We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon. They have a nice parking lot. We had no reservation but they were able to seat us right away. We were lucky to get a table right by the ocean view. It was perfect. We had the clam fritters as an appetizer and they were delicious. I also liked their tartar sauce. I had the fish sandwich and my friend had the coconut shrimp which I tried. Both were great and we enjoyed. I also got the Andrea house small salad and it was very good as well. We did not get any alcoholic drinks but those looked fun. Something to try for next visit. It got busy so getting a water refill was hard so recommend asking for a pitcher of water that I saw other tables have in the beginning. Other than that a great lunch.

This place is a staple on Westerly RI. I go here at least once a year. I love the outside seating by the ocean but that they also have an indoor area as well. They have an indoor bar and make good drinks. The food is more of a seafood menu but for someone that doesn't eat seafood there are some other options as well. The service was good. It's a chill vibe here.

Great food. Excellent service. The drinks were also great. On the water with great ambience

This place is the definition of a beach bar. It literally could not be more on the beach....the views are spectacular and of course there is sand everywhere. Shirt and shoes are definitely optional! You really can't get any more beachy than this. We were there on a beautiful summer afternoon with highs in the 80s. Fortunately we were able to get a table under the tent which provided us with shade but still allowed a nice view and a refreshing breeze. Service was friendly and fairly efficient (although the salad was a little slow in coming out). We had bang bang shrimp and some shrimp tacos, along with a really tasty watermelon and feta salad. We didn't have any alcoholic drinks but based on the menu and what I saw going by on trays, if you want a little booze by the water, you will not be disappointed. The food was tasty and I thought the prices were reasonable. The only downside was the men's bathroom. That was rough on many fronts. I haven't been that traumatized by a bathroom since seeing the Grateful Dead at RFK Stadium during the early 90s. Restroom aside, this seems like a decent place with a great vibe and I would guess that it's a favorite of the locals since everyone seemed to know one another. If you want a nice meal by the beach, this is your place.

Stopped in here for dinner with my favorite ladies on our long weekend and I've got to say, we were in love with this spot. We called ahead for a rezzie and were sat immediately when we arrived. We decided to split a drinks pitcher, and can confirm the summer drinks menu they have is on point. The stuffies are super flavorful and I wish I had ordered more. I decided to go with a whole lobster and 10/10 would recommend. The lobster meat was delish and perfect and I would eat this daily if I could. We split dessert between us and it was altogether a perfect outdoor dining experience.

Great service and atmosphere at The Andrea Restaurant and Bar on Misquamicut Beach. The food was great - clam fritters and clam strips were very fresh, the baked haddock was delicious. Highly recommend!

Perfect ocean view!

I've been here a few times on and off season and it's always great. Excellent food, nice and courteous staff and great location with plenty of parking. Can't wait to get back next summer and enjoy the patio seating overlooking the ocean.

Fun relaxed beachy atmosphere. Great drinks and appetizers. Right on the beach to relax and enjoy the view. Staff provided friendly service $$

Cancelled

had a reservation for "under the tent". We are on our way , in the car, when the text comes canceling our reservation. No reason, no apology, no way to contact the restaurant via phone or text, and no time to make alternative reservations elsewhere. As Seinfeld said, they know how to take a reservation, they just don't know how to keep a reservation.

Andrea's is a great spot for a bite right on misquamicut beach! I had to get a lobster roll here after a full day at the beach. My lobster roll was soo good despite the price, but you're paying for the view too I suppose. I wish we could've "swapped" out the potato chips for the fries for an up-charge, but we had to get the fries as a side. Their fries are great though!! Kind and quick service. We didn't have a reservation, but waited about 10 minutes for two people on a Sunday afternoon.

Yassssssssssss Loved loved loved Andrea Beach Bar. Party of 5 came in on memorial day weekend and we were welcomed and seated immediately. Our server was sweet, informative, upbeat and super attentive. We tried some of their specials for the day and oh my the brussel sprout salad was amazing-the fish and chips were delicious-and the lobster was to die for. Everything we ate was amazing. The view was amazing.

How much is parking? Is that price deducted from the food bill?

We parked our car and we didn't get charged extra for parking during our time there.

As we entered and did not have a reservation, we were seated at the bar. I can share- they did not fill up! We could easily been seated at a table but the bar was not an issue. Nice guys working the bar. We went very simple: tomato soup that comes with focaccia grilled cheese. The tomato soup was delivered with balsamic drizzle and anice grilled cheese stick. It was a great meal for a rainy day. It was good. We opted to share a dessert: sticky toffee pudding. It was soft and the caramel was sweet and smooth. DELICIOUS! Overall great experience. Took a while to arrive. The pork belly was exquisitely rendered with beautifully charred skin and tender meat. Lobster roll served warm was very good, the lobster was a little overcooked but still a highlight. Buttermilk Fried Chicken had super crisp skin and was executed and presented perfectly, great tasting together with the accompanied pickled vegetables and hot-honey butter. The best dish of the night. Sticky toffee pudding was as good as advertised: sticky, textured, with interesting mouthfeel offset by lightly whipped cream. Tequila based El Mariachi was tasty and balanced but not memorable.

Upon entrance is a doorman who is so friendly and accommodating! He found us an open table and checked on us throughout the night. The place was packed and they only had maybe 5 or 6 employees so the service was a little slow but understandable. I think the longest wait was about 20 minutes when we were waiting to get our initial drink order taken, but everything after that was fairly quick. For drinks I got a thin mint martini because they were out of the chocolate reuge martini I wanted. It was so yummy and came with 3 thin mint cookies. My mom got a pistachio martini and the Jefferson Tea. Both were pretty good but I wouldn't order again. My dad got Dead Mans Redemption which is good if you like bourbon. It comes with a wood topper and they light it on fire, let smoke fill in the drink, and then take the wood off. The drink then has notes of smoked wood in it which is cool. For food we got the crispy spring rolls and pepperoni flatbread. Both were so good!!!! It was absolutely worth the wait!!! I could eat the whole flatbread myself it was that good and I can't wait to go back and get another one. The crowd is definitely much older, not a lot of younger people around. It's a good date night for married couples. Overall it was a nice place and I would come back.
