Joe spent time on the phone with me reviewing pictures I sent him over text message. He then came out (for free) to take a closer look at our heater and put together a quote to replace the pump and update the plumbing. He also gave an honest assessment of our heater and filter. His quote was reasonable and his honesty was refreshing. He even left us some underwater glue to repair the collar on our skimmer. I was really impressed.

He gave me a quote based off of the pictures that I sent for chemical treatment, vacuuming, and replacing pool cover. I agreed to the quote and requested him to clean the pool. I texted the address per his request. Never received a response. 3 days later I texted asking if he was still going to clean my pool. He said yes, confirmed the address and he would come next week. 2days later he calls and she he was on his way to clean the pool. Once he came he poured a chemical in the pool and said call him when it clear so he can come back out the clean and vacuum. A few days later a sent a picture of water and said water looks clear and can we set up a day/time to complete the treatment and cleaning. He never responded. 2 days later (last Thursday) I texted asking if he was coming or should I find another company. At 8:54pm he responded saying he was about 30mins away. I asked if he would be able to properly clean the pool in the dark, he said he just wanted to see the water. When he arrived he splashed the water around with his hand and asked how do I normally clean my pool. I told him then he asked if I had any chlorine or bleach will work just fine. I gave him 2 gallons of chlorine which he poured in the pool and said call me when it clears up again. I told him if he knows it should only take a couple days to let schedule a time for him to come back. He agreed to come on Sunday. Sunday morning I sent him a text stating 'just wanted to confirm todays cleaning and to see what time you are coming' he replied ' he replied he will be out this afternoon' 3pm I called only for him to tell me he would come out on Monday. Today, Monday he called and said he was done cleaning the pool. He got a lot of pine needles but not all, I asked if he changed the filter, he said no. I asked about the cover and was told he doesn't have it and would need to mail it to me. I explained to him that I wanted my pool cleaned and a new cover. Then asked how is it supposed to stay free of debris without a cover. He then told me he would bring one back in a few hours. I told him I was not happy with his services. The only Communication has been me reaching out via calling or texting. He told me he is the only employee and told him if he couldn't do the job he should have said so. When I came out and looked at the pool there are still a lot of Pineneedles, algae on the walls, dirt on the floor, and the water is cloudy. When I informed him of the condition of the pool and sent pictures he texted me back basically saying he apologized for the poor service, he wasn't going to charge for the chemicals or labor so far and his company could not complete the job. I have never experienced anything like this before.

They took the time to explain each step of the process and gather all the chemicals needed. Contacted the company for pool cleaning and they did a great job in cleaning the pool and getting it ready to be used for summer and then i trusted them way too much, which was my downfall. they recommended changing the sand on the filter, and i bought it, Next thing i know that my in-ground pool had sand in there and when i contacted them, they said that they'll come and clean it up. they came refused that the sand is in there because of the change and has always been there...and said that the sand is in the pool because the pump is old and would cost me $500 to replace including labor& parts, reluctantly i agreed since we were hosting a pool party that weekend and came back home to find out an invoice for $850which listed that i was quoted for $850 for the work which was absolute bologna. i called and conversed with multiple people and after assurances that they'll look into it immediately, my debit card was charged $856 :( and that was the end of that. Lesson learned for me so BUYER BEWARE and read the reviews and get things in writing from them before getting any work done. Giving them 2 stars because they did a good job in cleaning the pool initially.

McFarland facilitates Koehler warranty work &…read moretherefore were dispatched to our home after Koehler was super awesome and warranty replaced our leaking faucet. Koehler overnight aired a new faucet to our home. Upon arrival, McFarland was told multiple times the faucet was leaking. They completely ignored ours & Koehler's request to replace the faucet & instead took the new faucet with them & blamed the water leak on something else. In turn, we were forced to pay a different plumber $175 only to come out & tell us what we already knew...the faucet was leaking. Here's where it gets horrible...I called back to McFarland and Marcia McFarland who answers the phones was completely rude, dismissive & short with me. She also forced me to call back to Koehler to open yet another ticket (which I presume would allow them to get paid for a 2nd trip) which meant another 45 min on hold. Upon connecting to a Koehler rep, I was told by the rep that apparently Marcia had already added notes essentially stating I was lying & the faucet wasn't leaking. I was furious at this point. Because of these notes, I had to capture a video of the leak (which I then did) & send to both Koehler & McFarland. Once the new ticket was created I called back to McFarland to schedule the 2nd visit. On the call I inquired about reimbursement for the $175 I paid the other plumber to come out & tell me the faucet was leaking. Marcia went off on me!! She has NO PLACE answering phones for a company! Sooooo RUDE! She was yelling at me stating they wouldn't come to my house now unless I signed a form stating they were not responsible for the $175. I disagreed...they are 100% responsible for us having to have a second plumber out to verify what they should have accepted the first time they were there. To wrap it up, Steve did come out and replaced the leaking faucet eventually & all works now. Unfortunately we are out the $175 and McFarland is to blame but we have no recourse outside of litigation. Avoid this company at all costs as they take zero responsibility for their mistakes.

He gave me several options and answered all of my questions (and I asked A LOT of questions.) He was patient and respectful of my financial concerns. I ended up with a tankless water heater because it's the best there is and it is incredibly efficient. The installation was so fast and organized and I had hot water immediately. HIRE THESE GUYS if you want to be treated with respect and want a positive experience because we ALL know that no one WANTS to spend money on a new water heater!

Nobody would use your service if you quoted this price up front. Then on top of it there was zero effort to keep a clean work space in my home.
