota's unpredictable weather, our pool was installed in just under four weeks, and my family has been enjoying being able to cool off with the hot weather we've had as of late! We are looking forward to hosting many parties with friends and family moving forward. I highly recommend A Pool Day to anyone considering a pool installation. They took the time to explain each step of the process and gather all the chemicals needed. Contacted the company for pool cleaning and they did a great job in cleaning the pool and getting it ready to be used for summer and then i trusted them way too much, which was my downfall. they recommended changing the sand on the filter, and i bought it, Next thing i know that my in-ground pool had sand in there and when i contacted them, they said that they'll come and clean it up. they came refused that the sand is in there because of the change and has always been there...and said that the sand is in the pool because the pump is old and would cost me $500 to replace including labor& parts, reluctantly i agreed since we were hosting a pool party that weekend and came back home to find out an invoice for $850which listed that i was quoted for $850 for the work which was absolute bologna. i called and conversed with multiple people and after assurances that they'll look into it immediately, my debit card was charged $856 :( and that was the end of that. Lesson learned for me so BUYER BEWARE and read the reviews and get things in writing from them before getting any work done. Giving them 2 stars because they did a good job in cleaning the pool initially.

As with other reviews of this company (see google) I experienced the same situation. Zenon (the owner) comes off very sincere while he is selling the job; however once you have paid him, that's over. The person he sent to do the job could barely speak English (that was the first challenge). He could never tell us when he was going to show up or not, he would just show up "whenever" to do the job (just like the other google reviewer experienced). We had colored grout installed. After it was put in I noticed there were areas throughout where the grout was white and not colored. I called Zenon numerous times to address this. He finally showed up and looked at the work. He indicated that the grout was installed incorrectly and that he would get me scheduled to have it redone. It never happened. I called for 3 months. He would answer and tell me he was: just getting on a plane, was out of town, would call me back, etc. I finally told him I was going to take action, he said fine do what you want- and his last comment to me was unbelievable, he said, "did you really think I would come back and fix this, I never do." STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY - TERRIBLE WORK- UNPROFESSIONAL.
